The nutty Michigan coverage isn't so much about Harbaugh as it is a signal to the Big Ten that Fox wants to party.

1) Michigan outgained Utah last year, 301 yds vs. 280yds. Gardener threw 3 interceptions, there was one fumble

Eh, whatever. Not crazy about it, but it's pretty subtle so it's rather innocuous.

|3 weeks 1 day ago||yeah, no.||
there are some things that don't need to be verbalized or written on message boards - this would be one of them; the subtext is enough.

Looks like the NFL is about to lose in Federal court based on the tone of questioning. F-Yes. #FreeBrady #Harbaugh #GoBlue

When Michigan wins.

maybe for one or two plays. I've seen worse ideas the last eight years.

I'll answer the question for you - no charges were filed.
|5 weeks 2 days ago||can we stop this bullshit||
unless charges are filed, it's her word against his. There may be some compelling evidence, but these are allegations, not charges. This is a criminal allegation, handled by police. It stayed as an allegation.No charges were brought against either of these players.
The dismissal from the team is a judgement call, made by the person making that judgement. But that does not make any sort of legal judgement, which is the judgement which matters most.
It's reprehensible that a person on the football team would even be in a situation where this was alledged, but I'm really sick of this things being thrown around without the full context of the situation (a lack of charges being brought)

Williams? Swarthmore? Pamona?
lol. And don't give me this "they're great schools!" nonsense.
These Forbe articles are nothing but an open hand from Forbes to have these smaller schools get advertisement and for Forbes to get some back door money - enrollment at small liberal art schools has been in decline since the last recession. Gee, I wonder why?
They're paying to have articles/rankings written like this so they can try and reverse the declining enrollment.

In order for us to move the contract needle in 14 years, it may need to be a tick (Nike) / tock (somebody else) to get these big bumps.
It will be interested to see what college football looks like in 2031.
|7 weeks 6 days ago||everybody has to start somewhere||
why not here, and why not now? Also, who are they lining up against that has you worried so much prior to October 17th and the last Saturday in November? Do we not have the coach that can actually take talent and develop it? Is the talent and coaching we face outside of two Saturdays really better? In my estimation, it's not.
Last time I checked, our current guy has done that better than anyone else in the country.
|7 weeks 6 days ago||tired of the defeatist bullshit here||
which is not based on any forward looking realistic projection. Yes, the past was bad. Really bad. The talent _is there_ though. The coach sucked. He was a talent and food black hole.
If you don't think there will be a marked improvement from the WR group (admitedly, it wouldn't take much) then I would love to hear your thoughts on how Harbaugh must be coachspeak bullshitter with respect to his comment on how he expects this group to compete for a national championship.
|7 weeks 6 days ago||...||
with a guy who couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag.
Look, there's a reason why Harbaugh said he's looking to win a national championship this year and it's not just coachspeak - the dude knows the hand he has relative to the schedule he's playing; he knows it can be done.
|7 weeks 6 days ago||have you not read brian's posts or watched the tape?||
Rudock is good. Not great, just good. He actually limits his mistakes and has shown he can thread the needle in the few moments that Iowa asked him to that, which wasn't nearly as often as it should have been, because Iowa.
WR 1 - Chesson
WR 2 - Darboh
RB1 - Johnson
No I don't know the future, but based on what I've seen/heard, that's what I'm going with.
|7 weeks 6 days ago||I don't see the OOC part as being very tough||
Utah is missing some key personnel where we would definitely benefit from - for our passing game to work on Game 1, we definitely need some help there. And we got it - Ruddock + their two CB's graduating/replacement CB being dismissed from the program.
BYU - tough, but at home. Offense/Defense should start hitting their stride by this game.
Oregon State - win
UNLV - garbage.
Maryland - might be difficult, but we have a talent/coaching advantage.
It's the Minnesota/PSU games that are a bit tricky - playing at night in Happy Valley is never easy. But their OL (still) sucks. We can win that.
sparty - hand to hand combat
ohio state - war
if we can break through and beat sparty, this team gets a huge shot of confidence and is entirely in control of their destiny. And anything can and does happen in games against ohio state.
|7 weeks 6 days ago||lol at them thinking Michigan||
lol at them thinking Michigan won't be great this year. Uh, guys - Utah is very much looking like a win since their two CB's aren't there/new DC. msu game is the fulcrum - we win that, and it's for all the marbles when osu comes to town.

Golden era was late 90s/early 00s ABC College Football.
God, I miss those days. I can still hum the theme music.
|7 weeks 6 days ago||I get ESPN||
In 17Mbit from Comcast in MPEG-2. BTN is usually 12-14Mbit. WXYZ Detroit broadcasts in 12mbit.
It may be marginally higher, but not by much.
|7 weeks 6 days ago||$45/person||
my girlfriend and I pay $50/month for 25mbit down/5mbit up Comcast internet, and $40/month for the TV service via the Slingbox.
So $90 total. I never have to chase down a low bitrate stream, I watch things in 720p @ 60fps, it's legal, and half the price ($180) of the comparable package for other services.
|7 weeks 6 days ago||yep||
similar thing here - I've got two Slingboxes at the 'rents place with 20mbit upload. Sister lives in Chicago - we pay them $40/month each, capping their bill at $100 (total bill is $180)
|7 weeks 6 days ago||Sling?||
has ESPN and ESPN2. No BTN though, probably will never have BTN (BTN exists solely to suck money from basic cable subs in footprint) - https://www.sling.com/package

Nike uses different materials for their high end stuff, idiot. Or did those busted adidas jerseys not make that clear for you?
How about I prefer not to wear ugly adidas shit that also happened to me made of shit materials?
