"writer"? It's pretty sweet that there's so much of nothing in there that the dumbass couldn't spin anything to any narrative.

Haven't thought about that Shatner TZ episode in years. Freaked me right the eff out as a kid.

Are you Jack from the comments from that link?

Read that book as a youngster. Quite entertaining. I still find the tornado in the wilds of Ontario to be the biggest stretch in a book full of stretches.

I freaking love him. I was merely remarking on the other guy's post that he isn't unfair in tiring of the "craziness". Then I answered his question as to when the free passes start to dry up. I personally don't care about the craziness either way. Hence me stating that sometimes I click, sometimes I don't.

it's quite a huge thing. There were some remarks on it during UM's '13 run. Why in the hell would the NCAA put these games in a cavernous football stadium? The seating is a pain in the ass, the look and feel for the players is all screwy. Obviously all teams have to deal with the same crap, but why make them? These games should never be in anything bigger than an NBA arena.

buying the "cheap" ones from Menards or something. We put thousands of these things in and rarely have a problem. Sure, there's always defects in any production line but burning out is a real rarity. Breaking because of an assembly flaw is much more common. The LED can trims are damn near bullet proof.*
*Not actually bulletproof. Never fire a gun at an LED can trim.

stance. I'm leaning that way too. Going at shit full bore is great. I love that aspect. But if this doesn't get UM any higher than they've been the past 2 seasons, does any of it really matter?
My answer to your how many years question, 5 years without anything better than a "good bowl" win probably isn't going to cut it. I'd imagine I'm not alone. UM didn't hire one of the best coaches in the business to lose heartbreakers to osu and fsu and shit the bed against one of the blandest, mediocre coaches in the game.
And as far as all these fluff stories go - sometimes I click, sometimes I don't.

read the article and the title really loses its luster. They're actually very complimentary of UM.

So vs UF in Jerryworld in September there will be no alcohol served?

the only thing worse than being in the NIT is not winning it. Dumbasses. If you're going to accept the invite you might as well try to win the damn thing.
|1 week 9 hours ago||Right on.||
I was very much in the camp of finding another coach. That doesn't mean I hated the team and wanted them to lose. UM never needs to "win" me back. Hell, Beilein didn't need to win me back. I've always wanted every coach UM has ever had to be the best. I didn't hate the guy, I just erroneously deduced he had passed his prime. I was wrong and happy as hell that I was. I'll never be sorry for wanting UM to be the best.

Consumers Energy and they piss me off about things, DTE is always there to remind me of how much much much worse it COULD be. It pisses me off to no end that I have to deal with those crooks for natural gas to my house. I'd rather deal with Charter or Comcast.
Disclaimer: I've never had cable so I have no idea how bad Charter or Comcast can be. Just from horror stories.

like to have both B1G titles and NCAA tourney success, I think nowadays NCAA tourney success trumps a B1G title for me. Would you rather win a B1G title and lose in the first weekend or finish 2 or 3 in the B1G and get to the 16, 8, 4 or NC game? Again, both would be awesome but deep tourney runs are preferred if we can't have both.

I freak out pretty bad when I sense the fouls starting to seem to favor the other team and I really effing lose it if Beilein is getting pissed because then you KNOW things are getting ridiculous.

on the refs, Ace.
Looking back at the Wisc game now, I don't recall the teeth gritting, seething anger and general hopeless feeling like in the previous 2 games where it seemed like we couldn't look askance at the oppostion while they were allowed to hurl us into the 3rd row with no repercussion.
