I do what I do well.
I certainly don't groan or half-ass my way through a procedure but I'm not the only person I know in my profession who feels this way... There are friends of mine who work less than me and make more but just aren't crazy about the work.
But that's being an adult, I guess.

I would have followed my heart and tried to work in Hollywood in some capacity. I love that particular storytelling medium and its structure.
I'm not too crazy about being a dentist... It has its rewards but it's certainly not my passion.

Yes, 4 million is a lot of money but people make it seem like our university and athletic department actually need it.
SPOILER ALERT: They don't.
|2 weeks 11 hours ago||Not to make this about me, but...||
My father, a Michigan alum and native, a man who was friends with Dennis Franklin and other former football players while he was a student, and the reason why I went to Michigan died from colon cancer a little over two months ago, a week before my birthday.
He was 66.
They caught it late and I've put off moving on with my life and advancing my career to help care for him. But ultimately it was for naught.
I pray with every fiber of my being that your wife will be healed and recovers with minimal pain.
And yes, FUCK cancer.

You mean, if Nike JUST did it?
It was either them or the Swoosh. I don't look hot wearing my family, they don't make me jump higher or hit harder, so... They had to go.

That'll never happen. The swoosh has been a staple in my wardrobe for over a decade and I'm only 25...
One DOES NOT simply stop liking Nike.
And plus, we need a sexy new brand to go with our attractive new coach. Those two variables plus wins equals top recruiting classes, trust me.

Yeah, I don't doubt. My only questions are:
1) How fast can Rudock learn the offense, and how quickly can that light a fire under Morris' ass?
2) How quickly can TWO running backs establish themselves?
3) ... How fast can Drake Harris recover from his injury?

I hate to hear this... But for some reason, I feel like it's just a matter of time before we hear about Drake Harris taking a medical redshirt. I hope that day never comes because that's the one that'll hurt the most.
Good luck to 'Fleet, if true.

From what I've been able to gather around the interwebs and those in the know:
Michigan met with Under Armor last week; met with Nike this morning and probably as I type this; and meets with Adidas tonight and tomorrow.
Adidas is apparently, and understandable so, pulling out all stops to get us to stay/re-sign a contract, but I've heard Harbaugh prefers Nike, as do the student athletes, and they're definitely leaning towards a change to accompany the new shift in climate and culture.
Money isn't the issue, our atheletic department isn't hurting anywhere except for our football team's wins column; therefore, the likelihood of us re-signing with Adidas is pretty much slim to none.

You mean Michigan deciding on switching to Nike today?
Yep, sounds about right.
|3 weeks 2 days ago||It'd be much more appropriate||
It'd be much more appropriate if this ad said "PROTECT THE BIG HOUSE."
But I digress... Someone said on the 247 that Harbaugh is a Nike guy so it'll be an uphill battle for Adidas. I don't expect us to be back with them.
No matter how much money they throw at us I'd be willing to bet double that amount that Hackett is going to go with the brand the (football) athletes prefer most...
Which is Nike.

... The more it translates to:
"It would be very painful..." Translation: Did you know Jim Harbaugh is the new Michigan football coach?
"But you're a big guy." Translation: Considering your success, how do you feel about that?
"... For you." Translation: Have you seen his track record? You should be scared.
A whole lotta coaches are squirming knowing a fire is about to rise. Harbaugh is college football's reckoning.

Still salty that I didn't make it to that game; my friends opted to have the bachelor party in North Carolina instead where we saw Liverpool play AC Milan... And it wasn't as exciting as the highlights I saw of Man U match at the Big House.

Born in Michigan. Grew up in Ann Arbor my whole life. U of M was my first, second, and third choice of colleges to attend... But in actuality, I didn't have a great college experience. Didn't find it a very warm and accepting environment despite having nothing but fond memories of Ann Arbor in my adolescence.
Very cliquy; met a lot of kids who came from very well-off families and backgrounds and seemed to have all the right ingredients on paper but had terrible attitudes. Didn't encounter a lot of people who embodied the term 'Michigan Man'.
Made it through undergrad and grad school but kinda wish I had went elsewhere.
Will always be proud to be a Wolverine, though, despite it all.
