I think that it all depends if its one-sided or not. If both teams are going at each other recklessly then there may be a bit more let go. If one team is deliberately taking shots at another the refs typically try and control the other team (semi-happened with lots of penalties)

I don't have enough points to start a board post, but it seems there has been new developments with Mitch McGary. On scout, his interest for Michigan is now listed as high with the other teams still lurking at medium.

Also, (I'm not premium so haven't seen the actual article or material from it) Evan Daniel from scout posted a link to a McGary article on twitter. The responses on twitter to the article seem to imply the article discussed something along the lines of Michigan out in front.

I know, at least to me, that this story was eye opening. A lot of times we look and see players are ineligible and think the worst about them. We never really know the real story until something like this comes out. I look forward to seeing him play (if he ever gets the chance)
