3 years 12 weeks ago	Trip to columbus	I too live in columbus....I can thank the ex-wife for that one! I would recommed staying away from the off campus housing in and around the lane ave. and neil area. It is a gauntlet of beer bottles/cans being thrown at you as well as drunk ass splunkers looking to fight anyone in maize and blue. The afore mentioned parking lot next to the medical center is a good place to park and tailgate. That being said, I am not sure the lot will be open at that time due to a large amount of construction taking place in that area. As for safety, I suggest finding UM fans ASAP. Those people will fight their OWN fans without thinking twice. One of my friends, who is an osu fan, required some reconstructive surgery when he got jumped after the Texas game for wearing a cowboy hat. They never bothered to check out the osu gear he was wearing. Nonetheless I will be there with my UM gear and cooler full of beer.
