Yea, and it's not even just a football thing it's a Sparty thing in general. Kinda like the floor slapping in basketball. I noticed #18 who was doing the most shit talking and taking dumb penalties is now out with an injury. The football gods obviously didn't approve of his skylarkings.
It's impossible not to laugh at the Sparty players. Up a TD on Furman in the 4th quarter, dancing and celebrating first down catches and tackles for loss.
Personally I'd rather go to the shoe than the east landfill trash tornado. Never been to the shoe but got assaulted in the first quarter by a white trash sparty fan in the landfill.
Didn't see too many people saying Ahmir Mitchell. I think he's going to be very special. Great size & build for an incoming frosh WR and plenty of speed to go along with it.
Yea as someone who's played hockey at a relatively high level, that's NOTHING. This is something you see on a regular basis in juniors, usually with a half shield too instead of a full fish bowl. It's part of the game and always has been. If you can't take it, watch basketball....
I've seen nothing about him going pro but I have seen a lot of talk about him going to the OHL's London Knights. The people who are saying these things are pretty reputable Canadian hockey sources. I really hope he sticks with Michigan but I'm genuinely nervous. London just traded to get Sonny Milano from Flint, who was Werenski's teammate at the WJC and the rumor is that London already feels that they have both guys in the fold.

I especially loved Cook running over to shoosh the crowd after the game. You know..the game he had zero part in...Say what you will about the guys potential as a QB but he looks and acts like the biggest douchebag I've ever seen wearing a spartan jersey. That's saying something too.

I graduated from DeLaSalle in 2008 and am extremely glad I did. Having said that, I wouldn't send my kids there. It WAS a great school, until the current principle took over and ran it into the ground with his narcissism. If and when I have kids I would send them to either Catholic Central or Ligget. I'm an east sider and would still prefer the long drive to Novi over sending my son to LaSalle if I were to go the parochial route.

Toronto is a realistic landing spot for Babcock it's YOU who is delusional.
First of all Toronto is the laughing stock of the NHL and has one of the most insatiable and predatory media markets in sports. Second, you obviously don't know much about the relationship between Babcock and Shanahan...to put it lightly, they're not big fans of one another. Third, not even Babcock could turn what Toronto has into a winning team let alone build a consistent winning culture.
They have no goalies, brutal defense, not a single useful forward beside JVR and Kessel, and no future stars save for maybe Morgan Reilly. That entire organization, along with the Toronto sports media, is a downright disgrace to hockey and Uncle Mike isn't going to ride in on his white stag and put the fire out any time soon.

He's got a young team full of potential and one of the most stable and high quality upper managment teams in the game. Glenny is a beast. I never really expected him to stick around with the NHL club but he's proven all the doubters wrong and has become a very important piece of this team now and in the future. He's got so much heart and toughness, always keeps his legs churning. The Wings haven't had a guy who can muck and grind like him since the Grind Line days.
I know this should go without saying but wow, Larkin is a really special player. This kid is a gem. Love seeing him in maize and blue and can't wait to see him in the winged wheel.
