1995, M v. Virginia - ended, of course, with Dreisbach to Hayes in the last second for the win! I was 10 and had no idea football games were that exciting!
Cannot wait to celebrate the start of the season with the surprisingly large number of Michigan faithful we have met in central Virginia... complete with Koegel's hot dogs and a block M-shaped cake!
My husband and I have been debating various Michigan-themed names for our non-existant dogs and children for years. As long as he doesn't vote to name a human Fielding, I'm good to go.
That game holds a special place in my heart as it was my first ever game in the Big House - I was 9 and had no idea what was going on other than that the ending was crazy exciting.
2005 Penn State may be my #1... sitting on the field with the marching band to witness that Manningham catch and then rushing the field was unforgettable.
Absolutely. The difference is very obvious when you see a player from another team interviewed - "I've done a lot for my team" and "I think I deserve ____ award", etc. Our young men are always very humble and respectful of their teammates and coaches. It's great to watch them get rewarded for their hard work and perseverance!
I can't help but wonder if the band put less time into Saturday's show and instead got a head start on the OSU show during this past week. Just a guess.
The scribbled comments on the pictures never fail to crack me up. Any chance BlueSeoul used to run the old Left Behind at the Fishbowl blog back in the day?
He comes across as a humble and intelligent guy in this article. Add that to frequently tossing Denard in the air and making hilarious comments about moustaches and shepherd costumes - great guy all around!

It's also unbelievable that multiple university employees walked in on this and did nothing to immediately stop it. In addition to McQueary leaving and only reporting the incident to Paterno, NYTimes is reporting that a janitor witnessed a separate shower incident and told no one but a co-worker due to fear of losing his job.
I can see the appeal of a flashy new jersey for a special occasion game, to young athletes in particular, but I have to believe they do have some understanding and respect for well-known traditions. Are they too young to have seen Rudy? The gold helmets are a college football staple.

I don't know much about ice dancing but their skating always appears to be absolutely flawless. Go blue!!!
