And in UTL II he threw 4 TDs against 1 INT and was our leading rusher that night. We won that game because of him.

These commercials were pretty stellar, even for 1998

Vic can be the lead blocker.

Arizona may have found their next head coach.
|2 days 4 hours ago||I can't wait to see a package for him||
I know Tebow is not well liked around here, but I wouldn't mind seeing a "Tank" package on the goal line or short yardage situations. With that versatility, he could see the playing field as a true freshman.

Wojo is a print guy (DetNews), but he's a Michigan grad.
You do have a couple options: It's either Valenti or Pat Caputo. They are both on 97.1, are Sparty grads and at least Caputo still writes drivel for the Oakland Press.

I was kinda expecting a loss to Utah because of the QB situation. But I was expecting better than what we got. I don't think I've ever been so excited about a season opener before, even when we had top 5 teams.
|2 days 6 hours ago||Outside of Hoke||
Our recent first-year head coaches had some hiccups. Moeller lost three games by six points his first year. Lloyd lost four games and I think only the Alamo Bowl was a game they didn't have a second half lead. We know about RichRod. Even Hoke needed a miracle to pull out the ND game to avoid three regular season losses that year.
I believe 3-4 losses is reasonable for a team we have not laid eyes on in a game that counts.

I don't think he could pass for a 20 year old. Denard on the other hand just needs to let out his hair and go by the name Renard Dobinson. I think he could pass for a 23 year old 5-year grad transfer.
|2 days 6 hours ago||I was about to post the same thing||
It's possible that Gardner did know more, but man, that offense was still a sputtering mess. And I heard the OL guys last year say positive things also about the simplified blocking schemes. Blocking guys 10 yards downfield sounds good. I hope that doesn't say anything bad about our D-line though. I always felt our D-line was underwhelming, especially considering that was supposed to be Hoke's strength.

Illinois should've owned the B1G in basketball and football, but they let all the good talent leave Chicago. I have a hunch he might be crazy enough to go into Chicago and recruit well. I hope Iowa is stuck with Ferentz a little while longer and Illinois rehires Lou Tepper.

That's actually someone's who was at the UM-Iowa game in 2010. Perfect storm of camera panning the crowd, plus another disappointing defensive performance and a dash of frustrated fandom.

FWIW, when he goes to the League, I hope Cris Carter can school him on how to only give out the address to where his fall guy lives.

Do it alphabetically, based on middle initial.
|3 days 4 hours ago||I'll be surprised if we lose to Sparty||
They don't play a style that blows you out if your defense is competent. Ours was very competent the last two years, which is why we have been in the game the last two years. Also, in RichRod's last year, we had a lead in the second quarter, which would've been larger if the Gibbons of 2011 was there in 2010 (How silly is it that we had to go for it on 4th and long in FG territory?). The gap between us and Sparty is pretty small in their favor, if there is a gap.

Everytime Butt is selected, they (7 and 5 years old) go crazy. It's going to be a sad day when he graduates on the game. I might have to create a recruit with that last name.

...according to Google Maps and Ahmir's flyer.
|3 days 5 hours ago||Location is a bit sketchy though||
The address on the flyer does not exist according to Google Maps. But the street looks like a new residential development. I usually don't look those things up, but I was curious as to why you would place an address on the WWW if it's a private residence. Sounds like Drew Rosenhaus having the reporters watch T.O. work out in his driveway.

But there will be an interview aired between those two during the pre-game show.

I'm looking for a local NPR station now that I'm back in Detroit.

|3 days 6 hours ago||The Purdue game was not great||
We dropped in the polls after that game. That was the game that made me realize the importance of running up the score for some of these teams.

Brady Hoke won his introductory press conference. Said all the right things. He had to because his track record was short with limited success.
Harbaugh, love the guy, did not wow anyone in his introductory press conference and sounded a bit uncomfortable at halftime of the hoops game. He didn't necessarily "win" those events because of his performance. He won them in advance because of what he did at all of his previous stops.
There are numerous differences between the two. Harbaugh is a proven winner. He left Stanford in great shape. And if San Francisco wasn't run by petulant pre-schoolers, they would have another Super Bowl contending team this year.

I appreciate Lloyd Carr, but Moeller never should've been let go for his one transgression.

Illitch knows his time is running short if he wants a W.S. I doubt money will be a factor for him. If anything, they may try a creative salary structure similar to what Scherzer got in DC. I think a lot of that money is deferred for a while.

If so, I call B.S. on the lack of diversity and will sacrifice the next few days to join the bus tour.
