"Though I received no official response to these sophisticated and elegant tweets to the Illini Athletic Department, I would like to think that Beckman spent the evening prank calling everyone in Illinois named George McLellan and then ordering an absurd amount of hats off an internet haberdashery to hoard in his home's hat annex."

Graham Glasgow could turn into that type of player. Obviously too soon to tell, but he's a solid contributor and will likely play five years.

I think York burned his redshirt. I seem to recall him getting some PT against CMU.

Mine is coming up at the end of the month or early April and I'm freaked out. Tore my meniscus too.

Or as my wife calls it, the "post bang".

Seth - do you have this chart with the cost of each sport too? I wonder how close LAX and hockey are to break-even.

the sorting hat put that guy in Gryffindor.

Is huge in person. That guy should be a beast on the boards next year.
|5 weeks 4 days ago||Establish residency?||
Could you move to the area for a year and go to a local comminity college to establish residency? It's kind of a wacky idea but may 1) save some cost and 2) ease the admission process.
I was not accepted out of high school and went to EMU for one year before transferrng over for my degree. I found that I was easily accepted after a semester at EMU compared to the gut wrenching process of getting deferred (and ultimately not admitted) out of high school.

|8 weeks 4 days ago||Thanks for the answer.||
I guess they really can't change that since they keep score on percentage of correct picks.
|8 weeks 4 days ago||Technical reason?||
Is that because once a player commits to a school one cannot select that school for the Crystal Ball?
|8 weeks 5 days ago||Competition!||
We need more competition at RB next fall: Green, Smith, Johnson look to be it. Rawls seems to have fallen on hard times (or something?) and I recall Borges or Hoke saying that Hayes is destined for the slot. Another RB would be great for competition.
|9 weeks 6 days ago||Curious||
What do you see as the maximum potential wins for this team? In other words, based on your statement, do you expect Hoke not to meet your 9-win threshold for next season?
Personally, I feel 10 wins is the max with the road games. I will also gladly take that. I also feel 7-6 is a possibility. The latter would be a large disappointment and would almost require Brandon fire Hoke.
|9 weeks 6 days ago||I don't disagree||
My point was the coach who gets the offense in 2015 will inherit an experienced line. Be it Borges/Funk or another combo. It has been shown on this site that upperclassmen-led offensive lines generally out performs those that are not.
|9 weeks 6 days ago||Rock and hard place for Borges/Funk||
Inexperienced line in 2014. If they do poorly, Borges/Funk may be (should be) fired and someone else will inherit an experienced line.

If your near Ford Road you can hit up the White Castle.

In a little bit of time, that's for sure.
|10 weeks 4 days ago||Basketball Tearing||
For me, the straw that broke the camel's back was the basketball game against Minnesota where our jerseys tore multiple times. Time for change.

I am lucky. My three year old slept in!
|10 weeks 6 days ago||Glasgow, Funchess||
One could argue that Gallon got good under Rich Rod, but Glasgow and Funchess were both much improved over the season. Funchess moved out to WR but still the coaches had to decide to do that. Glasgow was a walk on that is now a versatile part of the interior line. He has issues snapping the ball, but much of the consternation on the line was with the guards. I’m no Borges lover, but it has to do with scheme at this point as I think many of the players have come out okay while most need more time to evaluate fairly.

Raymon Taylor, Brendan Gibbons, Desmond Morgan, Graham Glasgow, Jake Butt

If I'm going to plan an expensive last minute trip to a bowl game, it better be a big game. This is not. Also a rare late December weekend where the Friday before and the Monday after are work days for many of us.
Plus StubHub drives ticket prices way down.

I remember at one point it seemed he was a lock to Michigan. Seems a lot like the Treadwell timeline except for the alleged shade. A gradual parting of ways.
Northwestern will get a solid talent that will improve their D.

Using a metric. Then lock down. In that case...
|12 weeks 21 hours ago||247 Composite||
I think these went away because the 247 Composite does essentially the same thing. Why do double work?
|12 weeks 1 day ago||Glee club, no band||
That's what I've noticed when I go. The glee club sings the anthem and maybe a few other songs. Last year they did not have the play-by-play over the loudspeakers like they did previously, which was much better.
|12 weeks 1 day ago||Should be a game||
QB and OL/DL depth should be okay to make it a game one would think. Last year was rough because Shane wasn't on campus and Bellomy had just been hurt. This year we'll have four scholarship QBs plus Cleary and Sweica.
If not I'm going by myself because I can't handle the complaining by my family about it not being a game.
