I know what you mean. My friends uncle at Bauer, Dunham & Barr used to do the designs for the tickets and the cover of the Gameday Program. A few years ago they started doing both in house.
More disappointing to me was last year when they did ONE single Gameday Program opposed to a different one for each home game. I would print a stat page after the games and put that in the program with the ticket stub. I have a collected a few boxes of those over the years.
Thanks for the insite on the the Goldbelly shipped Franklin BBQ. I’ve been wanting to try that but it’s a boatload. I see just under $270 for 4.5- 5lbs. Ps, I’ll have to try Ricewood I guess.
Never really realized how big Owen Power is until we attended the home Hockey game vs. Niagara the night before “the Game”. 6’5” 214lb Power next to his fellow blue liner 5’9” 160lb Nick Blankenburg was an eye opener. He truly is a man among boys. Hope him and Portillo both do well win Buffalo.
Down for the hockey game on Friday, staying in Brighton both nights. Hit the usual spots downtown(Literati, Vault of Midnight, MDen, Blank Slate, Rock Paper Scissors) grab some lunch, then walk to the game.
I know what you mean. I ran into Tony Mandarich at the Meijer’s in Traverse City in the mid nineties. Dude was a monster. Probably 6’6” close 350 at the time.

We stayed in Saugatuck about 20 years ago on the way down to the Northwestern vs Michigan football game In Evanston. All I remember we ate at Toulouse and stayed at a hotel where the owner had a pet corgi. Also, it was about 70 degrees the first of NOVEMBER.
Grew up about half a mile from Boone’s Long Lake Inn here in TC. I’ve eaten hundreds of NY Strips there. Never had a bad one. Morton’s in Schaumburg, IL and Ruth’s Chris in GR are right up there for me. Mode’s Bum Steer here in town is solid also.
Graduated Traverse City Central 89’. Won Class A titles in 1978, 1985, 1988. Sent 3 guys from my class to UofM in 88/89’. Josh Wuerful, Mike Nadlicki, Mark Burkholder.
Currently Executive Chef at Traverse City St. Francis Division 7 titles 1992, 1999, 2003, 2005, 2008, 2009) Fed Joe Kerridge(UofM), all 3 Bullough boys(MSU), Matt Zakrzewski(Indiana Hoosiers).
September 28, 1996 UCLA, in the student section. 38-9 Michigan win. Caught Colorado, Notre Dame, and Iowa wins the following year, the 1997 Championship season. At least one game every year since then. Finally got ahold of season tickets in 2015.

Shea didn’t play crap in the first half, our receivers need to hold on to the ball. We supposedly have 3 NFL bound receivers compared to Penn State’s 1. Yet they were hitting on all their big passes. Penalties and dropped balls led to us getting down 21-0. With the exception of his first pass Shea was throwing balls that should have been caught. Lay off the Shea bashing, you’re not helping.
I have the speedy rewards credit card also. I agree it’s the best one I’ve found. I sand bagged over 200000 points and got a $200 gas card and a $100 over the last year. Often get big bonus points for frequent shopper. Helps that we have a store half a block from our house and it’s right on my way to work.
