I think he played hoops at WVU
|1 week 2 days ago||At least my kids will witness a good home schedule||
That's if there's still an NCAA in existence in 2025.
|1 week 2 days ago||3:30 Games usually end around 7PM||
Post-game band performance ends around 7:30. Twenty minutes for fireworks set up. Then you have your 7:50PM start time for fireworks.
I have seen fireworks at a Tiger game right at sunset and it was not as impressive as when it's about 30 minutes after sunset. Maybe this will be a 4 or 4:30 start time. They have started games on the road at that odd of a time.
|7 weeks 6 days ago||Why ask a question with no good answer?||
If it's anonymous, how would we know about it? Then again, I will save up $5 million dollars if I can endow the QB position. I want to hear my name every time the offense snaps the ball.
|8 weeks 6 days ago||He saved us in the 2012 ALCS||
And he was a very reliable guy out of the bullpen in 2010. But I think I'm being very kind by saying he's been inconsistent this season.
|9 weeks 14 hours ago||The owner did for Joe to make a couple of those moves||
When the owner goes "playoffs or else", you have to take a high risk/high reward approach and grab Josh Smith and Brandon Jennings, and pass over a potentially solid PG in Burke.
And if you look at Ben Gordon and Charlie V, who else were they going to get? Ben was a 20PPG scorer his last year with the Bulls. And he was 26. It's easy to criticize the deal now, but at the time people thought he may be the next Rip. Joe followed the textbook to get cap space for the FA class of 2010 (Wade, LeBron, Bosh, Melo), but he knew in the summer of 2009 that those guys had no interest in coming here. He tried to improve the roster as opposed to waiting and getting shut out the next year.
I'm not excusing the bad moves and revolving door of coaches, but I can understand the difficulty of running a team with ownership issues the past 4+ years and in a less than desirable free agent destination.
|9 weeks 1 day ago||Save your hate for the owner we still have||
The owner that wouldn't let Joe D amnesty Ben Gordon's contract and forced him to make that awful trade. Even though the Lions are a pain to follow, at least they make no bones about their creating a video game offense. With the Pistons, they still seem to have no direction or focus.
|9 weeks 4 days ago||KSU moved the ball at will||
Can't blame that on playing a true freshman QB. We would have a hard time winning even with a healthy DG.
|9 weeks 6 days ago||Alan Webb||
Holds the American national record in the mile, with a time of 3:46.91 (min:sec). Represented the United States at the 2004 Summer Olympics in the men's 1500-meter race.

I can't believe this was almost 25 years ago. Still get chills watching that play.
|11 weeks 6 days ago||I was going to post the same thing||
I think most people block out that entire weekend. I think we lost at OSU in football the next day in RR's last "The Game".
|12 weeks 2 days ago||He also had a vanilla gameplan||
He shouldn't have OL issues when he's throwing dump off passes and nothing longer than 15 yards. Even the announcers were waiting for them to let Morris loose with the arm.
|12 weeks 2 days ago||We were lucky to win those games also||
Got lucky on the final drive against MSU and OSU missed a wide open guy at the end of that game. Probably should've lost the first UTL against ND also. I would like to see us win one of those rivalry games without drama where we were clearly the better team.
|12 weeks 2 days ago||This comparison is probably awful||
But who heard of Frank Kaminsky this time last year? Maybe he just needs consistent playing time and a little bit of confidence in his game to have a breakout season. I trust JB enough to be a glass half-full type of guy when it comes to his comments.
|12 weeks 6 days ago||If he didn't know the rules...||
...then shame on the coaches or staff that's supposed to inform them of all the rules. These kids smoke weed, so there should have been some advising them on what happens if they're caught.
If he knew the rules, and the repurcussions, then shame on him. He's 21, not 17 or 18. That makes him an adult and old enough to know what a one year suspension means.
This still doesn't excuse the NCAA, who bent over backwards to allow Cam Newton to stay eligible despite his daddy getting paid. They need to get out of the enforcement business and let qualified personnel handle that.
|12 weeks 6 days ago||If that's true||
Then he should've known better than to smoke. He should've thought after the second or third time that it was not worth doing.
|13 weeks 18 hours ago||I'll take that||
They have the coach we preferred and they win games. All teams have head cases and everybody murders, so we're even there.
|13 weeks 1 day ago||RR was bowl eligible his last year||
That's a pretty low bar considering this is Michigan, the nonconference schedule has been set to make 6 wins very attainable, and making a bowl game has no longer been established as a reason to bring a coach back at large schools.
|14 weeks 2 days ago||Until we're reloading with deep recruiting classes||
I would like to see these guys stay at least three years. I don't think we have the depth established yet to sustain multiple early entrants. If we could have kept two of the three, we greatly increase our chances of getting past Sparty and putting some distance between us. With the way things look, we could be a Levert injury away from struggling to make the tournament next year.
|14 weeks 2 days ago||GRIII played like a first rounder in the tournament IMO||
His jumper wasn't a liability and he appeared more aggressive. He played like a guy trying to improve his draft stock. The only thing that will hurt his status is if Parker and Randle leave. It will push him and Nik down the draft order.
|14 weeks 2 days ago||Sounds funny when you put it that way||
But if Beilein would have basically promised him no more time at the 4, either Levert, Stauskas or GRIII would be coming off the bench (if Nik came back). So I guess you can have too many wings but not too many bigs.
|14 weeks 2 days ago||Elite teams do not underperform||
That's why they're elite. Those teams were very good though. I think the talent was there up until the 2006 team.
Who knows how the 1998 and 1999 teams would have fared if Lloyd would have gone with Brady from the start and not played the 2 QB dance. The 2000 team was three fourth quarter collapses away from an undefeated regular season. And what is Henson stays for the 2001 season? So yes, I think the talent was there.
|15 weeks 21 hours ago||I'd put Erik Kramer above Scott Mitchell||
Kramer won a playoff game at least.
|16 weeks 1 day ago||It was discussed in the Fab Five documentary||
They wanted to be home. I don't think it has any relevance to the rest of the story, and it feels more like a detriment to Fish, but it's true that at least the Fab Five were not thrilled about the trip.
|17 weeks 3 days ago||We beat Tenn by mercy rule||
Up by 45 points at halftime, and advance to play L'ville the same night in the elite eight after the entire UK team mistakenly declares for the draft and hires agents.
|17 weeks 3 days ago||Wait until Sunday||
Either L'ville or KY will be glad to part with their tix after their team loses. Scalpers are going to have a field day with those fanbases this week.
|17 weeks 5 days ago||Maybe Adidas will design special uniforms||
Change up the whole color scheme so we won't be forced root for blue versus green.
|17 weeks 6 days ago||I wouldn't pull that card||
The announcers spend a lot of time with these guys leading up to games. Due to OSU's success and Craft's starting for OSU the past seven years, Raftery and other announcers have had plenty of time to build up their man crush.
|17 weeks 6 days ago||Would've preferred to see Sparty go down||
I'll take this instead I guess.
Until 4:30 hits.
|18 weeks 2 days ago||I wish they would've called the travel||
May have lost anyway, but at least that was more recoverable (sp?) than what eventually transpired.
