|1 day 2 hours ago||I would like to think so, but||
if the line can't open holes again this year it is going to make possible recruits wonder what is going on.
|1 day 16 hours ago||I talked about him at the open scrimmage||
Did a double take when I saw him on the field. Just think we all thought Vincent Smith was small.
|2 days 23 hours ago||You have to remember||
Alabama takes the equivalent of or close to 5 recruiting classes every 4 years. You will never see them have a class the size we are going to have this year because they would just cut or medical players. Its the one thing that really pisses me off about the NCAA that they allow this.
|3 days 43 min ago||Never said fire Funk||
I know that our 2008 OL had only Schilling with any experience and a bunch of 3 star recruits. We were learning a new system and had QBs with no experience who weren't even a fit. Somehow Greg Frey managed a get that Oline to function well enough to have 2 RBs average over 4 ypc and 2 over 5 ypc despite our QBs completing under 50% of their passes.
Having players listed on the roster and them actually being good enough to play are two different things. Once again UCLA is projected to start three true sophomores and all three spent a good portion of last year starting as true freshman and despite that UCLA rushed for almost 75 more yards per game then we did.
|3 days 18 hours ago||Injuries, players quit, and the process||
all played a part. For what its worth USC's current projected starting OL includes a Fr, RS Fr, 2 RS soph, and a Jr. UCLAs two deep includes a Sr, RS Jr, 2 RS Soph, 4 Soph, RS Fr, and 2 Fr with 3 true sophs starting.
What I'm saying is enough with the excuses for the OL. We have 3 OL who should be in their 4th year in the program unfortunately 1 quit and another took a medical. We also lost Jake Fisher in this class due to the coaching change. 4 players in their third year and 6 in their second year. We missed on Alex Kozan in 2012 and he started in the NC game last year. Obviously there are a lot of young Olineman developing and playing better than ours are for whatever reason.
|3 days 19 hours ago||Serious question||
What TE has shown you that they can block? That was supposed to be AJ Williams biggest value ans I have been extremely disappointed with that. I'm sure Heitzman will give effort, but he has been on the other side of the ball the past two years.
|4 days 4 hours ago||Dymonte||
was a LB in HS and did not have coverage responsibilities. He has to learn a whole new skill set to play his position. Think of what Cam Gordon went through (HS LB and WR) asked to move to safety. Luckily Dymonte is more athletic and I believe he'll get it. Peppers has been a DB his entire HS school so of course he is going to get it.
|4 days 7 hours ago||Dymonte and Peppers||
The HUGE difference here is that Peppers played DB in HS and is use to coverage. Dymonte was a LB who didn't have to cover so he has to learn a whole new skill set. It is much harder to move back in a D scheme than it is to move up.
|4 days 15 hours ago||My thoughts||
Shane played better than Devin IMO
Green and Johnson got the majority of snaps with the 1s Smith mostly with 2s
Ways had some nice catches but they were all against a walk on I have never heard of
Mo Hurst made a couple nice plays in backfield-quick off the ball
Noticed when we came out of nickel a couple times Peppers stayed on field at CB and Taylor came off
Hagerup boomed some (one at least 70 yards in the air) and is now #40

I would like a report on the Elio if you get a chance to see/drive it. Thanks in advance.

Can never get enough Michigan football.
|6 days 2 hours ago||There is a big difference||
between not making the grade and CHEATING. Then again, I guess if you're not going to the make it may be what caused you to cheat.
If you read some of the comments further down it sounds as if an academic advisor may have been fudging grades in 2012 and they may be vacating wins for playing ineligible players. One poster was very upset as Brian Kelly was suppose to get their academic standards "dumbed down" so they could get more 5 stars.
|1 week 3 min ago||A reported||
95,000 at a spring game in 2009 and over 81,000 Urb's first year. By the way Ohio State charges for their spring game. So you can understand why they may be laughing.
|1 week 17 hours ago||But those affordable tickets||
have already been sold to someone and do nothing to the amount of unsold tickets the AD has remaining.
|1 week 17 hours ago||Pretty bad||
when a season pass to park cost more than a season ticket.
|1 week 17 hours ago||Why does the 2nd chance||
have to be here. I'm sure he'll get a second chance somewhere. I just don't want it to be at U of M.
As far as DUIs go, I think you really need to look at the BAC. I know plenty of people who have no problem driving at a .08. I also know some people who I wouldn't get into a car with if they were stone cold sober and still can't figure out how they got their license. To make things clear I don't know the circumstances of Glasgow's DUI so I'm not sticking up for him or saying the punishment is to light.

but didn't Winston go from the jail house to starting RB. Then there was the engineering student beat down after the football banquet. While I'm not saying Dantonio would take him, but given past history I can't say he wouldn't.

