My favorite Office episode…

My favorite Office episode ever.

Best Win: The championship…

Best Win: The championship game.

Most Satisfying Win: 2022 OSU. OSU was fully loaded. Weather was perfect. They were at home. They still lost by 20+.

Most Meaningful Win: 2021 OSU. I don't know if I ever cried after a game, but I sure did that evening.

The NCAA is the most low T…

The NCAA is the most low T organization on the planet. The way they overcompensate for their lack of virility with over the top letters is pretty amazing.

Don't blame Warde that the…

Don't blame Warde that the school didn't sue. He can't pull off a lawsuit without the School Pres supporting it.

My guess is that the 'get at…

My guess is that the 'get at me' is for the coaches to tell the NIL collectives to get at him.

Where's the point where we…

Where's the point where we sue the NCAA? Isn't that how this works in SEC land?

IMO he is the #2 or #3 QB in…

IMO he is the #2 or #3 QB in this class behind Caleb Williams. It would be great for him to land in an offense like the one Detroit runs, because it's close to the Harbaugh offense (run heavy and utilizes the TE). Based on this year's draft class, I would use a top five pick on him.

Cancer did what the bumbling…

Cancer did what the bumbling prosecutors could not do and that's put OJ on ice.

I assume that OP is a Lions…

I assume that OP is a Lions fan, so I'll say that these statistics show why Brad Holmes won the Exec of the Year Award. Four guys started games this year and with Jack Campbell, you could have five of those guys starting in 2024. Gibbs in a 50-50 split is as good as starting IMO.

His jersey should've been…

His jersey should've been retired years ago. Just goes to show you that even people worth billions can be petty over little things.

For those with serious WNBA…

For those with serious WNBA aspirations, I get it. But this is still a world class university with a world class alumni base we're talking about these young women potentially walking away from. When I faced that issue in the 90s, I had to have an honest conversation with myself about my future, and I knew I better secure it academically.

Was hoping he'd fill out the…

Was hoping he'd fill out the staff at UD Mercy, but I understand Lansing is home and can probably offer a better salary.

When my wife says, "I'm too…

When my wife says, "I'm too tired."

The division format helps to…

The division format helps to cut down on travel. If Detroit is traveling to Oakland as often as they go to Cleveland, that's more of a strain on people and finances.

I actually liked the old format they got rid of in the 90s, where the top four teams in your division made the playoffs. Really set up for some intense division rivalries.

I don't know what the…

I don't know what the smattering of racism is, but it felt like the entire world came to her defense last year after the whole Angel Reese situation.

Playing the comparison game on this one issue a no-win situation. All successful people have haters for a variety of unfortunate reasons.

My elementary school kids…

My elementary school kids have school, so we'll have to make it work here in Detroit. The 99.5% is good enough for me now that we're National Champions.

Ryan Walters?

Ryan Walters?

Only reason to root for the…

Only reason to root for the B1G is so that Sparty doesn't have the claim of owning the last conference title. But honestly, F this conference.

Any world where Tommy…

Any world where Tommy Brookens is at the hot corner is a world I want to live in. Damn shame he didn't get the managerial job after Leyland retired.

I believe most of what he's…

I believe most of what he's saying about the NIL issues. Hoops has always succeeded in the shadows of the football program, even in the Hoke years.

I don't doubt the words that…

I don't doubt the words that were said in the argument. Sanderson saying, "This is the sh*t I'm talking about" tells me that he was having trouble getting the players to still buy in to his Camp Sanderson program.

Curly Joe came on after…

Curly Joe came on after Shemp died.

It went from: Larry, Moe and Curly -> Larry, Moe and Shemp -> Larry, Moe and Curly Joe.

I loved the Stooges and had their computer game when I was a kid.

He lived the alternate…

He lived the alternate ending to the TCU game.

He could have mentioned his…

He could have mentioned his path without the football family part. The sad fact is that the subtle dig falls flat and sounds a lot like too little, too late.

MLB player lands on disabled…

MLB player lands on disabled list because of nightmare.

It was bittersweet to watch back then considering how disappointing those Final Fours were.

His Wikipedia page is updated, so I guess it's happening!

Nobody's drinking the…

Nobody's drinking the Gatorade if we hire him.

Has Draymond gotten into…

Has Draymond gotten into trouble off the court? Serious question. I'm okay with my athletes being dicks on the court and staying out of trouble off the court.

I promise you you're not in…

I promise you you're not in the minority.

How many times have those…

How many times have those upsets on the first weekend benefitted his team?

Last night is a perfect example of why I held onto my YTTV account. Wagner v Howard (my wife's alma mater - so I'm biased) was a great game and CSU blew out a Power 5 team still living off a national title a couple years ago. Izzo's just pissed because he's about to go home with his top 3 recruiting class in a few days.

