Mike Spath points out that doing an interview for the official site is a pretty good indicator he'll be back.

Yeah, their skill position guys (besides Cook) are relatively unproven - but they have arguably the best offensive and defensive line in the Big Ten. That's big.

That picture is actually kind of awesome.

Unless Bridges goes to UK, it's quite possible it'll either be a Bridges/Winston package to UM or to MSU. This will certainly be interesting to see unfold.
|4 weeks 6 days ago||It's actually at least eight.||
It's actually at least eight. Hunter Rison is ranked #269 and plays at Ann Arbor Skyline.

MSU has four open schollies with Ward and Langford committed. If they land Bridges and Winston that would be one heck of a class.

"That was awful nice of him," Dantonio said. "As far as being a big guy on the block, that's a nice compliment, I appreciate that, but at the same time, there's a lot of competition in this world, Competition is a daily thing, and we compete each day to try to stay where we're at or move forward. We're always going to try to move forward."
I'm not exactly sure what is controversial here considering that is pretty much the most low key thing ever.

Why is Clint Brewster - 247's guy that covers UM - the one that put his rating in? Just seems like whoever rates players should be seperate than the writers who cover specific teams. I don't know why people pay money for recruiting services.
|8 weeks 16 hours ago||It's interesting how ESPN is||
It's interesting how ESPN is kind of pulling MSU's composite down.
Scout gives MSU eight four stars and both Rivals and 247 give MSU seven four stars.
Is ESPN normally an outlier?
Nonetheless, UM, MSU, OSU, and PSU will all have good classes.

Sherman's Twitter mentions also contained some relevant information during the hour of fun. He was asked if Izzo knew about the condom trick and replied: "Hell no."
He was asked who urinated in a condom for Allen and Lucious and responded: "No one. That's why they got caught."
|9 weeks 5 days ago||...but what's the||
...but what's the investigation? Izzo kicked off multiple players on the team - suspended others - for many things including smoking weed. If anything, wouldn't he be commended for actually trying to have a backbone?
|9 weeks 5 days ago||Izzo hated that group. IIRC||
Izzo hated that group. IIRC correctly, Lucious was kicked out, Lucas was suspended at least once for sure, and I think Summers was suspended as well? Wasn't Chris Allen kicked off as well? There were also rumblings about players sleeping with other player's girlfriends on top of the fact that a bunch of them smoked themselves silly. Izzo has openly ranted about how much weed has ruined locker rooms.
Sherman's rant was pretty damn funny, yet nothing new to those that follow.
|9 weeks 5 days ago||Well, weed isn't exactly||
Well, weed isn't exactly going to give you enhanced performance. The whole overstretching fiasco was stupid as hell, but it's not like these kids were all taking horse steroids. Plus Izzo suspended kids and hated them smoking...it's not like he was on their side on this.

Pardon my ignorance...
Since the end of last football season Tennessee, Arkansas, Iowa, and Auburn have all offered Lukusa. Why are they offering if the kid has already plateaued?
|14 weeks 3 days ago||MSU picked up WR Justin Layne||
MSU picked up WR Justin Layne today.
They need to get to work on defensive recruiting, but a skill position haul so far of Layne, Cameron Chambers, deWeaver, and Abdul Adams is very solid.
|16 weeks 5 days ago||Yeah - Scherer isn't the best||
Yeah - Scherer isn't the best predictor.
Nonetheless, the big connection between Xavier and MSU is that Xavier's older brother Kaleel is part of the 2015 recruiting class for MSU.
MSU also appears to be recruiting him as an "athlete" while other schools want him as a QB. If he wants to go that direction then MSU might be more of an option. It seems that deWeaver will very likely be MSU's QB in this class.
|23 weeks 6 days ago||While they all will play each||
While they all will play each other shelling out losses, I agree there is no reason all three programs can't have very good football programs at once. All three have good coaches in place.
If the argument is recruiting will dip for MSU it simply makes no sense. MSU just had arguably their best class under Dantonio yet only ONE player had a UM offer. MSU may struggle a little in state and in Ohio, but they have good prospects from all over the country coming in. Their rise in prominence is helping them recruit outside of their traditional base.

Coldplay has some bad songs, but the majority of their music is good - and in fact some of it is great. They do about as good of job as the "biggest band in the world" can do to generally produce solid music.
|29 weeks 2 days ago||After not having a kid from||
After not having a kid from Texas in forever, MSU actually has three committed for 2015 from Texas (Josh Butler, Tyler Higby, and Darrell Stewart). They also just hired Mark Snyder who was just fired as Texas A&M defensive coordinator. I don't know true intention of ad (though I think they ran similar one after Rose Bowl), but they are doing some things down there.

LJ Scott (RB) is consensus four star on all four sites. Lewerke (QB) is four star on two/three star on two. I think Thompson (LB) is only four star on Scout.
These kids are all good players.

They are having co-DC's in Harlon Barnett and Mike Tressel. They interestingly enough also currently have co-OC's (Bollman and Warner).
Rumors that Brad Salem may follow Narduzzi to Pitt.
|30 weeks 4 days ago||Their incoming class is quite||
Their incoming class is quite good for MSU standards (out of 15 commits six land in Scout top 250).
I think they'll be able to redshirt pretty much all of them. LJ Scott, their best "rated" recruit, very likely will be playing. He looks like a tank at RB and besides him they'll be leaning on some relatively inexperienced guys at RB (D. Williams who has played and Madre London who will be a red shirt fresh). Their o line should be solid next year which will help.

Leave on a positive-our Mich State commit tears ACL in a game-HC Mark Dantonio calls 8am and assures me that they'll honor their commitment!
Sounds like Dantonio did the right thing with one of his teammates.

That's not remotely true and you make UM fans looks stupid by saying that.

Well, UM has had quite a few more legal issues than MSU since Rather Hall so this looks pretty ignorant.
MSU did just basically release Jayru from his commitment following a relatively similar incident.

Do you think that is an ominous post or something? Think all he is saying is that he is not all that concerned about the people who think he should go to OSU being an Ohio kid.
|1 year 7 weeks ago||Considering Lewerke commited||
Considering Lewerke commited to them back in April and MSU can't say anything...it's very possible they decided to pull the offer months ago and in the meantime were still trying to help him get his crap together.
|1 year 7 weeks ago||Eh, I doubt that "very||
Eh, I doubt that "very reliable source". They got a good QB in Lewerke in the mean time...seems like they moved on months ago. Additionally, they can't comment on anything. Wouldn't surprise me for Campbell's sake they let him save some face by saying he decommitted.
|1 year 8 weeks ago||MSU has had relatively||
MSU has had relatively sub-par recruiting classes by their standards the last two years, but they do have Deyonta Davis committed for 2015...who is a 5 star on ESPN and a likely consensus 5 star by everyone soon. Kid is a dominant big man...very Paynesque. Ahrens looks good if he stays healthy. If Swanigan, Eric Davis, or a few others pop to MSU that they are in good shape on...they'll have an elite class. Very good start for them with Davis and Ahrens.
|2 years 34 weeks ago||It's not that bad...||
...they have some quality talent in there.
By the way, Ace, Damion Terry is a 4 star on 24/7 sports. He has had a superb senior year...looks like a very solid QB prospect.
