| 4 weeks 5 days ago | Tempe |
Just moved to Tempe (about a mile from Mill Ave) two days ago for a summer internship, and now that ASU is the subject, do you guys have any recommendations on restaurants or bars? I don't know anyone out here so just looking to go out and try new things |

So what are the actual chances that Massington would commit to us? Also, I have not heard Joe Mathis' name in a long time. Does anyone know what happened with him and if we are still pursuing him? |

So with Navarre, Henne, and Leach, along with Denard, can we mandate Michigan quarterbacks can only choose from #7 or #16? Shane, sorry in advance. |

I just moved to Kent (living right off campus) about 3 weeks ago for a Co-Op from June to December and it's cool to see a small local team from your "hometown" doing this well on the big stage. Go Flashes! |

Could the reason for Kalis being at RT so that he is the future blindside tackle for Shane Morris? Plus he has a better shot of seeing playing time earlier behind Schofield instead of Lewan. |

In order to gain more exposure, I obviously posted this when there will be a lot of traffic through the site. Why would I do it during a slow time when not as many people will read the board? |

You have got to be kidding me. You are right I have never heard of them either. "In college, we'd start every season against Appalachian State or some slack Division II team." That must be the reasoning behind this... /s |

Yeah, they have James, Barner, 5star freshman D'Anthony Thomas, and then they may even have other players before him on the depth chart. |

An article behind a paywall about new hirings who will be writing for the site behind a paywall...how cruelly ironic... |
| 1 year 44 weeks ago | He goes to Canton. I know it |
He goes to Canton. I know it is confusing since Plymouth, Canton, and Salem are 3 schools on one "campus", but It is very difficult to explain. I went to Canton, so it is very cool to hear about a recruit from your high school potentially coming to Michigan. Also, just FYI, Brennan Beyer was at the same "campus" but he went to Plymouth. If you want to understand what I mean by "campus", it is called the Park, and you can read about it below: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCEP |

| 1 year 44 weeks ago | Liverpool is a terrible |
Liverpool is a terrible choice, and I would say that Manchester United is more like Michigan. First of all, while you know that Liverpool and Everton are in the "Merseyside", clearly you have never been there. Downtown Liverpool is nice, but you have to take a bus to get to the stadium (about 20 minutes away). You also have to take a bus to get to Old Trafford, but the difference is that Trafford is a very nice area of Manchester, while Liverpool's stadium is straight in the ghetto, unlike Michigan (trust me, I've been there). It is also less than a ten minute walk from Everton's stadium which you compared with MSU. While that comparison is fair, a better example is for MSU would Manchester City. Manchester City would easily be considered United's "Little Brother", and only recently in the past couple years (cough cough MSU) have they been good. Trust me, United is a better comparison for Michigan than Liverpool. And besides, you wouldn't want to be rooting for that Scouse accent, would you? |
| 1 year 44 weeks ago | I agree with the all of the |
I agree with the all of the posters already . You should watch some games, and pick out which team stands out to you. You should definitely pick a club that will at least finish in the top half of the table (standings), even if it is one of the big four. As for my team, I am proud to say that I am huge Red Devils fan (Manchester United). I first started liking them when I played FIFA 06 when they had Christiano Ronaldo. But last semester I studied abroad in Manchester, England, and I went to the United vs. Aston Villa game on Feb. 1 where United won 3-1. Vidic scored once, and Rooney scored twice, where the whole stadium chanted "ROO-NEY!" ROO-NEY!" That game was easily one of the best experiences of the semester, and the atmosphere was insane. While the stadium (Old Trafford) is smaller than the Big House, it was louder and everyone was chanting and yelling. I also went to bar/pub and watched a few matches with the English friends I made, and it truly made the experience. I also did a stadium tour of Old Trafford, and touched the grass (the whole EPL has to use real grass FYI). My stadium tour was on February 6th, which also happened to be the same day of the Munich Air Disaster. Perfect timing, since there is a memorial outside the stadium where about 100 people came for a moment of silence and put flowers by the memorial. Like the above poster said, Manchester United is full of history, and that is truly what makes the club so great. I also saw the stadiums of Manchester City, Liverpool, and Everton. Good luck finding a team, and make sure you stick with them! Glory Glory Man United! |

No surprise once he said he was announcing this soon. Wish him the best of luck, and glad that PSU is in the other division. They are bringing in a quality class. |
| 1 year 44 weeks ago | Sorry if this has been |
Sorry if this has been explained before, but is there a reason that we didn't try to get both Pipkins and Schutt? Even if they both play the same DT position, I feel that DT is where we can afford to get as much depth as possible if both are willing to commit with each other. |
| 1 year 44 weeks ago | No one that I know has gotten |
No one that I know has gotten them yet, but I assume they should be coming very soon. I wonder how many students try to tell their ND tickets just to make money, and I am even more interested to see what the asking price will be. |

Can we please pull Brendan Gibbons scholarship if I hasn't been done already? We dont need 3 scholarship kicking specialists (gibbons, hagerup, wile) and we could put the scholarship towards one of those "bums" or another 2012 prospect. |

I hate to speculate on this kind of thing but i don't know who would back out except for maybe T-Rich. If T-Rich does back out, then we will definitely have room for Yuri. The coaches said they want another one regardless, but unless they plan on reneging one of the commitment's verbals, then I don't see how we can fit all of these players. Maybe this is a good problem to have though. |
| 1 year 44 weeks ago | Final 4 |
I really like how this 2012 class is filling out. My dream finish of the last four spots are Dunn, Darboh, Payton, and Garnett. My fifth choice would be O'Brien, then with Diamond if we don't land Garnett. Any four of those I would go absolutely bananas (in a good way). |
| 1 year 45 weeks ago | Pipeline to Oaks Christian |
I think Payton would be a huge get for us for many reasons. For one, he and Darboh are the two receivers that I most want. But besides the obvious need for receivers, I think Payton also helps us more in future recruiting. He goes to Oaks Christian, which has put out many D1 prospects the past few years and this could be huge in getting a pipeline to that talent-rich school for future recruits. |
| 1 year 45 weeks ago | If there are apparently no |
If there are apparently no silents DT commits, then my simple question is WHY not at least let the kid visit? If there is a good reason then I will understand, but as of right now I am very confused as to why they wouldn't let one of the best DT prospects even visit when he wants to. |
| 1 year 45 weeks ago | Was that so hard? | |
| 1 year 46 weeks ago | Very good point, but I don't |
Very good point, but I don't know where else I could pose a question like that without potential recruits being able to see it. I mean they are judged by all of the recruiting analysts for all of the recruiting services, so I thought that fans' opinions would mean even less to them than strenghts and weaknesses by scouts. But then again, I don't know shit. Sorry to steal your line, but it is just too damn good not to use. |
| 1 year 46 weeks ago | So with all the possibilities |
So with all the possibilities at receiver, how does everyone rank them in order of preference? There are many possibilities and I myself seem to get them mixed up from time to time, but I am interested to see how everyone else ranks these WRs we have a chance at getting. |

Is there a reason 2013 Dymonte Thomas isn't coming to the BBQ? Seems like he wouldl be a huge get for 2013 and not to mention could potentially help land Dunn, so I am curious why he isn't coming to the BBQ. Maybe it was explained elsewhere but I didn't catch it. |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | For eveybody saying that we |
For eveybody saying that we could have used a scholarship on another postion because we are tight on scholarships, look at USC (CA). They can only accept 15 commitments this year, and even so, they have a commitment for a FB. Not saying that we need to be just like them, but I'm just making a point that if a FB is an important part of your offense, then it is worth it to get a good FB. |
