This may be true, but you come across as very negative in regards to Peters. What is the point in bringing this up? Are you trying to convince other people to not like him? He's our starting QB now and now you want to put this negativity out? I can't blame him for being upset he didn't win the job and was feeling sorry for himself. The kid is 19 and learning how to be an adult. Remember the HBO Harbaugh special where he laid into Wilton for his attitude?

Everyone gets extremely judgmental when something involves a woman. If he was charged for drunk driving or something like that, I doubt anyone would be acting so high and mighty.

Completely agree with you

Completely agree with you here. Outside of the one or two drives in the 2nd half where our run game was working, it looked like we either called a run up the middle, or called a pass that took too long to develop for the way our OL was playing. Seemed like the runs that were successful were off of jet sweep action or peppers zone read.

Even though it worked out at the end of the game, I really don't like calling 6 straight obvious runs up the middle on the last two drives of the game. I'd have liked to see a WR screen on the outside to get Darboh or Chesson in space. Or we could have tried to get Butt more involved. I don't think our play calling was at its best today. But maybe Wisconsin had more to do with that than I realize.

I thought Speight played

I thought Speight played fine. > 60% completions and > 200 yards. Had an unfortunate interception off a deflection, and then a bad sack when he should have thrown it away. I thought the offensive play calling was lacking once we got near the end zone, and overall in the 2nd half. Outside of maybe one or two drives in 2nd half, it seemed like we kept running straight into 7/8 man boxes when their linebackers are their strength and were committed to stopping the run. Also we abandoned trying to get Butt the ball, and we were calling plays that took too long to develop considering the way our OL was playing.

I'm looking to be impressed

I'm looking to be impressed by this team. A dominant 35+ point win will suffice.

I'd like to see a nice deep ball from the quarterback as well as an ability to convert on 3rd downs. From the running backs, I'd like to see Deveon get 15-20 carries with about 100-120 yards. I'm hoping Ty Isaac looks like the starting back, even if he only gets 10 carries I'd think he can get 80+ yards. I'd like to see Chesson pick up where he left against Florida, and hopefully see no ill effects from his injury.

Defense should keep Hawaii to a field goal or less. And I want to see them force 2+ turnovers. DL should constantly be in the backfield, and I'm hoping I don't notice the linebackers outside of stellar play from Peppers. I want to see the punting unit exactly one time, and that's only to see a spread formation followed by a 50+ yard bomb by Kenny.

Where you've heard that the

Where you've heard that the OL is handling our DL? I haven't seen that on here or 247.

Perhaps not, but the worst

Perhaps not, but the worst things have happened to us. I know no one has forgotten 2007. I think Harbaugh knows young men can easily phone it in on lesser opponents. That's why he preaches focusing on getting better every day. I think everyone knows OSU means more to him than Hawaii(the post game presser after OSU is a good example)

I guess it's a semantics thing. Does beating OSU feel better than beating Hawaii? You better believe it. But you focus on the task ahead of you so The Game means that much more at the end of the season.

I see your point to a degree.

I see your point to a degree. But in this era especially the goal is to win a national championship. You can't guarantee you will do that without winning EVERY game. I think that is why Harbaugh focuses on getting better every day, focusing on the next game. You no longer control your own destiny, and your ultimate goal pretty much vanishes if you don't take a 'lesser' team seriously and lose to them.

There was no B1G Championship game back in Bo's coaching days. The Game was essentially the B1G Championship game. It's my opinion that is why that game was so important.

Where does Jabrill play in
