... App State's team has been competing for national championships over an extended period of time. With the Big Ten/ Sec raiding the Big East, 12, ACC, those conferences are going to be looking to rebuild their ranks from C- USA, Sunbelt, once again, Big East. We know what direction things roll.
... to Mr. Robinson and the UM supporters... I feel that this is a pretty cool ordeal. This is something to be proud of, as he represents his school, conference, and college football as a whole. I proudly wear the scarlet and gray, but Denard always seemed like a quality individual; one, who has earned my respect. Wolverine fans, please enjoy the fact that each time I play my favorite video game, I will have to physically grab a case that bears the maize and blue and have to deal with that. Very good write-up... It was a really nice comparison to Bill Walsh and the success that his teams obviously had. I can see Hoke progressing your Wolverines to get back there. Did Walsh have any UM ties? I apologize for not knowing. Also, when do you think Derrick Green becomes #1 on the depth chart?
Congrats UM fans for getting another great O-line prospect. I said a few days ago that I have been worried about your recent recruiting class, especially your depth in the offensive trench. I liked what I have seen with the vids on Cole and wish him luck. The O-line is a great place to have an embarrassment of riches and it looks like UM is obtaining that...
It is all good, and I agree with you. I feel that Urban is bringing in one bruiser to compliment the speed he is bringing in on the edge. OSU fans are really big on Ezekiel Elliot, who is part of this past recruiting class, and was recruited as the sole stereotypical running back for this past class. They also brought in Dontre Wilson who is more of the speedy, edge guy. The Bucks are going to have a deep stable of backs with Hyde coming back, in addition to Jordan Hall coming back from his medical redshirt year as their senior leaders. They will also have Rod Smith who saw time in the backfield and on kick returns, but also fits the mold of a bruiser type RB and will be a junior. Throw in Bri'onte Dunn (soph) and Warren Ball (rs frosh) to go along with Elliot and Wilson, the Bucks have a lot of options, with a mix of bruisers and speed backs. With that said, I hope Green doesn't come back to haunt the Bucks as he grew up a fan of OSU and wears 27 to represent his idol, Eddie George...
I was curious to see that Hood's visit to UM went so well. Not knocking UM or AA, but everything that I have read had him as a strong ND lean, so much so, that I thought he was a near lock to them. Do you think your signing of Green would push him away from UM?
Thank you for the well wishes. I have stated before that I am not here to run my mouth, nor to disrespect. I like reading other perspectives, especially opposing viewpoints, as they often make me a more knowledgeable fan. I think this is a great time to be a fan of either school, as your basketball team seems to be establishing itself as a dominant force for the near future and Hoke and co are getting UM football back to where it belongs. As for conversion of my allegiance, my first Buckeye football memories come from the cooper era, so I have too much heartbreak and discontent for your respected wolverines. Thanks again for letting me contribute to this community.

Thanks for the info, Brimley. I was never really big on the anti-Kalis mindset shared by most of the fan base. Did I want him to be a Buckeye... Yes. Did I want him to go to any other school besides UM... Also yes. Can I blame an 18 year old young man for choosing a great school and great football program... Not so much. I wish him the best but I hope he becomes well acquainted with Noah Spence and Adolphus Washington in the years to come!
