- Keep the legends jerseys, hand them out to freshman that want them (if they need to write a paper or whatever that's cool too) and if a number becomes available I don't have a problem with an upperclassmen asking to switch either.
- No helmet stickers. Sorry, Bo.
- No more home alternates. I'm fine with the away jersey being changed around and I'd prefer more white and less piping.
- I absolutely don't get the QB 98 hate. It wouldn't work for everyone, actually Gardner is probably the only recent QB who "fits", but he looked awesome in 98. If he won 20-21 games and made that two point conversion in 2013 I don't think anyone would be complaining.

I was at Founders for the first time last week and they tapped a keg of Canadian Bacon Breakfast Stout. It was magical, and I'm not a big stout guy.
Right now its mimosas and crab dip, going to make the stuffing/bacon balls with cider later and then probably hit some whisky to finish off the night.

I agree that there's no way Harbaugh is this valuable but the football team has direct revenues of $82m and the sponsorships and whatnot push it close to $100m in annual revenue. With yearly revenue that high the football team has to be quite a bit more valuable than that, right?
I do think someone could back up a case that he's worth $100-150m over five or six years, though.

I agree money should be the deciding factor between Adidas and Nike but I'd definitely want the AD to do some due diligance on UA's shoes and make sure they could provide competitive equiptment in sports like hockey where their size disadvantage really shows.

If it's not Harbaugh, I'm going to go crazy and I'm going to start attacking people. If it is Harbaugh, in all honesty I might just burn this whole place down out of happiness. Either way I'm going to need some talking down.

I've had two bottles of his Sauvignon Blanc (2012, 2013) and gifted the Cabernet Sauvignon (2009) to my best friend over the summer, but he hasn't opened it up yet. The Sauvignon Blanc is the best I've had from California, although I don't pretend to be a wine expert and I almost always go for a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand anyway, and generally prefer Chilean before buying from California.
I know you're in/close to Ann Arbor, they have the Sauvignon Blanc at Plum Market for twenty bucks (the Cabernet retails at $112 but I supposedly got the last bottle in Ann Arbor in March for $99). Definitely worth a try, it was great with shallots and also just with cheese, olives and bread another night.
On a related note @TwentyFourWines is a good follow on Twitter, some behind the scenes pictures with Charles Woodson that are definitely cool to see and then obviously info about what the vineyard itself has going on.

He knows his stuff, better than the vast majority here (or any other fan-centric sites I've been to).
I don't know if you've been around longer than you've been a poster, but SpaceCoyote has a wide knowledge base about coaching in general and isn't some Sparty obsessed internet tough guy. For example he's been featured by a Wisconsin blog talking about their schemes and he's written for this site's magazine as well as a bunch of other things I'm probably forgetting at one in the morning.

I could be the walrus, I'd still have to bum rides off of people.

Realistically we'll be retaining an assistant or two, Nussmeier has a great resume and will likely be a head coach soon, and it's great to see guys on staff finding a big promotion like that (also down the road maybe he proves himself and would be interested in coming back once Harbaugh retires, fingers crossed).
OTOH I watched the offense and the QB's last year just like everybody else and won't be up in arms if the new coach wants someone else.

The simplest thing to do is to drag it into the comment box from a site hosting it. I wrote a sticky a while back that should help with any questions about formatting and posting pictures and gifs and whatnot.

Softball is going to be really, really good and doesn't have a coach that's a) just a vacancy b) having a down year despite resurrecting a program or c) a living legend who has probably stayed on past his prime like we've got with the revenue sports.

Bones also usually heal more easily. I definitely don't need to be reminded how awful Fitz' broken leg looked, but I'd almost always rather break a bone than tear something.

I'm having a couple Crispin's watching the Wings. Definitely not a bad way to spend some time, if only they could get the offense going.

It's my aunt's place and that part of the family has put a lot into it the past couple years. It's not that noticible in the current location but they're looking to open up another one downtown, possibly on Main St.

Do you have any insight as to what Babcock's workload now is compared to the hours a top college coach puts in? I kind of doubt he comes just because it seems like there's no compelling reason, but a bunch of little things adding up could make the rumors more believable too.
In football it seems like an NFL coach should be able to have a life during the offseason instead of recruiting 24/7, but the NHL season is way longer than the NFL season is, and I don't know if a hockey coach is recruiting as much as a football coach.

I'd let JT Barrett take a shot at me early in the game if I was on the field, just to see what happened.
|4 weeks 2 days ago||Am I the only one who thinks||
Am I the only one who thinks throwing a single punch really isn't that big of a deal during a football game? I'm not talking about hitting someone on the ground or starting a brawl, but I thought it was ridiculous that Gholston was suspended for punching Lewan in the helmet and got nothing for twisting Denard's helmet while he was on the ground, for one crazy example.
I get that it's unsportsmanlike and should obviously get flagged, but dismissing someone from a team for hitting a guy wearing a helmet seems crazy to me.
