I hope it's true and I hope they go on sale soon. I wasn't a big fan of the shoes being sold yesterday but I loved most of the other shoes that were in the picture being talked about.

For some reason I've always been a Nevada fan. I've never been to the state but I just have enjoyed watching them when they are on at 10:30 on the east coast.

Which means only 37 days until Jordan becomes the official sponsor of Michigan.

If he does in fact choose USC then Ruiz becomes as a very big recruit to get committed. They really need a Center in this class and him and Neilon seemed to be the two biggest names that Michigan has been going after.

I'm sorry but what do you mean "then again, Ricketts?" The Ricketts/Epstein had to build a foundation of scouts, coaches, and front office members just to become on par with most teams in those areas. That doesn't happen overnight. Anyone who critizices how the Ricketts have handled the Cubs since buying the team has no idea what they are talking about. The Tribune left the Ricketts almost nothing and they completely revamped the front office and the entire organization and are now the best team in baseball at this point of the season and will only continue to get better as they have an extrememly young core, the ability to continue to increase payroll, and a great minors system in place. While it is never 100% for a team to win the WS the Cubs are now in a postion where they will extremely good for many years to come.

I was a subscriber of ESPN's WolverineNation and then heard about MGoBlog using that and then canceled my membership and just used this site.

I wouldn't be surprised if some "Michigan" fans were doing something similar. There are idiots and messed up people in all fan bases.

Yea sabermetrics will be the death of baseball alright. The last 5 World Series winners didn't need it... Wait, that's right, every winner since 2010 has been well known to use more advanced sabermetrics than the majority of teams in baseball. Not to mention last year the top 3 regular season teams in the Cubs, Pirates, and Cardinals all use advanced sabermetrics. But no, the death of baseball is here, what will we ever do??

It was completely the right move. The guy has TJ two years ago and going that long this early in the season is not a good idea. The end result sucks and extremely unfortunate, but no reason to keep a pitcher out there just because of a no-hitter this early in the season. Now if this happened 4 or 5 starts into the season then I'd be saying otherwise but not his 1st start. 100% correct decision.

I'm a little late to the party and someone may have already talked about this but what if the NCAA or the conferences had some outside Doctors do a check up on every player who is supposedly unable to play any longer and provide with a second or third opinion to help limit the amount of teams who may be trying to force healthyish players into accepting a medical.

Just a question for everyone that used this model last year. How well did you do in your brackets? I'm planning on using this in at least one of my paid brackets this year but not entirely sure on if I will yet.

I beleive as an analyst he can help coach the players on top of doing all the film and logistics type stuff. I'm not 100% positive on that however.

This is great news. And when Simmons was asked about the lessons he learned from running Grantland and his answer was "Don't do it with ESPN." I've always been a fan of his but that response made me like him even more. Screw ESPN.

I didn't think I could hate ESPN more than I already hated them until I turned that game on. Whoever thought that was a good idea needs to be fired and ridiculed for being an idiot.

Neither Johnson nor Lynch are HOF worthy IMO. Both had the natural talents but they had way too short of careers to be put in.
|28 weeks 3 days ago||Yea I don't want to see him||
Yea I don't want to see him fired at all, but I think Manuel should sit down and talk with him about whats best for the future of Michigan Basketball. They should address first if Beilein should stay on as head coach or he should he "retire", and then if they decide he can get the job done, they need to look critically at the assistant coaches and decide they should look to improve at the those positions. I don't expect nor do I hope that Beilein would ever be outright fired. He has done enough at Michigan to be allowed to resign/retire. Though they need to be critical in their assesment on both Beilein and the other coaches. Can't be soft and say "Oh, well they did a decent job, they shouldn't be fired." We need the best of the best, especially with the resources and money available to the program, and if someone isn't the best then they need to be replaced. Can't accept being mediocore.
|28 weeks 3 days ago||I hate to say this but I||
I hate to say this but I think Michigan should start to talking about replacing Beilein. He has been one helluva coach at Michigan but he has shown an extreme lack of recuriting the top players in the country with the exception of one year, and has for some reason shown to be unable to develop the majority of his players. Yes players like Levert and Burke have made huge strides under Beilein there are far too many players that have failed to improve like DJ Wilson, Chatman, Donnal (He's still way too inconsistent), and Doyle just to name a few. Beilein has been great for Michigan and started the process to make Michigan's basketball good and relevant again after such a long time of terrible play but he has reached his peak here. Outside of two really good years he has been just OK at Michigan. And this program needs more than just OK seasons. With everything Michigan has to offer and the money the program can spend we should constantly be in the top 25 year in and year out.
Sports is a what have you done for me lately business and unfortunately Beilein has not produced to the level needed at Michigan and because of that I believe there should be a change. But don't get me wrong, I can't thank Beilein enough for what he has done at Michigan, he has laid a foundation but now it's time to find someone who can take advantage of that foundation and start to build up.
