but maybe this is not necessarily a football move? maybe he legitimately loved michigan, didn't want to play for harbaugh anymore (or realized he wasn't going to get to play) and just wants to come back to ann arbor to finish his degree and be around his brother?
this hypothesis has no basis in reality and is almost definitely incorrect, but jason forcier transferring to try and play football for one year doesn't really make sense either.
