It's a preemption.

A fine winter beer.

Wishing you all the best for a full recovery.

Nike supplies OSU's gear as well.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||I've always liked Devin||
Sure, I could be critical of his play (maybe a bit unfairly from time to time), but I've always been impressed by his character and his resilience. He could have left Michigan for another school - and who would have blamed him, in retrospect? - but stayed here and did everything that was asked of him.
And just when you think you've seen enough, he does something like this. That's the Michigan Difference.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||It's not just today's youth||
I don't think the young people of today are any less empathetic than any generation that preceded them. The issues this article raises go back a very, very long time.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||Re rape culture||
It's a charged term, to be sure, but I can't think of any story I've read in recent memory that illustrates how it works better than this article. It works on so many levels here: the "friends" who showed no empathy for Jackie and were more worried about their social lives, the guy who brought her there who acted afterward like nothing wrong had happened, and the institutional practices that served to conceal the extent of the problem, among other things.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||It's a horrible story||
But, if you can bring yourself to do so, you should read it. It's a very powerful story and something that more people should know about.
|4 weeks 5 days ago||I don't get too upset about this kind of thing||
A player has to do what he feels is best for his future. If Weber thinks going somewhere other than Michigan is the best move, then I respect that.
At the same time, if a player doesn't want to play for Michigan, fine. We'll find someone else to replace him.
|4 weeks 5 days ago||He will, though.||
There's at least one more game we'll have to live through before he gets the firm handshake.
|8 weeks 4 days ago||What's funny||
The same opposing fans who laughed at Michigan for having Rodriguez as head coach are now laughing at Michigan for firing him, as if that was their position all along.
|8 weeks 4 days ago||Agreed||
No need for that shit.
|9 weeks 6 days ago||A guy I once knew||
He said pretty much the same about Notre Dame: "Everyone I know who went to Notre Dame was a dickhead. In fact, I think they have a checkbox on their application that says, 'I am a dickhead' and if you don't check it, you don't get in."
|10 weeks 2 days ago||Glad you said something||
Stuff like, "the women would be worse" (how exactly?) is really not very mature. I hope he grows out of it.
|10 weeks 4 days ago||Not only that||
|10 weeks 4 days ago||They were okay||
I like the traditional home uniform better, but this was okay. The blue pants were kinda cool. I didn't like the number font or the stripes.
|11 weeks 2 days ago||This||
The same people who were all like, "I hope Michigan keeps Rodriguez for years because he sucks" are now saying, "Boy, Michigan was stupid to fire Rodriguez! I hope they keep Hoke for years to come!"
|11 weeks 5 days ago||Uh...||
Did I miss something here?
|11 weeks 5 days ago||Hoke's not going anywhere||
Brandon's behind him. That'll be enough until at least the end of the season.
|11 weeks 5 days ago||I'd be surprised||
He's going to get the whole season.
|12 weeks 3 days ago||Here's what I don't get||
Disclaimer: I don't think Brady Hoke is evil and I'm for giving him a fair chance to explain the situation.
That said, I don't get the "I assume so" answer. It seems to me that that's something he should have known by the time the decision was made to put Morris back on the field. Now let's give Hoke the benefit of the doubt and say that he trusts his staff to make the right decisions on the sideline and doesn't feel the need to ask questions. Couldn't he have confirmed after the game what attention Morris received?
|12 weeks 4 days ago||I'm sure||
I'm sure this is exactly what Schlissel wants to deal with tomorrow morning.
|12 weeks 4 days ago||He won't address it||
Based on how I've seen him address reaction to things he's done as AD, I don't expect him to say anything. The official line will come from Hoke.
|12 weeks 4 days ago||You may be on to something here||
I don't trust Brandon to fire Hoke any earlier than the end of the season, if at all. Brandon himself looks pretty well entrenched: the Athletic Department has made money and influential donors are behind him (at least at first glance).
|12 weeks 4 days ago||Always liked Kinsler||
Decent bat, can steal bases, and brings much-needed quality fielding to the Tigers.
|12 weeks 4 days ago||I looked up the rules||
At least the 2013-14 rules. I doubt it's changed.
On page FR-50: "Article 4. When timeouts are not exhausted, an official shall allow a charged timeout when requested by any player or head coach when the ball is dead."
|12 weeks 4 days ago||If the rumored argument||
If the rumored argument between Nussmeier and Hoke is true, I wonder if the Morris situation had something to do with it.
|12 weeks 4 days ago||Along with the ten men on the field||
...when Utah took that punt to the house. These are basic things any competent staff should be able to handle at any level of organized football and certainly at a major college program. There's a pattern here, and it doesn't look good for the staff.
|12 weeks 5 days ago||I have zero confidence in Brandon||
Right now, based on what I've seen, I have no confidence that Brandon will fire Hoke before the season ends. I would like to be wrong about this, but my first impression is that Brandon will try to spin this and keep Hoke. Hoke is Brandon's guy, and Brandon will try to prop him up.
