Anything having to do with RichRod at Arizona. He is no longer our coach, and unless we are playing against him, what he does at Arizona has no impact on our football program. His tenure at UM is in the past, so let's leave it in the past. Going along with that, no more using him to bash on Borges. Look at Denard's placement of the ball, and where Roundtree would have been had he not gotten manhandled. A lot of what I saw last night involved the ball being in a place where only Michigan receivers had a chance to make a play on it. Denard consistently got the ball where it looked like his receivers SHOULD have been.

We should fire Borges and hire a coordinator that will send Denard out running every single play, to be the one taking all the helmet to helmet hits from some of the biggest, fastest, most NFL ready defensemen in all of college football. That would have never lead to a season crushing disaster. Nope.

Also, for the record, if you watched Bama's D you'd know that they always had enough men in the box to take Denard's running lanes away anyways. So he would have been putting Denard in a bad situation, for quite possibly no gain at all.

Jersey talk aside for a moment, why would we suspend the use of helmet numbers for the rest of the season? As far as I remember the players seemed to really like having them, and shouldn't that be the only thing that matters? It's just a number, let them have it I say.

As far as the actual jersey goes.... for some reason it strikes me as more of a hockey jersey than a football one... could just be me.

I understand that if in Mattison's second year, the rushing defense is better, that teams will start passing the ball more due to 3rd and long and whatnot. But even if teams are getting more passing yards per game, shouldn't the completion percentage DROP if the defense if doing it's job well?

I may not post very much, but as the usual million times a day visitor to MGoBlog, I really enjoyed the content you provided, as did much of the community. You should consider this thread as a petition for you to reinstate the updates from before.

I wonder, what if a player has dyslexia? That would warrant accommodations, and make taking any test without help somewhat difficult.

Didn't one of our recent tight end commits say that Coach Hoke told them Michigan would not be taking any more tight ends in this class? Doesn't handing out an offer to another TE send a bad signal to the guys who are already committed, especially if Hoke and co really did tell these kids that they were done recruiting the position?

Was really hoping to get to watch the team in person for the first time. Finally have enough money to afford tickets and travel, and the game is a 3 hour drive away... damnit. Guess I'll either have to make a trek to Lincoln, NE, or move back to Michigan sometime soon. How is the job outlook in the state nowadays?

you have disappointed me in the following ways:

1. People complaining and/or making every argument possible against Boise State. And not just in the world, but on this very board. We have never played them, we most likely won't be playing them anytime in the near future. Quit your fucking bitching. They are a GOOD team, and their season has NO effect on our beloved Wolverines. Quit wishing bad things on them, and rooting for them to lose. We are Michigan fans, and we are above such petty squabbles.

2. Women, in general, have pissed me off this year. If your boyfriend beats you, don't believe you can change him. If you leave a good man for an alcoholic, don't complain about how he won't go to rehab for you. If you choose to date nothing but assholes who treat you poorly, don't complain to me or the other good men how you can't find a good man. Open your eyes, quit being stupid, and quit making excuses for your jerk-off of a man. The longer you complain, the less sorry for you I feel.

3. Men who don't step up and act like real men. Do not beat your women, quit your fucking drinking, and show the good woman that takes care of you and puts up with your shit everyday a little appreciation. You may not see it, but you aren't perfect, and plenty of women who AREN'T in love with you see it. Appreciate what you got and do better to be the type of man that your family can be proud of.

4. Oklahoma. Just the state in general. Everything about you, from your weather, to your residents, to your sports teams (Thunder aside) is absolutely horrible.

For 5 years I have been asking that same question. I mean, this is the same state that passed legislation which said the state is exempt from laws passed by the federal government that they don't agree with.

Texas isn't the only state stupid enough to try succeding from the Union.

however, OU is not. Their loss should move them to the bottom of the one loss teams. Have you seen how horrendous TTU is? I would like to know how you justify the ranking of OU.

I think Hoke has changed the tide on the rivalry. Hell people in Ohio are starting to believe him. Never in a million years I would have thought that. Selling Michigan jerseys is a good start.

Unfortunately, not expecting such an amazing shirt that must be bought to appear, I hadn't budgeted well enough to buy the shirt when it was available. I also only get paid every two weeks, which of course, skipped the Friday when the shirt was available.

So, Six Zero, if you do decide on another run of this shirt for those of us too unlucky to have got it the first time around, make sure you slap Brian until he front pages it everyday that it is available. Lord knows we don't have enough front page content!

It saddens me greatly that Michigan isn't a school of interest for CB LEVITICUS PAYNE. If he ends up at Lil Brother, it will leave quite the horrible taste in my mouth.

Do you think Michigan is looking at that female kicker from Akron? She's perfect on the season, has great accuracy, and is better than any of our current options. Why can't Michigan be the first D-1 school to recruit a female football player? I'll take a competent woman kicker over what we have any day.
