The same thing is likely to happen to ND.  I'm not saying they'll go 5-7, but they won't go undefeated or even have only one loss.

Had Michigan won the basketball NC this year, we would be the only school with multiple National Championships in each of the big 4 major sports of football, basketball, baseball, and hockey.
1 day 9 hours ago	Nobody may show up to	Nobody may show up to watch it, but IMO, the 2014 schedule is really not that bad from a difficulty point of view.  Yes the four hardest opponents - ND, MSU, NW, OSU - are all on the road, but they are broken up very nicely.   We have App State at home before we go on the road to ND, we have a Bye before MSU, we have Indiana before NW, and we have a bye then MD before OSU.  We also don't play Nebraska or Wisconsin.     I would argue that this year's schedule is actually harder.  We don't play all our toughest opponents on the road, but we have to play them all back to back in November.

You can't just give them a voucher for a future flight for the biggest game of the year.
