perfect answer. all i can do is applaud. This sums up exactly how i feel about barry and how i feel about having a leroy hoard/anthony thomas vs. norfleet. |
| 6 weeks 5 days ago | 1000 points to you |
so many great quotes from that movie |
| 7 weeks 5 days ago | I can easily say this: |
Cupboard at Stanford when he took the job: full |
| 9 weeks 6 days ago | 5' 10 White Point Guard |
with ridiculous handle, could shoot, tough as nails, nuts hung to the floor, had great college career, solid nba career and a pretty good nba coach - Scott Skiles. I have a feeling spike is not going to lay down and hand over the PG spot to anyone. |
| 9 weeks 6 days ago | "its one of the great blocks.... |
...not just a block." Amen, brother. Amen |
| 11 weeks 6 days ago | running backs |
"They’re all about playing the same." Awesome. Just what I wanted to hear. Add that to "JMFR just tore his knee to shreds" as the top two offseason statements I was so looking forward to hearing. |
| 12 weeks 6 days ago | FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU |
NONONONONONONONONONONONONONONO what the hell....countess last year, now ryan. we aren't allowed to field our best defenders in the same season?????? |
| 13 weeks 4 days ago | disgraceful |
should have been up 20 in the first half if they just hit their open looks. this team will be bounced in the second round, just like last year. that game was vomit to watch. i hate you bo ryan, and all you stand for. quit basketball and go run a communist country and do all basketball fans a favor. bo ryan is the void. |
| 15 weeks 5 hours ago | Offense and Defense |
Offense: 1. a second and third receiver need to emerge behind Gallon. This could be a tight end, but the offense would really need to feature that tight end. 2. a consistent running game that gets us in great 2nd down situations and can convert short yardage 3rd downs consistently.
Defense: 1. Pressure on the QB. QB's facing UM should know they have very little time to make a decision. I would like to see the pass rush become much more effective. 2. Coverage sacks. When the pass rush breaks down, it would be nice if that didn't matter because everyone was blanketed, thanks.

I love finding a band I haven't heard before that has a whole catelog of music I can dive into. I found the Smiths late in life and it was like Christmas, just soaking in album after album. Nothing like binging on old, great music that you have just discovered for yourself. |
| 17 weeks 6 days ago | To prove your Second Point: |
6 assists last night. Burke is averaging over 7 a game (but it may dip below seven if things keep trending downward) but we get 6 as a TEAM. The ball has stopped moving in the same way? Absolutely. Oh, and no one other than burke or hardaway can beat their man. and when they do, there are plenty of bigs waiting for them at the rim, because they don't have to guard GRIII. |
| 17 weeks 6 days ago | Thank you Brian |
I wait all night and into the day to read what I WANTED TO SHOUT AT MY CHILDREN AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS!!! But I don't have to shout at my children (they thank you as well, our would if they understood anything about this irrational passion for UM that i hold so dear) because I know catharsis will come with a new day and Brian successfully encapsulating in prose the crushing of my soul as BRAH ran roughshod over my dreams and my team. |
| 17 weeks 6 days ago | we cannot beat anyone on the road who plays defense.... |
...and has an offense. In the Big Ten, that means Indiana and Mich. State. I am not convinced, with the disappearance of GRIII and the lack of creativity (assists) of late, that we can win against either of those teams on a neutral court.

| 18 weeks 1 day ago | i have so much impotent rage for wisconsin |
i knew what was going to happen. I still watched every minute of the wisconsin python slowly constrict the soul from our basketball team and from life itself . I knew it would ruin my day, which it did, but i watched anyway. the only comfort i have is that they apply their formula of soul ripping basketball to others in the big ten. Who is going to stop this disease? no one, because no one can. the light is just swallowed by the void, and there is no hope for life where Bo Ryan is concerned. |
| 18 weeks 4 days ago | speaking of genetics.... |
....that is a lovely example of high quality genetics. |
| 19 weeks 3 days ago | loved it |
knowing how likely it is we are losing key cogs to the bball team next year, i am savoring every moment of this basketball team. such a special collection of players, orchestrated by a fantastic coach and a gifted point guard. such a joy to watch. |

I laughed out loud at this one |
| 28 weeks 2 hours ago | Basketball coaches in the Big Ten, 11, 12....err....14 |
They are top notch. They are paid accordingly. The Big Ten is a top notch basketball conference. I am sensing a correlation between good coaches, high pay, and quality programs. Football Coaches in the Big Ten. They are not top notch. They are not paid like top notch coaches. We are not a top notch football conference. (see SEC for a conference that will pay out the nose for coaches, e.g., Saban, Miles, etc.) If the Big Ten paid more for high quality football coaches I have this crazy, out of left field, totally insane notion that the conference may start getting a reputation as a top foot ball conference. You know football right? Its that sport that allows the Big Ten to give competitive salaries to their BASKETBALL coaches. |
| 29 weeks 3 days ago | What happened today was the epitome of Ohio State |
Ignore any wrong doing that may have occured and act like nothing matters but the result. While Michigan, on the other hand, takes down banners, and basically refuses to acknowledge the Fab Five until penance has been completed. Which, until Webber admits any culpability, will never happen. A stark difference. |
| 34 weeks 3 days ago | right there with you |
i swear more during michigan games than any other time of the year |
| 46 weeks 3 days ago | Game of Thrones Series - George R. R. Martin |
I guess you get a nerd hall pass for not having been on top of this already since your excuse is that you were studying other books. Read the books, then watch the series on HBO. It doesn't get much better right now in fantasy/dragons/sex/magic/blood/guts/intrigue/power politics. |
| 46 weeks 4 days ago | that brought tears to my eyes.... |
....about his promise to his brother, who passed away.
We won't be seeing another student/athlete like this young man for generations.

| 47 weeks 1 day ago | Heinekens are all i have on hand.... |
....luckily there are 12 of them. I am just waiting for "Denard jumps on car hood during a police chase after breaking into a dorm room to steal a laptop while high on cocaine." |
| 47 weeks 3 days ago | I too ran out of patience |
I had to email Brian to see if he knew anything to help me sit tight. I am in AZ, so I figured maybe they were going out in waves or something.
|
| 1 year 1 week ago | if sparty's luck runs out.... |
...they start the season 2-3 and end it with 5 wins. A stout defense can cover a multitude of offensive sins, which should get them to 7 or 8 wins. I will be holding a hope deep in my heart that the sparty golden age comes to an end this year and we will dine on their sweet, delicious tears. I would prefer to start the feast with Boise State coming to spartyland and dropping 4 or 5 trick plays for touchdowns on their way to a complete behind the woodshed thrashing. |
| 1 year 48 weeks ago | I have lived in Sedona for a year and a half |
and agree with everything mgobleu has said. Keep these things in mind if you are thinking of Sedona: Its 45 minutes to a Best Buy up in Flagstaff. It's 30 minutes to a radioshack in Cottonwood. The coffee shops here fought providing free wifi until just recently. There are about 2 places open after 9pm. I am not kidding. The scenery is nice (the drive up the canyon to flag is incredible), the weather is SO much better than Phoenix....and Ann Arbor (where I lived for 8 years prior to coming here). Winter is a sweatshirt and jeans. Dude....I hope you like to hike...or bike.....or just sitting in your house playing video games/watching movies/surfing the net....because that is all that is really going on here. Flagstaff is a college town (Northern Arizona University)...but not nearly as nice as Ann Arbor...but you can ski there...so you have that going for you. Best of luck on the move! |
