I know you've had a lot of people offer help so I'm not offended if your all set and I don't hear from you but feel free to email me at: |
| 4 years 8 weeks ago | I just wanted to play video |
I just wanted to play video games. I have the transcript right here. |
| 4 years 9 weeks ago | I didn't say football |
I didn't say football experience, though that argument could be made. In HS he probably played more games by being a 3-4 year starter and the HS all-star games. But, playing at Duke and being hated by every opposing fan gives one a form of experience that Sheridan has none of. So, really he has more experience in athletics and quite possibly in football. |
| 4 years 9 weeks ago | True, but there are a lot of |
True, but there are a lot of times when people argue against something even when cold-hard evidence is flying in their face. Also, I was more after the reason why he thinks Paulus won't play. The original comment offered nothing to discussion and that is just a waste of the internet. |
| 4 years 9 weeks ago | Talent is talent and I'm not |
Talent is talent and I'm not saying he's better than Forcier but I think he's on-par or better than Sheridan. I know what we're getting with Sheridan and though he may be improved, Paulus has more talent, more maturity and more experience whether it's basketball or football. Talent is talent and Sheridan has little compared to Paulus. Again, not saying he will be better but the potential is there with Paulus and I don't think it is with Sheridan. |
| 4 years 9 weeks ago | Sources? |
Did one of the coaches tell you that? I'm not saying you're wrong but the worst part about an opinion is when someone states it as a fact. Statements of fact about unknown outcomes is like trying to prove a point by yelling louder than anyone. Brown, you are in no way the only person who does this but it happens so often it's ridiculous. But a lot of people give reasons for their opinion, so at least do that. |
| 4 years 9 weeks ago | Espn mentioned it this |
Espn mentioned it this morning so if it was a joke that proves that ESPN does very little investigating into their stories. |
| 4 years 9 weeks ago | There are only 3 kinds of |
There are only 3 kinds of pregame speeches: 1. A firey "lets kick their ass" speech. 2. A more somber "lets do our job" speech. Usually for an obvious cupcake 3. Al Pacino's speech in Any Given Sunday |
| 4 years 10 weeks ago | I'll have you assholes know |
I'll have you assholes know that Montanan's will come out in droves to support CFB even if it's on this new-fangled "interweb" thing. I know of at least 5 Montanan's with the interwebs and I would bet dollars to donuts that they and all their friends voted for Mingo. Don't ever, ever sully the great state of Montana....ever. |
| 4 years 13 weeks ago | Why don't you buy it? There |
Why don't you buy it? There are thousands of people who read, but aren't registered. So if he reads a lot of threads and finds this guy to be an ass, then why would it be out of the question for him to sign up now to mention it. |

I give you "Full Grown Man" status for these. |

The boats & ho's video is hilarious, but that guy does suck. I like how he's commented on almost every thread except this one. |
| 4 years 13 weeks ago | Say what you want about |
Say what you want about Cowherd being a pompous, arrogant, self-righteous ass...because he is. But he often times right when he talks about sports and how it relates to most people. Hate him or love him he tends to be spot on. He could be Jim Rome and nobody wants to be Rome. |
| 4 years 13 weeks ago | You're right. Making |
You're right. Making character assumptions about someone, based on the first thing you hear or infer about them is HARD. If it was easy then everyone would be on the internet casting judgement on 18 yr olds based on when and how they announce their commitment. But instead there's a select few who do that for us, like Tater. |
| 4 years 13 weeks ago | He did things that were |
He did things that were different and in the shady world of recruiting, different is a mortal sin. |
| 4 years 13 weeks ago | He was just saying that you |
He was just saying that you guys knew you were in so the celebration wasn't as special since it was a certainty. UM fans do not believe in certainty unless it is a bad certainty. |
| 4 years 13 weeks ago | No it doesn't. He basically |
No it doesn't. He basically says that you need 16 teams to keep people from bitching. Not that they could actually win, which they could. He says that he'll put aside his logic (that no 8+ seed could win) to appease angry people. How is that better than the current system? How does he know a 17 seed has no right to gripe? 15-25 in rankings are not that different and going with that many teams makes it more objective. His whole argument is flawed and that paragraph should point that out. |
| 4 years 13 weeks ago | I once had a teacher tell me |
I once had a teacher tell me that an entire paper I had written contained a lot, but said little. You do that a lot. You write lengthy posts that say little that is actually correct. Like this gem: "Yes, but unlike basketball, the 17th best team has no chance of winning the NC in a playoff unless the ratings are badly skewed. Until a number sixteen seed wins, there would really be no reason to gripe. I am guessing that nobody below eight would win, but letting sixteen teams in is a great way to make sure nobody with a legitimate chance is left out." That whole thing is just a paragraph of hot-garbage. |
| 4 years 13 weeks ago | Wrong |
There was a 5* kicker from Montana who went to Oklahoma them proceeded to drink his way to some NAIA school. There are 5* kickers, they only get the extra 2+ stars for being a badass from Montana. Edit: He was a 5* to Scout. Rivals did give 4* in the 2002 class though, which was his. Still, you have to be Montanan to get the extra star. |

You are a woman of questionable morality. |
| 4 years 14 weeks ago | I was just asking |
if you actually knew he was being paid. The original article didn't mention it. Also, there are a lot of people who do this and there are companies designed to handle recruiting for players. The one I know of is used by non-star players (NAIA, DII, & 1AA level) to get film out and build awareness and also because these coaches at small schools have a hard time finding the right kids because there are so many of them out there. My buddy used a company like that because he wanted to play anywhere but wasn't good enough to warrant a D-1 scholarship. I'm not saying that Butler is legit, just saying that it's more likely to be legit since he is a business and not a 'family friend' like in the OJ Mayo case. Neutral third party of sorts. |

This is like a script out of some shitty "Not another teen movie" I love it. Also, UMx: Do a google image search for "dead horse", then print the picture out and beat up on that picture for a good week or two. |
| 4 years 14 weeks ago | No, I labeled him a troll |
No, I labeled him a troll because he had been registered on Mgo for 20 minutes by the time I read the post. And the argument was a complete and utter attempt to get people riled up. It's like kicking an anthill. Did you notice how he hasn't defended anything he wrote? It's fine if you think Denard is already ahead of Tate is just throwing gas on the fire. |
| 4 years 14 weeks ago | Troll Recipe |
Ingredients: 1 Troll 1.Wash troll and remove giblets from inside. Dry troll and rub with butter on all sides. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Be sure to get some salt and pepper on inside. Put in crock pot in early morning (about 8:00 a.m.). Turn crock pot to low - let cook all day. When returning home from work about 4:00 or 5:00 you will have a delicious baked troll. Remove from crock pot with spatula to keep from falling apart. You will have about 2 cups of troll broth in pot. Use for gravy over rice or mix with Stove Top stuffing instead of water. Garnish with spices and enjoy! Serves 6-8 people. |
