Also, don’t forget that recruiting news is only about half as important as it used to be before the advent of the transfer portal. We get some good ones that leave and lose out on some good ones that eventually come. Signing day used to be quite a production and now it’s a passing glance. For me, Zach Charbonnet was the straw that broke the camels back.

I learned the info by talking to my source at the game. I am not a lawyer. I posted my translation of what I heard him say. I will not reveal the source’s identity, but I can verify that it is legitimate that he would know this type of info. It did not sound to me like he was directly working the case.
We will all find out over the next couple of days if all of this is legit. If it’s not, either my source was full is shit or the Big Ten backed off. I’m hoping for the latter…..

According to my source, Harbaugh will be suspended indefinitely on Monday. The university is preparing a lawsuit against the conference and asking for an immediate stay on the suspension. Grounds for the suit are violation of conference rules on investigations and irreparable harm from the timing of the suspension. My source works for the law firm representing UM in this case. The firm is working this weekend to determine whether to file the suit in local, state, or federal court as reaction time is critical.

Stroud is a better passer from a safe, protected pocket. JJ is better at making plays, running, scrambling, RPO’s, blocking, and as shown on Saturday, he can pass too. I’d take a sophomore JJ over a senior Stroud every day of the week. OSU is not more talented at that position.

The Michigan reprimand is silly. There’s 100 years of precedence on teams marching up that tunnel together, probably jawing at each other, without a helmet-smashing assault (by the way, MSU also only has one tunnel). The B1G was being nice to MSU by calling out Michigan’s tunnel exit decorum. That won’t distract anyone from the toxicity that is MSU football, which sadly has now devolved into criminal behavior, and the fact that they are being forced to publicly acknowledge it.
My favorite part of the conclusion of this regular season is the dichotomy of storylines making national news. UM is riding a wave of football excellence and rivalry dominance, post-season accolades, COY discussions, and Blake Corum handing out turkeys on a sprained knee! Meanwhile, MSU is beleaguered by a losing season without a bowl invitation, overpaid coach discussions, criminal charges, conference fines, and recruiting decommitments.

Best day game environment I’ve ever witnessed in over 40 years of going to Michigan Stadium. Even 1997 OSU game wasn’t as electric as today. The 12th man hit OSU hard and they didn’t know how to respond. 5 false starts too. Go blue!
I have been very tough on Gattis. His performances since arriving have not been what I expected. Today was his best day at Michigan. A masterful game plan and play-calling exhibition. What a great day to show us all that he can really do it. And credit to Sherrone Moore and Mike Hart too. Brilliant day fellas. Go blue!

On 7/29, I posted to a thread here that we would be a 9 or 10 win team with losses to OSU, ND, and possibly PSU. I didn’t expect to beat ND or lose to Wisconsin. I still expect to lose to OSU. And, defense remains my biggest concern as it has been for a couple years now. Still hopeful that Harbaugh gets his first victory against tSIO. Don Brown needs to call the game of his life. Go blue!
