I don't post much but saw in "that forbidden paper" that Marvin has been charged with home invasion. That it involves another dorm room and gaming console. This might help explain his recent absence from football activities. Did not see it posted and thought I would pass it on.
I know the jury is still out on GERG and the defense (at least as far as long term success goes). I am wondering how the defensive recruits are viewing things. They have to be taking note of the defensive problems and the constant bad mouthing by the national media and the Michigan faithful.
Do they see the troubles on defense as youth and inexperience and an opportunity for immediate playing time? Or do they see the GERG experiment short lived and lacking of the coaching that will take them to pinacle of their individual talents? I hope it is the later....
Looking back, isn't it Donovan Warren who left because he felt like he had not learned from the coaching staff? Maybe I am way off base but I am concerned about how recruits view our defensive struggles.......looking at the glass half full or half empty.
Kelly looks mad at poor old Harbaugh. Chip Kelly and Brian Kelly should be brothers. I think both of them are snakes and cant stand either. Would love to see Standford kick the duck out of....well you know...
Lewan is an aggressive young player and wants to take anyones head off that HE sees do wrong by him. He had many penalties as a HS player and has had many head ons with his own team mates. This may be what has and will continue to keep him off the field. Keeping that aggression in check is what it sounds like he needs to learn and channel at this point. That will come in time and in coaching, both on and off the field. The sky is the limit for this kid though.....
First post. Longtime reader. I created an account on account of the Indiana fans and how they reacted when Denard went down. He originally got up and attempted to walk on his own and then went down. At that point the cheers errupted and my stomach became upset. I cannot fathom why one would cheer when ANY player gets injured. I understand the travesty and injustice Indiana thinks they have gone through over the years, but to cheer ANY player being injured is truely and uttlerly classless in every respect of the word. My two cents being a newby but long time reader.....

Question: Do you think Jeff Casteel would be doing that much better or is this a defense that is just not suited for the BIG 10?
