He was down only 6 points in the freaking SuperBowl Retaining posession of the ball still gives him a chance.
Ask Tom Brady and the Patriots if miracle Hail Mary passes at the end of the game don't ever work. Eli manning has one of Tom Brady's rings because of it. Russell Wilson almost had another one.

If he never makes another SuperBowl he will. That's what he'll be remembered for forever.
Hello Scott Norwood and Jackie Smith.

The fact that he did it shows he's a selfish coward.
The fact that he admitted it shows he's a stupid selfish coward.

Dan Marino would have dove for that ball.
In fact, Dan Marino would have dove for that ball, broken his arm, and dove for it again.
Because Dan Marino knows YOU MAY NEVER GET ANOTHER CHANCE AT A FUCKING SUPERBOWL.

Some of our committs are lower-stars that were offered a while ago. They are the faint echo of Harbaugh's recruiting before he realized he could really recruit.
What are the chances their offers stick as committable offers until NSD? Are we really going to see St Juste, Taylor, and Dunaway in a Michgan uniform some day?

We have never consistently out-recruitied Ohio State. Even when we were beating them regularly on the field.
We don't have to wait until we out-recruit them to expect to beat them. We just have to recruit in the ballpark, develop that talent, and put it in a coherent system. Then we will beat Ohio State.
Not every single year, but enough.

Because OSU's coaching change was a blip.
There was not the long slow decline that eats away at recruiting.
Tressel got caught cheating, he got booted, and Meyer came in . . . all over the course of just a couple months. No time for recruiting decline.
And Meyer was not coaching at the time he came in, so he was able to recruit 100% in Dec. and Jan.

Playing tackle football with no helmet and glasses teaches you a lot about heads up tackling. I recommend they do that.

Is Florida #1 based on merit or based on just inertia?
Lauren Haeger was that team last year. Nobody else really stood out prominently on Florida's team when they played Michigan. Without her, Michigan wins the WCWS going away.
Without her this year are they really #1, or are they #1 by lazy habit?
Fortunately, it's pretty much a moot point. We'll know right away when Michigan plays Florida. I hope it is covered on a cable outlet or stream so we can watch it.

There are too many Starbucks in my neighborhood, but that's no concern of mine.
I'm not required to go to all of them.
|17 hours 38 min ago||Aren't spring practice hours||
Aren't spring practice hours limited? If they are practicing during Spring Break, aren't they getting time off elsewhere then?
|17 hours 40 min ago||the best recruits didn't||
the best recruits didn't attend many of the Michigan camps last year
They were a new idea, and Harbaugh was a new coach at 5-7 Michigan.
You'll see a shitload of top recruits at them this year.

Well in fairness, #1 may be stoned.
Apparently all the rest of his teammates were that week.
|17 hours 52 min ago||Yet more publicity for||
Yet more publicity for Harbaugh and Michigan.
He's living in their heads rent-free.
|17 hours 55 min ago||The funniest part of all of||
The funniest part of all of this is that the SEC's ban on satellite camps was to protect themsevles from themselves. It was to keep Miles out of Tuscaloosa and Saban out of Gainesville.
Now in their hissy fit, they are about to open Pandora's box.
Harbaugh and Meyer and Frankiln will go down there for a day or two and that will be the end of it. But now because of their fragile egos, their coaches will be living in each other's shorts all summer long.
You're welcome, SEC.

|18 hours 20 min ago||The SEC needs to be a little||
The SEC needs to be a little more concerned about their bagmen taking some time off.
|18 hours 28 min ago||OK, I'm going to just come||
OK, I'm going to just come out and say it: The man is fucking crazy.
|18 hours 35 min ago||No problem. I just copied it||
No problem. I just copied it all into Notepad, fixed the line breaks, and coipied it back. Sometimes it's the best way to "wash off all the old formatting" and get it to show up again clean.

Of course he is.
|18 hours 38 min ago||Wow, that's pretty unusual||
Wow, that's pretty unusual that all three of us have the same OOC opponent.
Oh, wait . . .
|19 hours 22 min ago||We've never had an easy time||
We've never had an easy time at Kinnick, going all the way bak to Bo. That should be a game that gets everyone's attention.
|19 hours 49 min ago||I would rather see our bye||
I would rather see our bye week after MSU, but it's not too bad where it is. It's a little bit early.
|19 hours 54 min ago||I actually wanted to read it,||
I actually wanted to read it, but I couold not take the eye-bleed any more.
Here it is for human consumption:
9/24 Penn State
10/29 at MSU
11/12 at Iowa
11/26 at OSU
9/17 at Notre Dame
11/26 at Penn State
9/17 at Oklahoma
10/15 at Wisconsin
10/22 at Penn State
11/19 at MSU
General Observations - Michigan has the clear edge in ease of games in OOC scheduling but travels to OSU and MSU with a tricky game at Iowa for a cross over.
Michigan’s bye is perhaps best if you desire a mid-season bye to heal up and regroup.
OSU plays at Oklahoma in their OOC and plays both Wisconsin and Nebraska in their cross over games.
MSU plays both Notre Dame and BYU in OOC and Wisconsin in their cross over. Gets to play Michigan and OSU at home.
(Sidenote - So both MSU and Michigan play their biggest BIG10 east rivals home or away on varying years. Why Delaney? Why?)
Commonalities – All play each other, Penn State, Indiana, Rutgers, and Maryland.
|20 hours 38 min ago||Harbaugh downplayed the Bo||
Harbaugh downplayed the Bo "We do something every week to prepare for Ohio State" approach, but I hope he takes it to heart now.
I'm sure he and Brown had some pretty interesting discussions about how Michigan will stop Ohio State.

OP, don't just lift the hem of your skirt two inches and then walk away.
We're sailors returning from sea here.
|20 hours 50 min ago||My God, that was a phenomenal||
My God, that was a phenomenal class. We had the #1 or #2 recruit in the nation in something like 5 different positions.
It was pre-Rivals, so it does not get the publicity it should.
And, as I recall, all of those players worked out. There were no busts. It is essentially the core of the team that beat Alabama in the Orange Bowl.
|22 hours 19 min ago||OSU. We have not won there||
We have not won there since 2000. We are due. You will want to be a part of that epic moment when we do.
I was at the 1986 "Harbaugh Guarantee" game at OSU when we won the game and the Big Ten. One of my favorite Michigan memories of all time. I made it a point to go out to midfield and dance on the big "O" after the game.

|22 hours 27 min ago||Agreed. We lost out on guys||
Agreed. We lost out on guys that we would have gotten had Harbaugh been here a year longer.
The only thing Harbaugh has to worry about is not taking guys too early.
