The lack of an impactful running game, much of which stems from poor/middling offensive line play.

The post-game thread on r/CFB is about 95% filled with fans from teams all over the country--including MSU, ND, and yes even some OSU--talking about how badly the referees screwed Michigan in this game. So this isn't sour grapes, the whole nation knows this was stolen from us.

I had to go to Arborland today for something unrelated and it actually seemed like a normal day. I didn't go anywhere near Briarwood, but if I didn't already know it's Black Friday I wouldn't have been able to tell.

Yeah, you're not supposed to get called for a penalty, but that's never stopped a Big Ten referee before.

I'll be out there, Blast is always a good time (and one of the cheapest ways to attend a game each year).

Upholding a proud tradition. In 1909, 250 to 400 (reports vary) of the crew of the USS Michigan (BB-27), which was docked at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, went to Franklin Field to cheer on Yost's Wolverines as they upset mighty Penn 12-6. Penn was the defending national champion and was on a 23-game winning streak.

They're not awful, but I don't really like the white pants. Also, I'm not sure throwing back to 1974 & 1975 is the best choice, since both years Michigan lost to OSU and finished second in the conference.

Agreed. All-white uniforms need a white helmet as well to look good, such as Texas' road uniforms.

At least in the winter all of the athletes are actually human. Looking at you, dressage.

For Orem, I bet he either wears a Jim McMahon or Steve Young jersey since the town borders Provo and they both played at BYU. He played with McMahon in Chicago and has the Niners connection with Young.

It hurts to say goodbye to yet another great class of Michigan Women. Each class that comes through this great program sets the bar just a little bit higher.

Irving K. Pond left a much greater legacy than scoring the first Michigan touchdown. He became a very successful architect, and his firm Pond and Pond designed and built the student union buildings at Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, and Kansas. On the UM campus they also did the League and the Student Publications Building.

Very occasionally. Oklahoma sometimes has their student band play when they make the WCWS, but Michigan is the only school with a dedicated band. This was the Alumni Band's 19th season playing for Michigan Softball.
Just one more thing that makes this Michigan of ours a special place.

Yup! Jonathan Frakes had a back issue and it was more comfortable for him to sit down that way (he's also quite tall, 6'2" or 6'3"). It's also the reason he was always leaning on things.
