Jacksonville assigned jersey numbers to rookies today and Denard ended up with #29. I was hoping Jordan Shipley would switch from #16 so Shoelace could nab it.

I've worn the same Michigan gear for the games but my big superstition is my magical beanie hat that I put on at some point in the 2nd half of the Kansas game. In celebration of the win I threw the hat. I vowed that the hat shall not be touched until right before tip for the Florida game and removed right after the game ends to preserve the magic. I did the same for the Syracuse game and it remains undisturbed. Got to get one more win out of that magical beanie. 

My wife had a dream last night that she and I were sitting at a table eating subs with Coach Beilein. As Coach went to take a bite of his sub she woke up. It was crazy.

edit Denard to Medium-4 or you can do what I did and change Vincent Smith into Denard by changing his rtgs (and vice versa). Since VS already has the dreads as a default you can do this. (Denard has to be exactly 6 ft, 189 though or it wont work. Any heavier or taller and you lose the dreads for some reason). Hope this helps

I really hope Portsmouth can recover from this soon. It's a shame to see such a historic town in this type of situation. Most are probably unaware that the Detroit Lions originated from Spartan Stadium in Portsmouth and were formerly known as the Portsmouth Spartans.

Ohio State appealed the decision to the Ohio Court of Appeals and the Ohio Supreme Court and the decision was upheld.

Is it possible that tSIO is purposely softballing JT because of this? If he's going to be fired anyway they may want the NCAA to drop the banhammer on him so as to avoid this from happening again. And if he doesn't get fired they celebrate in the streets for getting away with it. Just a thought.

In the first two SL games he got limited minutes and the minutes he did get were in streaky 4 minute intervals. I think he only played 8 minutes total on Tuesday. Wednesday was the first real chance Peedi had to get into the flow of the game and showcase his skills. 18 points in 16 minutes with a .727 FG% is not too shabby.

Zeigler was quoted as saying that he preferred that Manny stay but that it wouldn't affect his decision either way. Of course, this is a poltically correct answer but IME Manny's departure is more likely to increase UM's chance of landing him than hurt.
