In fact, THE_KNOWLEDGE is actually Greg Mattison. Now that I've disclosed this I know the ban hammer to Bolivia is coming but he obviously KNEW I was going to disclose this here and now and did nothing to stop it.

Guess I'm the only one who cares. I'm barely 40 and in decent shape, and I do spend a good deal of time standing during the game but I love my seat pad. It's official M-den, not the giant 1974 version the blue hairs carry.
In the cold games it keeps my butt warm; during the 7 minute version of the thirty second timeout it keeps my back from aching, in general it serves a purpose.
$35 won't break my bank but when I saw this I was pissed. I voluntarily fork out thousands of dollars to enjoy 7 or 8 football games per year and travel to 3 or 4 away games each year to support Michigan. I love it and it's part of what defines me. Instead of banning seat pads, make the game day better by banning selling tickets to Spartans, Buckeyes, and Cornhuskers but leave me and my ass cushion alone.

Ohio State fans getting the O-H-I-O chant going full bore in our house sure did seem to appreciate it.

Add a petition to revoke season tickets for people who sell their seats to opponents EVERY game. I will sign that one....
|2 years 30 weeks ago||So there is a problem with||
So there is a problem with people being rewarded for being first in line? I don't see anyone getting screwed except someone who wants to show up at half time and still have sweet seats. The student section is the loudest in the stadium but is unfortunately 6th loudest student section in the Big Ten. I've been fortunate enough to stand on the sideline at Penn State (a GA venue) and its downright scary loud. Nebraska, Wisconsin and Ohio State student sections are pretty damn loud too and ALWAYS packed. I sit across the stadium from the student section below the opponent sections and it's embarrassing when our student section is 1/3 empty for kickoff. Show up early = get sweet seats.

What an asshole
|2 years 41 weeks ago||So basically....||
Is he saying the rest of the Big Ten coaches are phoning it in? On the heels of recruiting violations for his school no less? That's like Lance Armstrong accusing other cyclists of being lazy. Maybe he can do a session on "Using Your Health as an Excuse to Bail on Your Team". I didn't dislike him but he just made my list....once I actually get off my ass and actually write those names down.

And to think Notre Dame on the road by 7, Ohio on the road by 5....I don't remember the Bama score but I'm certain we would have beaten them at home..../-S

That's kind of how it felt. Who do you guys see as a rival now? We did expect to win today and the game stayed winnable right up until that last drive but that is all beside the point. If Michigan wins the next 3 is the hatred back? What would it take for you?
|3 years 1 day ago||I'm pretty sure....||
I'm pretty sure jingling keys or a Fake Eddie George sighting will get me out of the OSU mayhem. If that doesn't work just grab someone who looks like your sister and start making out with her...you'll fit right in.
Seriously though, I wear 2 jackets or sweatshirts into the game with my Michigan one on the outside. In the 4th quarter I switch them so my plain gray one is on the outside. Call me what you will but it's kept me alive.
Secondly, if we win, I treat it like when I win an argument with my wife...I keep it to myself until I am safely out of earshot. Good luck, god bless, and go blue.

I think Hoke and Co. can spin winning the Legends division 3 out of every 4 years as a positive for recruiting. Wasn't there also talk about adding a 9th conference game and dropping the non-conference to 3?
|3 years 6 days ago||...and while we're discussing it....||
Why should we hate Ohio? Or slivers and mosquito bites? In fact I think I enjoy being hungry and thirsty too. For someone who asks the question can never understand the answer. I despise ND because every ounce of my souls tells me to. When I see someone in a ND hat or shirt I immediately dislike them and although I am wise enough to know that's irrational, I don't care. ND is not God's team or Ireland's team but rather a perennial fraud who thinks they are the Alpha and Omega of college football....to hell with Notre Dame

I'm hopeful it's a temporary situation. I've passed your tailgate many times and give you huge props for the M-trailer (picturing Gary and Wyatt up all night designing that thing on their bitchin' computer). I noticed what you described but figured it was more a result of the new PDC taking up the entire south side of the blue lot. I (probably being in the minority) like a lot of the changes that seem to be energizing the game day experience. It seem like the Mylanta chugging crowd of the 90s (no offense Herm) is slowly being replaced by a younger, slightly hipper crowd. I can't believe those spots would ever be held for our opponents fans and hopefully you end up surrounded by dedicated rabid fans such as yourselves.

Oregon beats Oklahoma 70-66. Since you already know the outcome will you announce the winner right away or wait for the event to occur? I assume the latter to keep us all from running out to Vegas to profit?

Welcome Mr. Stribling. I'm confident the offer was earned and look forward to see him suit up in the maize and blue. Let 's not become ND and base our greatness on the number of stars in our class. I have a feeling Stribling brings some major weapons to Ann Arbor.
