admittedly

things are a bit choppy here. i try to use the MGoBlog 2 deep as a basis, but i wanted to leave off guys who aren't even on campus yet, since they wouldn't be playing in the spring game. that's why the pliska and ulizio omissions.

i will get the other stuff taken care off for the next one - in september...

engineering is great

but frankly if you are a 5* you have something like a 1 in 10 chance to get drafted in the first round. going to 'bama instead of michigan helps make that more of a surety with their recent sucess of sending guys to the league (much love to mike martin and brandon graham). he will make more in signing bonus and one year salary than he will in a two decades of being an engineer. he has a gift and a talent and half of success is no messing up decisions that allow you to capitalize on the luck of having a gift.

brian,

see you saturday night!

originally

these were meant to fit into one of those clear ticket sleeves on a lanyard that UM was doing a few years back when the tickets were huge or maybe it came from a bowl game. something like below. so there are instructions of how to fold it to fit into one of these and take to the game. it has worked well in the past for me as you can fit the sleeve into a pocket, especially in early season games or in the rain. the ticket sizes have changed, so i don't see as many folks rockin' the lanyard sleeve anymore.

the only thing i find

about current spartans is that Bullough got a MIP on spring break in Aspen in 2009 when he and the now graduated Linthicum got in a tussle with a brit. Linthicum got tased, bro.

Some freshman named Hammock got booted off the team in fall practice, but that is all i can find.

any help?

this depth chart is based

this depth chart is based mostly on information available here when i have a chance to do it and post it. sometimes i do it ahead of the athletic department releasing theirs but i have a short week this week and go to it a bit earlier than usual.

notice on the ath dept's that jake ryan in shown as a third string, but denoted as injured. there are sometimes some minor moves that escape me and unless something major happens, they largely remain unchanged during the season.

so, the scribd lightbox does

so, the scribd lightbox does not show a download button? clicking that opens it directly in adobe reader or acrobat for me, without the account open.

on the MGoDepthChart above,

on the MGoDepthChart above, which is where this is cribbed from, Kalis is shown as both backup tackles. since he is not going to be in the spring game, i left him off of this. there are some walk-on type fellows such as Glasgow and Gunderson who i think can play there, but until the calvary gets here, that is all there is.

hence, no spring "game"

the info comes from

mgoblue.com, which is the team's official page. there are some oddities like this, such as Barnum not showing as a returning starter even though he did start a bunch of games, as did Countess.

i wrestled with this for a while, then just decided to walk the company line.

couple things:

1) did you just paste the embed line from scribd?

2) the program you are showing is the rough draft from last week. this weeks is different, especially on the right hand panel.
