Assuming Wikipedia is correct, they actually retired numbers as late as Eddie George, but "enshrined" Troy Smith's #10 while still issuing it.
That sounds a lot like a legends jersey without the patch.

It'd be a bit different if I didn't see "classic" as an older movie.

There was a noticable lack of "using a bicycle as a weapon" in John's sibling fighting story.
|1 day 17 hours ago||Mods, where you at?||
The best idea is to leave a comment here. I realize that might be difficult for app users, but making a thread is probably going to make things worse.
The OP was right about a certain poster crossing the line in another thread, though.
|1 day 17 hours ago||The deleted post said||
The deleted post said this:
Expecting posters to refrain from personally insulting athletes isn't anything new. I'm 99.99% sure it predates my time here and I've been around a while.
This thread will be going shortly. I mostly wanted the OP and anyone else interested to know that there's already a place to voice concerns, and deleting this thread right away wouldn't allow for that.
|1 day 18 hours ago||I just deleted the worst post||
I just deleted the worst post of the bunch if you're seeing it for the first time.
For future reference OP, just post a comment in the mod sticky if you want to get something to our attention.

Elliott Mealer's beard and Lewan's twosie would have also been prime candidates a few years back.

Disregard anything I said about a tiger.

Going back and looking at the all email list, Barely Legal Little Leaguers and Special Skaters are hilarious as well.

I think he's still raising money for the Aides for Everyone Foundation.

I thought my memory might be off because I remember hearing "terrorism" as one of the reasons for closing it to the public.

Ilitch is supposedly revealing more details to City Council today, but a quick search didn't find any news about it yet.
|4 days 3 hours ago||I like everything about||
I like everything about post-renovation Michigan Stadium better, except that it's not open to run stairs/bleachers any more.
That timeline might not fit exactly, but it's close enough.

I won't be concerned until Jay goes full Rice and starts sending letters to cats.

He modded while he was at work and then did trivial things like "spend time with his kids" when he got home.
As usual, LSA hit the current tendencies right on the nose. I start and finish work really late for someone in our time zone and he has a more conventional schedule, so he usually gets the mop up duty in the morning while I'm on later at night.

Didn't Mark Zuckerberg have six figure offers when he was a junior in high school or something? I didn't think that was incredibly unusual either.
Not to mention that the rest of the entertainment industry signs kids and teenagers all the time.

They still make pants like those for officials, but obviously it doesn't stand out the same way.

Would Itech pads, Jofa helmets, Sher-Wood sticks and Graf skates be a good answer or too 90's/high maintenance?

If you're looking for a value judgement in my post it isn't there.
|1 week 6 hours ago||I was wondering the same||
I was wondering the same thing. I'm indifferent to the legends jersey overall (good idea, bad execution, IMO) but this does seem to leave Desmond in an awkward position.
|1 week 6 hours ago||I haven't seen anything like||
I haven't seen anything like this for Bo or Moeller, but this is supposedly Tressel's sticker criteria. I'm assuming Meyer's isn't much different. Almost all are team or unit oriented.
|1 week 17 hours ago||He'd never do it, but I bet||
He'd never do it, but I bet Harbaugh could be a successful hockey coach, or soccer coach or softball coach. Obviously not all of his skills would translate, but a lot of them would.
By the same logic, I'd also bet he would make a successful CEO if he was able to build the culture around him or come into an environment where he'd be appreciated.
|1 week 1 day ago||That is a big difference, but||
That is a big difference, but I think my main point that Kentucky isn't an overwhelming favorite to win five in a row still stands. One in three isn't a lock by any standard.
|1 week 1 day ago||You deserve more upvotes for||
You deserve more upvotes for both of these charts, very well done, +1.
I agree this is somehow more damning than the first chart.
|1 week 1 day ago||I agree re: spectacular||
I agree re: spectacular failure, but I do wonder at least two things.
First, 3.86GPG is third lowest on the list. Where does a team averaging 3.86 end up on average (since being number one isn't something M can control)?
Second, are those teams scoring because they're dominating everyone or because they need to make up for bad defensive play/goaltending? The second wouldn't vindicate Red but I think it's worth asking.

I believe Kenpom had their odds to win it all at about 25%. Nobody will ever be an overwhelming favorite to win five games in a row against competition with a pulse.
|1 week 1 day ago||I wouldn't want to teach it,||
I wouldn't want to teach it, I'd get people who actually know their fields.
The idea came to me when I was reading the OP and thinking my high school journalism class probably has the best usefulness to time invested ratio of any class I've ever been in, and accounting has to be up there as well.
Edit: Basic statistics as well, can't believe I left that out.
|1 week 1 day ago||Someone should create a class||
Someone should create a class called Shit you will probably use in day to day life that includes a couple weeks on journalism, accounting, business ettiquette, three branches of government and their purposes, social media 101 and a bunch of other things I'm probably overlooking.
I feel like you could help fix a large portion of humanity and make a bunch of cash at the same time. Then again I'm still paying off my failed "jump to conclusions mat" business, so what the hell do I know.
|1 week 1 day ago||I agree with everything you||
I agree with everything you say, but I want to bring a bit of perspective to the concept of what is and isn't an actual rule for the site.
The FAQ is a great place to start, but it's a total of 455 words and was written six years ago. I'm not saying those aren't the best guidelines, but the stuff that Seth has said along with BiSB, PGB, Zone Left, LSA and myself is going to be more specific, flexible and up to date for day-to-day life on MGo. That's not saying everyone needs to be taking notes or anything, but like you say, "no religion" has been in place for quite a while whether it's mentioned in the FAQ or not.
I think the rest of the mods would agree with saying the line gets crossed when you're calling someone names, trying to preach your brand of religion or posting religious based judgments on someone (Tebow is dumb because he's Christian, Toussaint is going to hell for having a child out of wedlock, ect).
Overall I'd agree with saying don't be a shithead in general. I think there's a good reason a golden rule concept existed pretty much worldwide and predating a lot of intercommunication.
