I like the hire. Now we just need 2 more things to consider the offseason a success despite the down year in recruiting: Shea’s confirmed eligibility and Calvin Anderson.
I wrote a letter of continued interest to the admissions officer that covered my school, mainly updating her on my grades and extracurriculars. Also had my counselor send in my 7th semester transcript. I’d say doing both of these helps a lot.
As someone who was deferred in December last year and then later accepted in March, don’t be discouraged if you don’t get in right away. I’ve come to know that’s what happened to a lot of students here. Good luck to you!
He was two years older than me when he came in from NJ to John Belein's Player Development basketball camp in the summer of 2013. I was on his team. You will not meet a nicer kid than he was. He took me under his wing at the camp and we had a blast together that week. We remained friends and kept in touch on social media for a few years following that summer and I was shocked when I heard the news about him. I will always remember Evan.
Penn State reminds me a lot of Michigan in 2012. A lot of hype after a solid year with some lucky plays, as well as returning a star or two. I see them losing to Michigan and Ohio State as well as getting upset somewhere along the way. 9-3 at best
