We've had a JUCO before. That middle linebacker a few years ago who didn't pan out into much.

SVP and Russillo rip him all the time for doing this and that's why that show is great. Ryen's impersonation of him is dead-on too.

You never believe anyone and hate on everything. All Harbaugh news that's positive is true and all Harbaugh news that's negative is lies. FIGURE IT OUT SALVATORE!!!!!

You would not have faired well in the violent, wild days of Haloscan. Oh how I yearn for that simple yet chaotic comment system.

It's not a yes or no situation. There are negotiations beyond just pay. They may be discussing input on the future AD hire, timing of announcement and a lot of otherwise nuisances that go into this. We don't know if there was a maybe answer or a "yes, but wait two weeks".

No. I'm sorry bit I doubt an adult version of Harbaugh pines for Michigan's acceptance like he did back then. Plus, we need him more than he needs us. For UM to "string him along" would be quite possibly to dumbest strategy in the history of coaching searches. Any any hiring process or negotiation it's all about leverage. We have none other than his love for Bo and the program that UM was 20 years ago. His leverage is a fan base dying for him. In negotiation a the person who wants it the most wins.

That's how we gotta back at App St for the football loss. What! Take that App State!

What if Moose and Squirrel discuss Harbaugh? Those two seem like the kind of people whose opinions are worth discussing.

Franklin was the better option without question. Mullen star is really only shiny because of this year. While he's been a candidate for jobs in the past a guy like Franklin last year blows him away without this season.

I heard Cowherd say that but he is uninformed on most things. He's probably the worst at ESPN in regards to just saying things for the sake of saying something. When Russillo does his Cowherd impersonation it's spot on with how absurd his opinions are.

Stay away from the Internet forever and always. And when you absolutely can't stay away...never go to a message board. Just go hit on girls and in a couple years try to find a way to get beer. Do that forever.

Feels like you broke up with a girl who was nice but just not going to be marriage material. You feel awful doing it but better once you ended it. Then the worry and panic sets in as you wonder "will I really find someone better and what if my dream girl isn't out there".

Oh and we named our new dog Annie. The wife didn't want a Michigan theme so I didn't mention until later that Annie was my way of sneaking in Ann Arbor.

First dog was named Bo. Convinced my parents to name their dog Millie after Bo's wife since my dog Bo loved her when they brought her home.

He was a great kid when he got here. He stood up to all the critics and owned up to mistakes and the adversity may have made him a better person but he would have come out of any university and been a great representative. I give no credit to this program for making him who he was because he would have been that way no matter where he went. We just got to see the best of him because of all the nonsense. This program owes him everything.

RR inherited a mess as well and while there were a lit of issues into his dismissal he was improving the team every year. This program has regressed under Hoke and that is the issue. You are correct when you say that rebuilding a program takes time but RR left a 7-5 team that went on to win 11 games the next year and Hoke has run that into the ground. These are almost all his recruits and they're not performing. I like the guy but he's not getting the job done.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||What did I ignore? I haven't||
What did I ignore? I haven't read all of his comments on football so I could be missing something. I was just saying that Hoke runs a clean program and the University brass probably appreciates that, especially after the drama of Brandon. Couple that with him being a person people like and you have a couple reasons not to fire the guy if you're the president.

|3 weeks 5 days ago||The difference with Hoke and||
The difference with Hoke and Brandon is that people hated Brandon and he said/did things that embarrassed the school. Granted, the teams performance is embarrassing in the college football world but not to the University. If there was scandal or cheating or sanctions it would be different but I don't know if Schissel cares about wins and losses as much as another Pres. I think Hoke is gone but it's hard to fire nice people especially in circumstances like this. It's a possibility he's here next year. Not likely but still a possibility given the current climate.

I forgot about Pelini. While he's not the sexiest name he has won and we would take their record over the past 5 years. Thanks.

This gets forgotten by a lot of people, myself included, but 18 year old kids, away from home for the first time, playing in front of big crowds and not the alpha-dog for the first time....get nervous. These kids will get better and I just try to remember how nervous I was to walk into Psych 101 when I was a freshman and laugh at the thought of me trying to walk into Crisler and actually make a shot without crapping my pants.

Do you know his coaching tree? I've never looked into it so I'm curious who he's put out there. I know Chavis has been with him awhile and probably could have taken a HC if he wanted but appears to be set at DC.

But really, that's all people need to do from ages 18-55. A good advisor know that it's from 55 on that you earn your money with tax advise, healthcare options, insurance services, diversification, etc.
I would always recommend people max their retirements first but if you still have left over savings you need diversify into things outside of the market. Most advisors won't explain the benefits of owning income-producing R/E because they don't make the advisor money. Nor will most go into life insurance, fixed annuity or long-term care insurance which is really what a lot of baby boomers should worry about with the increasing cost of healthcare. Most just tell you to put it all in the market because historically it makes 8%. Then you get set to retire and the market dives 20% and now you can't retire because it was all in one basket.
