I like home improvement shows more than house flipping/buying shows. Holmes on Homes, Trading Spaces, Christopher Lowell Show (oddly all shows that weren't on HGTV) were some of my favorite shows because they gave ideas on how to improve my house or fix it up.
My other issue is that they focus too much on the people and not the house. Property Brothers is boring because I think the brothers are too much a part of the show. Same for Love It or List It.
I can't believe I've turned into a "Get off my lawn" person in regards to home improvement shows.

He wanted to make a public gesture and was told that putting a name on the building was University policy, so not his request. But he did want to do something publicly in support of diversity.
My only issue is why does he need to do something publicly? The Bush family (yes that Bush family) have been longtime donors to Howard University (an HBCU). You would never know it because they don't request publicity. I guess not everyone is the same, but as a regent, I think there is probably something he can do in that capacity if he only wants to show public support for diversity.

I'd start to slide and get 10 yards in .5 seconds. Definitely helped when my tackle game was subpar early on.

I'm saving my money for Indy and the bowl games. I'm probably in the minority here, but as long as we're winning, I could care less about the apparel and jerseys. Leave the helmet alone, and I'm happy.

Charlotte is the second largest financial center in the US. If Bank of America, Wells Fargo, etc are faced with boycotts, laws will change. Politicians will always answer to money and if the money walks, they know their jobs will also. One weekend loss of revenue, especially the NBA ASG is not enough to move them.

There must have been a drawing contest at Notre Dame Elementary to come up with the rest of those uniforms.

That's the only reason. A reasonable person would not be crazy about road games at MSU, Iowa and OSU. How many teams, not named Alabama, roll through three top 15 teams on the road? Maybe losing only one of those three games gets us to the B1G title game and the CFP, especially if it's Iowa, but it's not that easy of a path without a known quantity starting at QB.

Go buy a used copy of the game and visit this site to download updated rosters, plus coaches:
Odds are that even if EA continued pumping out the video game, the only major upgrade would be the CFP. If you are brave and want to mod the game, this link will direct you towards building a 4-team playoff or even an 8-team playoff. Once I wean myself off MLB 16 The Show (Greatest baseball game ever IMO), I am going to try this out.

I love the fact that I can draft Rashan Gary onto the Lions and actually win a Super Bowl.
Plus, I think the rosters in the EA Lockers are better than what the game produces.

Makes sense since you have suburbs of NYC and Philly in New Jersey. But I never thought about it until someone posted a chart this week that showed where the current NFL players are from. NJ has more NFL players than MI.
And NJ players have represented well in our conference. Ron Dayne came from NJ.
Here's a list from last summer of the top NJ players in the B1G.

I'm pretty confident that the kid will commit, but that makes it even more imperative that we crush it on the field this year so these kids get bluer with each win.

I thought that all 247 did was a composite from all the recruiting services.

Reflection: I'm happily married, but I had a chance to date a high school crush that was a couple years younger than me when I was 18. I passed, primarily because I thought she was borderline nuts. Now she's a model in California with her high school figure while 40 weeks pregnant.
Mini-regret: I had an opportunity to become a postal inspector about a year after graduating from UM. It was right after 9/11 so I was determined not to deal with Anthrax on a daily basis. I'd be staring at retirement before turning 50, with three months of vacation time each year before that.

If for any other reason so that the rivalry games can be better. Miami-FSU and UT-Alabama used to be some great, classic games. I'd love to see U-Dub be competitive with Oregon again.
And Nebraska/OU and Texas/A&M are rivalry games that need to come back.
|4 days 11 hours ago||I think he's watching Indiana vs Purdue||
Not UM vs Indiana or UM vs Purdue. Yes, he has a problem. He needs the B1G Media Days or a commitment badly.
This is also about the time that NCAA Football would come out to prevent someone from having to watch dumpster fire football. I should be going home tonight to figure out why EA only rated Rashan Gary an 81 overall.
Thanks Ed O'Bannon.

No politics, no religion, yes autobots. This truly is bizarro Internet over here.
|4 days 23 hours ago||That's why Texas is in the situation they're in||
They have Baylor, TCU and Texas A&M all on the same level with just as much exposure as the Longhorns. I'd be happy if Cincy went to the Big 12 and one or a couple Ohio MAC schools moved to the AAC.

Considering he has B1G in his blood (born in Youngstown, played/coached at Iowa), I think it's more of a hat tip our way. And I respect the job he's done at OU, so I wouldn't be so quick to talk about his record in big games (4-6 in BCS games).

State legislature would have a fit, similar to when UVA wanted to block Va Tech from joining the ACC. UT has no need to leave the Big 12-2 as long as their football team returns to prominence. If they start winning, their fans/alumni will watch their network. Plus, without OU in the conference, their path to the CFP becomes easier.
OU-UT is a big game, but they can play that as an OOC game. They spent a large amount of their rivalry as non-conference rivals so it's nothing new.
|5 days 11 hours ago||I'd rather not include ND in expansion||
Maybe if we went 20 years without playing them, I'd be interested, but I'd rather see some teams added to the B1G West to even out the conference a bit more.
I was listening to the Big 12 media days on XM radio yesterday and they talked about expansion. The Big 12 doesn't have any plans to expand, but they discussed the worry of Oklahoma/Oklahoma State defecting to the B1G. A double header of The Game, followed by Bedlam, would be a great way to showcase the conference on the last weekend of the regular season. From a national perspective there is no great natural rivalry on that side. OU/OSU would fix that. Plus OU/Nebraska was a once great rivalry as well.
|5 days 11 hours ago||I was in a hotel in NJ/NYC last week with BTN||
Too bad it was summer time, but BTN still got more of my free time than ESPN or FS1. There are a lot of B1G travelers and transplants in NYC and DC to make expansion not a horrible idea (only talking about the idea, not the actual schools we picked up).
By 2035, who knows what the ACC looks like? Georgetown may have an FBS football team and included in the conference. UConn may be in the conference also. The only given in CFB then is that I'll still be playing my PS3 and NCAA Football 14 in my 50s.
|6 days 7 hours ago||New Jersey has more NFLers than Michigan||
That is pretty amazing to me. It also helps to legitimize NJ football in my mind. It still does not legitimize adding Rutgers to the conference.