They swung for the fences…

They swung for the fences and hit a ground-rule double IMO. Beilein left for the same reason why Howard was fired: These dudes leave (NBA or transfer) so dang quick these days. We can do a postmortem on why these guys transferred out or left just to be a G-League role player, but Beilein and Howard had a similar issue when it comes to player retention. The difference is that JB knew how to recruit developmental guys and actually develop them.

I'd wear something neutral…

I'd wear something neutral. If you wear anything Michigan, then you might end up having to talk about Stallions to fans of any school. Do you want to deal with that for two days or do you want to just enjoy basketball? That place is going to be overrun with UNC (The Timeout) and Tennessee (Peyton was robbed) fans.

Every major program does…

Every major program does that unless they already have their guy lined up. Pretty sure Sherrone was given the keys to the Cadillac without a search firm being involved.

Those firms can do the vetting and other backend tasks that he nor anyone on the staff can do.

One of my biggest complaints…

One of my biggest complaints last year was the lack of Edwards and Corum on the field at the same time. I hope that even if Mullings or Hall are the primary "between the tackles" RB, they keep him on the field for 70+% of the snaps. We're Michigan. We shouldn't be afraid of two-back sets.

I live in Sherwood Forest in…

I live in Sherwood Forest in Detroit and people have stayed in this neighborhood or an adjoining one because the Detroit Golf Club is a quick walk. It's a two minute drive from Woodward which will get you downtown in 10-15 minutes and to all the great eats in Royal Oak/Birmingham in the same amount of time.

Justin Fields would've…

Justin Fields would've beaten Detroit twice if the team didn't crap the bed here. I guess that's why they need the toilet paper.

Chicago is going to look stupid in three years when Caleb leaves to go back to LA and Justin Fields is playing at an elite level. Yes, I believe Chicago is making a mistake.

That's Ryan Turell. He's…

That's Ryan Turell. He's Orthodox Jewish and plays on Sabbaths which is interesting, but he walks to games or practices on that day. I hope they don't play too many road games on Friday night or Saturday.

I assumed that Beilein left…

I assumed that Beilein left because he didn't want to coach today's college athlete in this world of NIL and transfer portal. It's worse now than it was then.

I don't have an issue with…

I don't have an issue with the decision, but this is a sadder day for me than all of the losses from the last three years combined. The happiest day of his teenage years should've been the day he committed to Michigan, but it was the saddest day with his grandmother dying.

He gave everything he had for three years on the hardwood, and almost willed us past Arkansas to a third straight Final Four. On top of that, he wasn't part of the Ed Martin stink.

Maybe things would've turned out better if Jett went to Tennessee and Jace to a smaller school. I don't know. You'd have to play feelingsball to find a reason to keep him, because there was serious regression and it's not like he had a top 5 class coming in. But man, it sucks when you have to let one of your iconic players go and I was really hoping at least one of the Fab Five would finally get to cut down the nets.

Squint hard enough and you…

Squint hard enough and you see that kid is trying to break free of a scarlet and gray slide.

The only good thing about…

The only good thing about Ohio (besides you and our other M brethren) is that I can get a couple cases of Yuengling with a quick 45-minute drive to Toledo.

I kinda miss slacking off…

I kinda miss slacking off during the noon window because it seemed like were were always in that 1 vs 8/9 game. I'm sure it happened but I can't remember playing on a Thursday or Friday night in the BTT.

I'm here for the Friday Pos…

I'm here for the Friday Pos-Bang!

If he would've done that, he…

If he would've done that, he would've fired Beilein, Bakich and Harbaugh. You win some, you lose some.

It's a CYA move to remove…

It's a CYA move to remove any biases from the evaluation. Look at MSU's BoT for a recent example. An outside firm looked at all the shenanigans and suggested the Governor remove two of their trustees. Based on their findings, the BoT voted to refer the case to the Gov and now it's in her court.

An outside firm may just give school the legal backing to fire either Manuel or Howard for cause.

I would totally buy that…

I would totally buy that shirt, just for angry wolverine dude on the right.

Can two things be right?

1…

Can two things be right?

1. Hunter made the right decision for himself. Him staying doesn't change our archaic transfer rules and we still wouldn't be a title contender.

2. If he would have stayed, his senior leadership could have been a steadying influence with the coach out and could have impacted the W-L record to where it wouldn't be historically bad.

Considering they are…

Considering they are hemorrhaging athletic directors, they should probably focus on their glass house.

I was thinking that there…

I was thinking that there was a correlation between one day of practice and him leaving. I thank you for your sacrifice to confirm my suspicions.

There's a reason why Chip failed in the NFL and UCLA. He has a crazy way of doing things that doesn't relate to the NFL player and now today's CFB player.
