One of my favorite moments of all time was Macho Man running around backstage like an insane person yelling “Where’s Krush?” He then looked in a trash can like a 350lb man could actually be hiding in it. The good ol days.
Very loosely related to everyone steals signs. I used to live in the Bay City area. One day I was driving through a rural part and there was a farm-looking yard with a large sign out front that read “Stop Stealing Our Stuff!!” I wanted to steal that sign in the hopes the next time I drove by I would see a sign that read “Stop Stealing Our ‘Stop Stealing Our Stuff!!’ Sign!!” Unfortunately, I never got around to it.
I hated that drive when I lived in North Raleigh. Glenwood has so many lights and gets crazy between downtown and Crabtree, but it’s really the only way to make that trip. Would be worth it for this game though,
I worked off of Miami Blvd for several years. Considered building a home in Brightleaf (Drees), but ended up in Apex instead. I now live in Southwest Raleigh near Cary Crossroads.
My neighbor is a Buckeye who moved into the neighborhood (Raleigh) three years ago. He watched the game with me and another Michigan fan the last two years. He stayed home for the game this year, but came over afterward to the bonfire. There are still good people out there.
