If the Lions win the division, they would have had a more successful season than Michigan. Although it isn't exactly the same, a division title in the NFL is comparable to a Big Ten championship, which we unfortunately fell short of. But there's still a long way to go for the Lions. I'll believe it when I see it
The first memory I have was of the triple-OT win over MSU in 2004 when I was 6 years old. I was already a diehard fan by that point but that's the first one that I still remember.
I don't understand why we can't play Notre Dame and another power program in the same year. I'd much rather see us lose a tough nonconference game than beat up on a couple of MAC teams. Even if we lose one early we'd still be a playoff lock if we win the Big Ten.
From what I've seen Drake Johnson is clearly the best option we've got at running back. He has great vision that Green and Smith obviously lack. Can't wait to see him back on the field; he'll give our offense a huge boost.
This makes me feel much better about this year's class. I was starting to get frustrated that no big chips have fallen yet, but I guess I'll just have to be patient.
The stadiums are almost completely empty at most of these bowl games already. The enjoyment factor of watching these bowl games is going way down as the competition level decreases. They might as well just let everyone play in a bowl at this point.
None of the players on Seattle or New England were five-stars coming out of high school. Outside of the top few guys, it's nearly impossible to project how these players will translate into the next level. The rankings are fun, but they don't really mean much.
This would be a great fit because of the history and they would be a competitive opponent but aren't necessarily a powerhouse. Would be a good game most years.
There's nothing worse than those September games against CMU that get your hopes up only to have them ripped away when the Big Ten schedule hits. It's time to eliminate the walkover games and start playing teams that will interest the fans and actually prepare them for the conference schedule. Back when we were winning Big Ten titles we played good teams early in year. Even though we lost many of those games, they were exciting and we could still rebound with a conference title. Especially with the playoff in place, a Big Ten title with one loss against an elite nonconference opponent should still get you into the playoff.
The students speaking out is what seems to have really gotten the push for Harbaugh going. Once we got Brandon out of there I knew we had a chance at him. Hackett seems much more dedicated to the tradition of Michigan rather than commercializing everything.
I thought it was disrespectful to Harmon to have Gardner wearing the #98 to "honor" him when all he was doing was running for his life his entire career. There were too many Legends numbers and therefore they were given to undeserving players.
It's too bad the old staff never found an appropriate way to use him. I thought Harbaugh could find a home for him on offense but apparently not. He'll still be useful in the return game though.
I don't see why they wouldn't considering they already have three guys battling for the job who got to work with the offense in the spring plus Rudock.
statistically for the past few seasons but didn't pass the eye test as a dominant defense. They had a bend-don't-break mentality. I'd like to see them take the next step and really shut opponents down.

I love their physical style of play and how they do it the right way. Also they were built by Harbaugh of course.
Does anyone know when student tickets will be arriving?

I was also accepted into the College of Engineering. Can't wait to be a Wolverine!
Ohio State did not look like the best team in the Big Ten for most of the year. Really not until the last week.
It would be great to have both teams be competitive every year. For the sake of the rivalry and plus it would make it much sweeter when we beat them.

Man I just can't wait for the season to start. Two weeks feels like forever right now
I really hope they don't wear those for games.
I'm gonna go into enginneering as a major but minor in journalism and do some writing on the side.
I've been wanting new road uniforms for a long time and these are the perfect answer.
HARBAUGH!!!

Happy birthday Lloyd Carr! Thanks for the national title. Hopefully we can win another one soon.
and now have to play them without Bosa. Hopefully they slip up week one so we can stop hearing about the dynasty Urban Meyer is building.
My sister was born at U of M hospital in the morning and then we beat Notre Dame in the first Under the Lights game
Washington State still wouldn't get in
It's a nice change from the MAC schools
Hands down.
I hate to admit it but thinking Rudock will surpass him this year is a bit of a stretch.
I definitely think Rudock is the answer. His experience will help make the transition to the new regime easier.

I guess I can sleep in a little longer this year.
I have always been a LeBron hater but I have to give him some props for going back to Cleveland. Actually found myself rooting for him this year.
Ohio
Worst state ever.
I've always loved Countess and was rooting for him to win the job this year. Disappointing but I hope he succeeds wherever he ends up.
Or it could mean they didn't develop guys the way Lloyd did.

No question about this one. The atmosphere every week at different games around the country is unmatched by any other sport.

Wisconsin back on the schedule. We have avoided them since they got really good but I'd like to see that matchup once we get back on track.
Most of the kids they're recruiting don't remember Michigan being good either. At least Harbaugh gives them some respectability with these kids.

That's the first game that came to mind for me too. What a game!

everyone expected Morris to be the solid starter entering this season.

The recruits are finally starting to role in! Harbaugh had me worried there for a while.

He just never got anything out of his players. Harbaugh has plenty of talent to work with.
how many years of eligibility Rudock has left? I've heard 1 year from some people and 2 from others.
