One More Win

One more win folks. One more win...

Thank you Wonderful thread everyone. It's always tough to see such terrific kids go as seniors. We are all fortunate enough to have had such a amazing class of 2012 in both football and basketball. Zack and Stuart, you will be missed but never forgotten. Go Blue.
LIverpool

I became a Liverpool fan because I liked the Beatles... I would agree in comparing them to the Red Sox (long title drought, fan base is generational, tradition, and so on). Funny how both clubs are now owned by the same people. I can't wait to make my trip to Anfield in October. A guy from Liverpool who sat at my bar told me, "Just remember, you didn't choose them, it chose you." Ha, take that how you will.

Family

Have to agree, having a newborn must have played a factor in not wanting to move out of the Bay Area. I'm very disappointed that Harbaugh is not coming back to Ann Arbor, but if this was a factor (which I'm sure it was), I can surely respect that.

Freeb!rds

Yes, this is one of the best drunk food places ever (Its open 24 hours). I did happen to have some sober on Tuesday, it was still good.

I'm In SB

Not sure if I can make the game tonight though because of work... Hopefully they can get to the final on Sunday, I can make that one. Go Blue!

Skinny M

I've been looking for this hat for so long... I finally found it on Moe's Sports site and recently got it. I'm very happy with my Cyber Tuesday sale purchase.

Traffic?

FWIW, I live/work here in SB and the town has been pretty dead since Thanksgiving so I don't know how much traffic there will be coming up from LA. I imagine the standard amount, but nothing more.

LA area M fans

How about Santa Barbara based ones...? Haha.

Plaschke sucks

Plaschke is an awful writer who loves to preach and complain about things for the Los Angeles Times. As a West Coast M fan, I have to listen to him spew garbage about my Dodgers all the time. Never thought he would come after one of my other favorites...

Disappointing but encouraging... We lost to a top 15 team on the road and had a -4 turnover margin. Our promising freshman qb made a lot of mistakes and will hopefully learn a lot from this experience tonight. Sure, I wish that they were 6-0 and competing for championship this year but realistically that wasn't going to happen. We played tough and almost came back to beat a good Iowa football team. The program is on its way back up and hopefully all the youngsters can build on their impressive start to this season and learn from the mistakes and grow as football players. Despite the disappointment by losing another close game on the road, I still believe that there were a lot of promising and encouraging things that took place tonight. Go Blue and we now need to take care of business next weekend.
RockinLoud Yes, I still live in Santa Barbara, what years where you at Westmont? Any other Californians? I run into a ton of Ohio St. people here...it sucks...
Santa Barbara, CA My Grandma started betting a quarter with me on every UM OSU game since I was about six (1990). She was from Ohio so naturally she picked Ohio St. Have been a Michigan fan ever since (I won a lot of quarters those days, she died before I had to start paying up this decade). My great uncle was one of the founders and original dean of the RC at UM. I remember hearing Keith Jackson refer to Biakabatuka as "Touchdown Tim." Only been to one game and not even at Michigan Stadium...someday...
