I never watched college footbal until I became a freshman here at Michigan in 2008. In that year we won 3 games. I still wanted to get to every game early. I don't think its a richrod effect, but rather a growing culture of tailgating for as long as you can.
Robinson at #15 isn't suprising to me. His impact on this team is not talked about nearly enough. He shoots the ball better than Hardway and has more athleticism. I don't think he will leave yet because he doesn't much have much responsiblity on this team yet, but I bet he will show enough to be a top 10 pick next year if both Burke and Hardway decide to leave.
I can't beleive people are discrediting his abilities. There's only so many scholarships to hand out every year. We can't get everyone! It's not like Dantonio is just picking up the scraps ...
I feel like a lot of that has to do with winning. I bet if it was Rich Rod coaching last year and won 11 games, then he would have gotten close to 19 yes.
USC is a powerhouse and will be in NC contention next year. MIchigan has yet to get on that level and probably wont for at least another 2 or 3 years. Once we get on that level, we will start to win much more of these recruiting battles.
I say we are winning 9, so under. It will be a tough season and our success depends on if DRrob can play the way he did against Nebraska and OSU all year next year.

In all honesty, I see the band as part of the team. They work just as hard as the players and for them to be told that they are not going is insulting. DB should be ashamed by this. The athletic department has a surplus of cash anyways.

MIke Martin was from catholic central as well. We also have Brian Cleary from U of D Jesuit (another walk on QB and current back up).
