Before I was born my family lived in Dearborn and my brother became a fan, after that we moved to San Dimas, California where I was born and then to Columbus. Long story short I grew up rooting for Michigan because my brother did but was too young to really understand the problem of being a Michigan fan in Columbus. The kids at school didnt take too long to enlighten me.
Last week I was helping my gf move into her place for an internship is about to start in Disney World (Orlando). Needless to say I was drug into the universal studios theme park for most of the day on Saturday.
Thanks to the wonders of modern technology though I was able to keep up to date on the game with my ESPN Scorecenter app on my android phone.
Just to give some context, I live in Cincinnati so I obviously couldnt run home to watch.
I went to Miami (not that Miami) and I always hate when people say I am not a true fan because I didnt attend the school. I am on this site enough to consider read the content a full time job. GO BLUE!

I wouldnt trust any password unless it had at least one number and a capital letter.
In my professional life I am actually a Flex/Java Developer and have been thinking about making an AIR app mashup of Theatre listings, imdb info, and rotten tomatoes reviews.
Unfortunately, I havent had the time to devote to it and I dont think Rotten Tomatoes even has a public API. However, I still think it could be pretty cool especially since Adobe is coming out with their AIR app store called Shibuya which is in Beta right now. Though I havent read it, they provide code that you can just plug in to your source that will automatically provide free trials and stuff. Its pretty interesting.

My first girlfriend got me an osu t-shirt for valentines day a week after we starting dating. She knew i was a Michigan fan but her being an OSU fan she was pretty dumb. I took permanent marker and crossed out the block O and replaced with sucks.
i believe it is possible, i was still coherent after 15 in an hour. as long as you arent retarded and have good friends you wont die. Though on my 21st i did wake up in the bathroom with the door being broken down on top of me.
Cant say much about summit and 12th but I assume its near South campus. I am however surprised that Lane and Neil is there because thats the area North of Campus which I thought was safe.
It is pretty much just a bunch of shitty houses and apartments. My bitch ex used to live in an apartment just a block north of that intersection.
I cant say much of crime but I was hassled by a lot of drunk OSU fans in that area. However, I do remember being hassled by homeless pretty much everytime I walked down High Street which is about 2-3 blocks east of there. Moral of the story is, Columbus is a steaming pile of crap with stop lights.
Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. With all due respect to the alums, the stands should be packed with fans willing to brave some cold weather. Fans of convenience aren't really fans. Also I have lived in Columbus and have had the displeasure of being on campus during one of their night games.
I may hate OSU fans but they show up and get excited no matter what. What does that say about Michigan if the fans dont want a night game because they dont want to be cold? No team wants to have "Fairweather" fans (see what I did there ;) ). However,
since I dont live in AA I do not know how it would affect the city so I will pass that on to people who do.
Columbus, but the party's host just backed out on us (untrustworthy osu fans). So now I must brave the night life of Cincinnati in my pursuit of blackout. Its all well and good though because even though I have lived most of my life in Cbus im scared for my life everytime I wear M gear and now that Cincinnati is doing well everyone down here hates OSU.
Hot Dougs is by far the best. Go on a Friday/Saturday and you can get the fries cooked in duck fat (the best way). Unfortunately it closes early on weekends, 2ish maybe, and you will have to wait in line for at least an hour. Weekdays I have heard the line isnt bad at all but I havent seen it first hand.
