I dont think it would be possible to write it better than this. Love it.

I like this argrument, I have

I like this argrument. I have held this point for a long time about this issue. Paying players for playing college football is fine, but what I see the issue being, where would the money come from? I only see the money, in the end, coming from an increase in football ticket prices. What about D2 football players? D3? Womens Cross Country? If you pay players for one sport, you would have to pay for all scholarship athletes. This would most likely bring down a lot of smaller athletic departments down who could not afford to pay their student-athletes. Why not just remove the age restriction for entering the NFL and if players chose to go pro right out of high school, so be it. And if they chose to not go pro right out of high school, then they stay minimum of 3 years in college like today keep the system status quo?

i would pay for the HD app on iPhone from the app store. The basic version of the app for apple is not good. Losing the HD app has cut down on my blog time since the app was the majority of my use.

Yup, mine just crashed three times in the span of about a minute as well. Welp, this sucks.

Or, if you have read through

Or, if you have read through the Alabama players and their cars post, Saban promised him a Pagani Zonda:

so relieved NCAA ruled spring

so relieved NCAA ruled spring break practice trips are more of a violation than what, at least seems to most I believe, is blatant violation of a long standing rule of impermissible benefits. Lovely. Just lovely.

Love a good sour dough myself. Best sandwich bread IMO.

if you are not joking or

if you are not joking or being sarcastic............did you actually look at the cars in some of the pics? Not to mention the wheels on more than half of them are not cheap either. And these are current players that were on Alabama's 2016 roster

He does it for clickbait and

He does it for clickbait and the people who hate Harbaugh to read and go "OOOO..he is a jerk up there in Michigan."

And when your shoe size is a larger number than your age...

He's 17 years old and wears size 18 shoes.

This is a large man...

He did well with the TE

He did well with the TE position and Heath Ledger was a fantastic Joker. I am willing to give him a shot.

Can someone explain the

Can someone explain the difference between Ed Davis and Clark's situation?

I am surprised they have not

I am surprised they have not come right out and made this one effective for football and call it the Harbaugh Rule.

Good post. Enjoyed reading

Good post. Enjoyed reading this. I can hope it does not take several more years to bring UMs OL out of the funk (pun...maybe..?) that has plagued it for the past decade.

Looking good on this front.

Shula for sure is the

Shula for sure is the greatest sports alum from JCU. Went there for undergrade. The football stadium (soccer, lacross, field hockey, etc. It is a D-3 school after all and they dont have space for seperate fields for each sport) is named after him. Also, London Fletcher went to JCU as well. He is a four time pro-bowler and played in the NFL for 15 years.

I do not post a lot, but have

I do not post a lot, but have been reading this blog for 5 years and a member for almost two. I feel like I have a decent grasp on how this blog works because I have been reading it for 5 years. I enjoy the content (the game recaps, recruting posts by Ace and Brian, player profiles, etc). I also enjoy reading the forum posts by the users. I do get a lot world event info from this site as well. I enjoy all aspects of this site and do not care if "useless content" gets posted everyonce and a while. I do not understand why some users feel it is their mission to neg away at low point users, or "put users in their place" when they post something they disagre with, or post content like this asking the mods to up the limit of points before being allowed to create a new topic. Yes, there will be trolls, but there are always going to be trolls on any website. The mods do a good job of weeding them out and removing them.

Hard work pays. It builds

Hard work pays. It builds character, intergrity, and courage; stuff that leaders should be made of. Players that work harder at their craft will beat out players with only a 'high pedigree' that don't work as hard and perfer to jet ski instead. This is the Harbaugh Effect. He is always the hardest working coach on the field and makes sure his players are as well; current and incoming.

I really hope suspended

I really hope suspended indefinitely does not mean he will just sit out the first half of the next game and they just have not informed the public of this yet.

LT would prolly be Newsome

LT would prolly be Newsome and Filiaga would be RT. Probably a safe assumption Newsome will be healed by the start of the 2018 season.

I wonder what the pitch Jim is using for these two...

I am by no means experienced in this matter at all and really do not know what high school kids are thinking, let alone high level recruits who are basically national celebrities by the time they graduate from high school and select the university they will spend the next 3 to 4 years of their life playing football. Ultimately, I believe most want to go to the NFL and they probably want the easiest path the NFL. Recently, Alabama seems to be that path. However, I believe that is probably the best and only pitch Saban can pitch to recruits (and that follows with what I have heard in the past about parents talking about Saban and his recruiting pitches. Some parents were turned off by it since it seemed all Saban cared about was getting their son to the NFL and nothing else). Since Harbaugh cannot pitch Saban's level of NFL draft success he will have to go about it another way (although JH was way more successful in the NFL than Saban was as a coach and he could pitch he knows what it takes to play in the NFL more than Saban does). He is probably pitching to these kids that they are going to be key building blocks for this program in the coming future. So basically, do they want to go an already established program with already so many big names and just be another cog in the NFL machine that is Alabama (big name recruits are just a norm down there now it seems, at least to me), or would they rather be remembered at UM as an elite players who helped lead the charge to bring UM a national title and go down as a legend in UM history.

Now, I am biased. But, it just seems to me being a top level recruit at UM means more to the University and fanbase than being another 5 star prospect at Alabama.

We just need their OL coach

We just need their OL coach to leave now and we should be looking good
