It was his dad's; technically he did "move on," but there must have been a transition phase in which the plate was not technically passed forward to the son yet and that's when the other guy was able to claim it.

From then on hardly anyone had any personality, and you could tell almost every successful player (Williams sisters an obvious exception) had been groomed by rich parents and tennis academies and kept away from normal social interaction since the age of 3.
I think he's actually said that it's something his late father used to say so he picked it up from him. It's just a pet peeve of mine as as a psychologist, as I try to encourage people to be emotionally honest and not feel pressure to always say they are doing well.
I have a hard time believing any human being can be doing "shockingly well" every single time he is interviewed, and at that point I question his use of the word "shockingly," but beyond that I've never doubted JUB's integrity or honesty.

The problem is they don’t know who they are, and they do it all the time. They think they're just being realistic and everyone else is "pie in the sky." They get a kick out of pessimism and being able to say they called it when we lose, then are pleasantly surprised if we win but everyone is happy so nobody calls them out.
I actually really enjoyed this game. We took a punch to the nose at the beginning in an incredibly difficult environment and a bunch of players were super clutch on offense and defense. Dug continues to mature and foreshadow how great he’ll be in his career, Big D had one of his best games of the year, and Bufkin had some really impressive plays too. Team defense was as good as it’s been all year. This was all without our NBA lottery pick.
Seems like every other year for the last 12 or so years we have a very young team that sucks until February then turns it on with clutch play.
That was a HUGE win. Juwan and everyone who played deserves a ton of credit.

And is it me or was this Dug’s worst game if the year? Seemed like he couldn’t do anything at all on offense other than bring the ball up and pass around the perimeter, absolutely zero penetration.
Hate to say it, but this recap is about as lifeless as Michigan was during OT. This game was super important for saving the season and was a heart attack sandwich of a game until the very end.
Sorry Alex, this just seemed super dry, especially for such an exciting and heart breaking game. Was hoping for some comfort, catharsis, maybe humor or even just a cat picture. I miss Brian/Ace/Seth recaps :(

I've had the same issue for about a year now. Super annoying, takes 60-90 sec to load each time. Never have this issue with any other site, and last time I cleared my browsing data (which is a pain in the butt and messes with my saved tabs and gets rid of private ones) it only fixed the issue for about a week.
I have no idea why this happens or why it hasn't been resolved yet.
Did not imagine the qb competition could be over this quickly and decisively. Really hope michigan fans show some class and don’t rip into cade too much. Feel terrible for him. But I’ve literally never seen anyone kill it like jj today, even considering the baby seal competition. Not a single mistake or non perfect throw. Sky is absolutely the limit.
Still a little annoyed at Brian and about half the fanbase who basically gave up on Harbaugh, Cade, and the team after a weird and disappointing 2020 season and thought we had no chance in 2021. Gonna try to purge that out of my system here and enjoy the shared general optimism for the coming season!

But they were super injury plagued last year with a rookie coach and QB, have filled holes with solid players throughout the roster, and had what many people consider the best draft of any team last year. I'm not saying they're gonna win the division but pretty much everyone expects them to be vastly improved. All hinges on Zach Wilson and for me it's a total coin flip as to whether he might be the real deal or a total flop, but to completely write them off because they're "the same old Jets" is just ignorant.
I was sharing YTTV with my sister on the other side of the country and loved it. Then after a few months it started asking if I was traveling, and eventually it booted me. Anyone know a way around this?

Not crazy about two Buckeyes but both Wilson and Ruckert seem to have a decent floor and fairly high ceiling. Love that we were able to get probably the top CB, the top RB, likely one of the top Edges, arguably the best WR, and one of the top 2-3 TEs. All positions of need.
I still have no idea if Zach will be a bust or not, but the front office certainly gave him some tools to work with and the OL should be decent if Becton recovers.
As a clinical psychologist it was great that insurance companies were forced to cover telehealth and lots of folks (especially those working from home) had more flexibility to seek therapy. I also feel like lots of people who never tried or considered therapy before were seeking it, reducing stigma overall and was good for business (I don't even have a website and had a 2-3 month long wait list throughout the pandemic).
Unfortunately insurance companies still suck and have not raised rates at all (some actually lowered them) despite the increased demand and inflation, and there's talk that some of them may try to get rid of telehealth benefits in the future. More and more therapists are shifting to cash pay only, which sucks for people who aren't rich and work hard to have benefits through their employers.
I imagine we must be the first school ever to send teams to the CFP, MBB Sweet 16, WBB Elite 8, and Frozen 4. Don't have time to do the research, but possibly first school with 3 of the 4 as well?

And if Harbaugh really is thinking of leaving because he felt disrespected by fans last year, then this would be largely the fault of the BPONE crowd who seem to get some sort of weird kick out of it.
