It was supposed to give the schools chances at different opponents among other things. What ND is doing is ending the rivalry almost entirely. Also ND had to agree on the two year break where ND just canceled on their own.

I think the Bears might be a player for him at 20 if he is there and a couple teams after the Bears could take him as well. I'd be very surprised if he fell into the 2nd. But then again, a lot of teams could have a no draft on him with his health and off field problems.

In his book he said something to the extent that he was pissed that Bo didn't tell him he was retiring but he told Ricky and that was a slap in the face for Bettis. Said that showed him that UM wanted Ricky more than him. Again I recommend everyone to take a look at his book. It's very interesting to see how his life was from being little to growing up through football and in the NFL.
