One person that's never mentioned is Darius Morris. He's not in the elite class of Michigan pgs, but I think Burke made us forget how good he was. Couldn't shoot, but was fantastic at getting into the lane and creating something.
Since were on the subject of potential coaches: somehow Bleacher Report appeared on my Facebook timeline, and they have an article saying Mike Shanahan is interested in coaching here. Probably bs, but kind of interesting.
Sometimes Brian just kills it, and this was one of the posts. Captioning "I am not a role model" under Harry Potter might have been the funniest joke I've seen this football season.
Other countries are going to continue to use their pros, I think we should continue to use ours as long as they want to play. Everyone seems to enjoy representing their country, only pulling out due to injury concerns.
Only been to a couple football games in East Lansing, but it sure seems like they allow open alcohol on the sidewalks on the way to the game. Strange that wasn't addressed.
National championship game had me pretty close. I couldn't believe the run was going to end that way. I was at the game, and watching Trey walk off as the confetti fell was tough. That dude deserved to go off a champion, and that team was just so memorable.
Can some of the older posters give me your (fair) opinion of Navarre? He was the quarterback when I first started to get into Michigan football. I remember him being an unstoppable throw god that was super tall and got really unlucky against USC.
For the Adidas haters, Bill Martin did ensure that Adidas has to pay us the most of any college. I'm not usually "dolla dolla bill, y'all" but that's a pretty good deal. I honestly like most of the uniforms puts out, even if they aren't quite up there with Nike.
While I enjoyed Markovits' sports and society class, I think the be all end all for sports classes at U of M has to be Bacon's. The guy has an insane amount of enthusiasm and passion for what he does.
This horse has been already taken to the glue factory. I know its the offseason, but I prefer ridiclous threads like "title says it all" to rehashing incidents that have previously been the topic of 10 or so threads.
Would like to see Crawford here, seems like a great player. However, like others mentioned, it seems like we'll be ok at CB. What's worse is how bad the decomittments look: Campbell, Harris, now crawford. It's not a good vibe.
Some photoshop genuis needs to make Beilein Gandalf leading hobbit Zack Novak into battle with an Orc-type figure (I'm thinking Derrick Nix?). His wizard stuff can be a sub or something like that.
Also, a Chuck Norris-esque meme about Beilein would be good. Ex: At Cansius, he once drove a van 400 miles to a recruit while watching film on a VCR/TV in the passenger seat.
I think my general distaste for what Brandon is doing here is acting like these are the major issues for the gameday experience. If we lose every game, not even lightening fast wifi will want to make me pay for tickets.
The team just needs to win games. That's on Hoke, not Brandon. I don't think these gimmicks are necessary (I don't care about wifi). The only thing that should drive you to watching at home on TV is increased prices for a mediocre product.

It's the little things about this blog. Like capitalizing Delonte Hollowell's name on the depth chart.
I want to go on an Italian basketball tour. They might offer me a contract.

Are we out of the running for Jalen Brunson/stopped recruiting him?

Such an awesome moment and call.
I'm alright. I have a friend who went to Alabama instead of Michigan, and he has already had enough Alabama over Michigan glory.

Anything to increase the legend of Swag Mattison.

Dude has gotten some serious bounce. Really looking forward to Michigan basketball yet again! In a related note, John Beilein is my hero.
Heard a guy from Texas Tech was suspended two years for "raising hell" and trying to "give 'em what for." Little harsh, if you ask me.
