The same former players were the source of Art Regner a couple of weeks ago and he was very confident. Also, DB wants Brady Hoke because he would be a company man and a safe hire which is very important to CEO's.
90% of the Michigan fans and alumni want Harbaugh (just like we wanted Les Miles last time around) but the people in the administration do not want him.
Brady Hoke is Michigan's #1 guy according to Ryan Ermanni and that "Dave Brandon loves Brady Hoke and May Sue Coleman does not want him here because of his nasty divorce, DUI and speaking against the school." The people at Michigan (the president and AD) want it to seem like they made a run at him and that he rejected us. Basically we have Les Miles all over again... if this is true then DB is just as bad as Bill Martin.
People need to understand that Harbaugh is not coming because DB/MSC never offered him the job and do not want him at U of M. This has nothing to do with Stanford or the NFL, if he was offered the job I'm sure he would have been our coach after the OSU game.
So after 3 years of blowing up the program and going in a different direction, we are now gonna go back and end up with Lloyd's guy?
BTW-Sam and Ira on WTKA, Karsch on 97.1 and now Ryan Ermanni is pushing for Brady Hoke and saying he would be a good hire that would have the support of former players. Seems to me like Art Regner was right all along... DB/MSC never wanted Harbaugh and Hoke has been the guy since 3 weeks ago.