Girls just as hot, better campus, and better location.
|1 week 2 days ago||Did you read his post?||
With a "15% drop" his tickets actually went up.

Notice the number of people wearing jerseys to games. Since we don't have Maize jerseys you end up with a half a** maize out. I would think we have a better shot at a blue out then a maize out.
|1 week 3 days ago||7 aren't going to block 9||
yet Borges continued to run the ball against a loaded box. I don't care who the Oline coach is you are going to have a hard time being successful. I 'll hold off judgement on Funk based on the constantly changing schemes and stupid play calling last year though I tend to wonder exactly what you do.
Hopefully Nuss will give DG the ability and time to audible to a quick pass when the WR has a 10 yard cushion and there is 8 to 9 in the box. Not sure DG had the go ahead to do so last year. Half the time it wouldn't have matter as we came out of the huddle with less than 10 seconds on the play clock.
|1 week 3 days ago||If they only win 7 games||
this year then somebody is getting fired.
|1 week 4 days ago||Seriously||
What idiot gets out of his car on a dimly lit track thus putting himself in grave danger? I feel sorry for Ward and his family and friends and they'll be in my prayers, but you've already found a man guilty by watching a video. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?
|1 week 4 days ago||Trying to make Johnny a star||
Can't believe how many times they mentioned he was playing with the second team Oline. Never once did they bring up the fact that he was going against Lion's backups on D. I would have loved to see Suh plant that cocky little sh**.
|1 week 4 days ago||Lets see||
I had non renewable season tickets for two years before DB took over. He sees three big dollar games and decides to sell ticket packs. Do I get any consideration to buy packs for having 4 season tickets? Hell no. Constant money grabs including "dynamic pricing leading to the $550 football ticket, eliminating the wait list for the $500 interest list, student tickets the highest in the BIG, PSL's for basketball, and using the holiest of ground for weddings and proms. Trying to create a "mini super bowl" when that is not what Michigan football is about. Pissing off the students. Floating the idea of a mascot (something politicians do to see the response). No unopened water bottles.
When the offer for the reduced donation season tickets somehow they forgot to get the offer out to me despite having the non renewable season tickets previously. At least they apologized for that, but I had already bought the PSU game tickets through the Alumni Association.
We will clearly disagree because you apparently like DB and my experience with his decisions and what is going on in his department have left a bad taste in my mouth and indicate that he has no problem pissing students and alumni alike. So yes, the day he is gone will be an extremely happy day forme because I think he is a tool.
|1 week 5 days ago||Last year of students tickets||
was 2005 and it cost me $147 for seven home games or $21 a game. Tickets have almost doubled for students since I graduated. Throw in all the garbage that DB pulled last year and this years craptastic schedule and I can understand the apathy.
|1 week 5 days ago||How are they going to distinguish||
regular student tickets from those extra they bought? Or are they just going to eliminate validation this year. How much does a student want to make for three tickets to App State.
|1 week 5 days ago||If by smear||
you mean basically telling the truth or giving a reasoned opinion about what is going on then you're right. When did he right a book smearing the whole department? I love Michigan athletics but there is no way I would pay $70 to see App State.
Lets face it DB has done a lot of things wrong during his tenure and personally I can't wait until he is gone. But if you have a problem with Bacon maybe it is because you can't handle the truth.
|1 week 5 days ago||We would all love to support the team||
but taking care of my family comes first. If I can't support the team in person because the AD has priced me out of the market then I'll be screaming my head off in front of my TV.
The AD installed the scam of "dynamic pricing" last year to rape and pillage the fan base. He hasn't put "dudnamic pricing" in place this year because of this horrific home slate. What type of idiot would reschedule App State?
|1 week 6 days ago||Bellomy?||
I'm sorry but I never want to see him in a game again except in mop up duty. For Borges and Hoke to have actually thought he could be the primary backup and to leave him in against Nebraska after what they saw still ticks me off. I don't care if Devin hadn't taken a snap in practice he had to be better than Bellomy even if he just ran the damn ball.
