Though not a fan of the impacts on recruiting continuity that a portal transfer brings to this position, I love this thought.  My god it would be sweet.  Thanks for the pure evil intent.

I am looking for 4 tickets to the BGSU game.  Hosting family that wants to visit the Big House.  ccornedog(at)yahoo.com.

Swing by the house and "validate" on my local network, and you can connect to my OTA DVR (Tablo) remotely from then on.

That'll at least get you the games that are broadcasted here locally in SE Michigan.

When I have to travel, it's my go to for the hometown football games.  A sure thing for the Lions, and a good amount of Wolverines games.

Whew!  Taking my 9 year old to his first basketball game.  Section 103.  He plays his game at the Y in Monroe at 10..going to have to boogey to get there but I think he'll be excited.  He doesn't know yet.

See Y'all there!

1 - I think 1 week gets him back to where he was Saturday...available, capable but likely to have the ankle sit him down.

2 - Same as we see now, except the expectation for JJ will be more downfield throws.  Cade will be the starter, JJ will have more highlights.

3 - Denard...When he was just a student with the kids at Crisler, he cemented himself all the more as my favorite.  David Molk... Tough SOB.  Jordan Kovacs...Suck it Herbstreit, this kid balled out and played in the NFL.

4 - I have to defer, I've been burning the DVR down and haven't paid attention.

5 - For a long time, football for me has been over once the leftover turkey is gone.  If our next game was the Citrus, Alamo, Orange or Music City FFS(!), I would be all in since they would have followed a win against that godfersaken program.  Anything after a loss to Ohio is like football with a big pack of give-a-shit-desiccant added in.  Playing in the B1G Championship with a chance at fixing the shared national title bullshit, all after beating those mother fuckers, I cannot calm down.  Go Blue

I've had two, both on the right shoulder.  Before the first, my arm would just fall out of joint.  I'd wake up with it out of joint.  First surgery was an arthroscopic capsular shift.  I think it was pretty new procedure back then (1993), at least it was for the military docs.  I know it was a new thing to the physical therapist!  She pulled my arm out of joint on the first rehab appointment, twice!  That surgery wasn't successful.

The second surgery was a couple of years later.  It was an open surgery.  Docs said it was pretty difficult to get my wing situated for the procedure because every time they picked up my arm, it would dislocate.  He said he's only seen shoulders like mine from car accidents and falls from heights.

Compared to the first, this one was successful.  My arm doesn't dislocate anymore.  I also cannot throw hard overhand and my right arm is shorter than my left arm by about 1/2" now.

Before the surgeries, my right arm was a real problem.  Knowing the limitations I've had post surgery, I wouldn't recommend the repair unless the arm really limits you now.

I had a duty day on my submarine that day.  We were in port in Norfolk where UVA was the "hometown" team.  I talked so much crap before the game!  Every time I came through the mess deck I took a ration of shit from the guys about the game.  I was able to watch the last quarter.  That was sweet!  Oh how I wish kids now could be as confident about an opener as I was then.

IMMU

I bought a small position in 2010, took my seed money when the stock price doubled in 2013 and held the rest.  Today it is up 525% from the time I bought it.  I'm still gambling that it will move 2x higher.  So it's my favorite until it isn't!  The run up and optimism is based on their drug for treating metastatic triple negative breast cancer for starters, then other solid cancer indications beyond that.  The company submitted their application to the FDA a couple of days ago for this new drug, so end of July should be interesting.

Should there be a problem, radiation exposure could be reduced by three factors: Time, Distance and Shielding.

The desert provided one of those, Distance.

So, it's where the DOE/USN built their first nuclear plant prototypes and subsequently trained future operators.  The training has been moved elsewhere since, but all the spent fuel from the Navy nuclear fleet is still being stored there.

Watched this game with a Notre Dame fan

I was still in training in the Navy, stationed in Idaho.  Another squid, from Chicago, was my roommate - really cocky ex HS QB type.  It was a great game to watch and enjoy a roommate smack down!

Shallow South?

There are so many labels applied to regions of the United States, but assuredly Shallow South is not one of them.  A common label for the area loosely defined by Northeast Arkansas, Southwest Missouri, West Tennessee, North Mississippi and North Alabama would be Mid South.

One can find themselves getting deeper into "the south" by moving north, say into Appalachia from the Piedmont.  The area just north of Huntington WV in Ohio would feel to be more "southern" than Winston Salem NC.

Labels like south or deep south seem to be a "nice" way of saying "not like me" or "really not like me", respectively.
