I second this.  It is better for Fitz to fully recover so that he doesn't suffer permanent damage from trying to come back too soon.  His next 50 or 60 years are more important than the 2013 season.

Implement the rules of the Pro Bowl for the regular season in terms of what the defense is allowed to do.  It results in a high scoring game with basketball scores but it would be a lot more entertaining than a defense battle.

The key to Denard's success in the NFL is to be drafted by a team that has the patience to develop and maximize his talents rather than one that expects him to contribute right away.  

An ideal situation would be to get drafted by New England and be developed to be the successor to Wes Welker.  He could be catching passes from Tom Brady and Ryan Mallett for the next 10-15 years.  A nighmare scenario would be to get drafted by a team that expects him to contribute right away.

In a way, his dropped balls at the Senior Bowl practices could a a blessing in disguise, because it lowers expectations while allowing him to showcase his athleticism.  He might not get the big paycheck right away, but he could make up for it in a longer career with big paychecks down the road.

~30 sec of the video explains why you started the practice but  ~1:10 of the video is spent promoting Google.  It reminds me of an American Express commercial where a small business owner talks about how the AMEX card is integral to their success.

The other thought that I have about the video is that you may want to emphasize your experience/expertise rather than why you are starting a new practice.  Clients are more concerned about your expertise than why you decided to start your own firm.

April 10 is the NCAA deadline for a player who declares for the draft to withdraw his name and maintain his college eligibility.

April 29 is the NBA deadline for a player to declares for the draft.

Should a player declare any time before April 10, he must pull out by April 10 to maintain his college eligibility.  A player could choose to wait until after the April 10 NCAA deadline and declare before April 29 and still be eligible for the draft but would no longer be eligible to play in college.   

If a player works hard and you don't let him play, he might transfer to somewhere else where he can play.  Then you will have invested a redshirt year developing him for another program.

I wouldn't get your hopes up.  Christian LaCouture lives in College Station and goes to A&M Consolidated HS.  

Getting him to commit to Michigan would be like getting a kid from an Ann Arbor HS with an offer from U-M to commit somewhere else. 

What if you held spots open for the five stars but they commit elsewhere?  In the mean time, the four stars that would have committed to you in February, commit elsewhere while you were waiting for the five stars to decide.

What if one of the five stars that you waited on, commits, but ends up sucking? Or gets injured?  Or gets lured away?

What if the coaches rate a four star player higher than recruiting sites do?  What if the coaches rate a five star player lower than the recruiting sites do?

Bottom line, trust the coaches.  They know a lot more about what they want/need than you do.  They have a lot more at stake than anybody else - their livelihoods depends on it.

This thread is based on the speculation that there was a promise there would only be five OL in the 2013 class.  Unless it can be shown that there was such a promise, this whole thread is baseless.

Losing Myers, Alexander, or Jordan to a head coaching position might not be so bad.  Think of it in the same sense as Brady Hoke going to Ball State and SDSU to gain head coaching experience.  Myers, Alexander, or Jordan would be much better prepared to take over when Beilein retires than if they continue to assistants at U-M.

When Dave Brandon searched for RichRod's replacement, he said that HC experience was one of the requirements.  Could very well be the same when he searches for Beilein's replacement.

When coaches make an offer, do they specify whether the offer is committable vs non-committable?  How is a prospect supposed to know whether an offer is committable or not?  At what point does a non-committable offer become committable?

It would be rather awkward if a coach makes a non-committable offer and a prospect accepts on the spot, only to find out that the offer was non-committable.

As Mr Miggle has pointed out below, U-M does not have a vet school but does have a med school.  If Yannick's criteria is a school with a vet program, we  would be out of consideration.  Hence, he needs to think about being a people doc instead.

It's not just Gardner's skills that have to be taken into consideration.  Hoke is recruiting players that are suited for the West Coast offense.  Borges is not going to delay the transition when he has the players (big WR's, TE's and FB) to run the WC scheme.  He'll probably be moving away from the spread in 2012 as Denard and Gardner are more comfortable running the WC offense.

This Gardner or Morris discussion is sounding a lot like 1998 when red-shirt junior Tom Brady was being challenged by freshman Drew Henson.  We all know how that turned out.

Morris may be the next freshman phenom but Gardner will have been in the program for three years and have practices/game experience that cannot be duplicated at the HS level.

The only bowl money that the B1G loses by Ohio not going to a bowl is the money from the lowest ranked bowl that a B1G team would normally go to.  All eligible teams move up one slot if Ohio is ineligible.  In most cases, teams going to the lowest ranked bowl, this year being the Little Caesar's Bowl ($750K payout), probably would lose money after expenses.  Since the B1G covers the loss, B1G schools could actually come out ahead financially if Ohio doesn't go to a bowl.
