I don't know the kid, but I would be really disappointed if he wore his jersey.
|40 weeks 4 days ago||Still, it doesn't hurt to ask||
Still, it doesn't hurt to ask the guy if you could still stick around to lend a hand. It shows that you have a little heart and drive. What's the worst he's going to say? No? OK, no big deal. You can change into your jersey when you get to your seat.
Like everyone else has been saying, youll need to pull out all the stops and act the part. Also, immediately text or email him a thank you when your job is done. Who knows, the next time around he may consider keeping you on board for good!
|40 weeks 4 days ago||If this is a job opportunity||
If this is a job opportunity and you came in dressed wearing your jeresy it shows how serious you're taking it... and if you're really expecting to walk back down to your seat in the stands than you should wear your jersey and enjoy the game as a fan because you're already expecting to fail.
If you really want to make this work, take your friends advice and dress professional... and if this guy told you that you will have to leave after pregame I am sure if you dressed the part, were respectful, kept your mouth shut (unless spoken to) and made yourself useful that he wouldn't mind you sticking around for the game.
Even if he asked you to leave, I'd politely ask him if it would be alright if you stuck around incase he needs a hand...
My advice- put your big boy pants on.

Harbaugh will most likely do the opposite of what Magnus feels is best and we'll be better for it.

I keep things simple, but use the hell out of google drive, google keep (a must), spotify, skype, mgoblog, around me and google now (customize news/events thats important to you).
I'm starting to get familiar with Pocket, which seems to be nice.
Id like to find a few more games and podcast

"1234" would be the perfect jersey number... they would never have to worry about it being worn by anyone, its as generic as it gets and it would open the door to other popular jerseys numbers such as 1243,1324, 1342, 1423, 1432, 2134, 2143, 2314, 2341, 2413, 2431, 3124, 3142, 3214, 3241, 3412, 3421, 4321, 4231, 4123, 4132, 4231, 4213.... now if they really want to get creative they could use consecutive numbers like 1111, 2222, 3333, 4444 or even better use symbols such as !,@,#,$

Does anyone remember if it was a Burger King or McDonalds that they tore down next to the Maynard parking garage (late 80's-early 90's)... When I was a kid I remember that place being covered by mayflies or some sort of bug infestation.

|2 years 17 weeks ago||two reasons why Marty could be a killer...||
Marty may or may not be one of the killer, however, I found ties to religion and the type of women Marty associates himself with parallel with Dora's death.
- The Women: Based on his reaction to the girl cheating on him and meeting the guys that messed around his with daughter, he definitly shows he has the rage to do some pretty crazy shit. Cohle also describes the type of girl Dora would've been in the first episode. The description sounds a lot like the girls Marty hooks up with. Also, note the conversation and reaction Marty had with the whore boss. She either read him pretty well or knew him from before.
- Ties Religion: Rust invokes religion during episode 3 (i believe) and we see Marty freak out. In his defense it was dark, but it was a touchy subject for him. We also find that Marty found religion during his marriage from his ex-wife interview and if you play poker, you'll see for a second Marty shows his poker face when they bring up Tuttle death. He also leaves the room after he finds out that they believe Cohle is behind it somehow (I think he really left because he was involved behind Tuttle death and was going to let one of the other members know that Cohle was on to them). My point here is that religion has a big part of the dora's death and I see Marty hiding his views on it very well... I also think thats a reason why Ledux was shot. He said he saw Cohle in his dreams... maybe the guy was on LSD or something when Marty was trying to warn the others about Rust...also its ironic that they get a lead on the iron "crusaders" and it just so happens that they had cop uniforms and a suicide mission the same day Cohn visits them?

The state of Indiana produces more basketball players than football and the rest of region gets eaten up by the B1G... I wonder why they have to pull kids from outside of the midwest and they jumped ship!?!
|2 years 20 weeks ago||Funny, I was thinking the||
Funny, I was thinking the same thing... What's ironic about what Foote is saying and the Irish jumping ship, is that havent they lowered their standards to make room to play teams like BC, WF, GT.... If you asked, Im sure they care less about standards if it means they can increase the lead in all time winning percentage.

Bad influences are found on every college campus. If they were to say FSU/OSU had a coaching staff that they trusted would protect their child from making the wrong decisions is one thing, but to just come out and say leaving the state will protect their son from being surround by bad influences almost comes across like you're throwing in the towel as a responsible parent.

I missed the IU game and dont have it in me to sort through the snowflakes, but I heard Lavert was a bit of a ball hog that game. I noticed he wasnt looking to pass in the Purdue win and found it interesting (if true) if that continued this game. Can anyone confirm this was the case?
|2 years 21 weeks ago||Its true kids are||
Its true kids are impressionable and other schools may challange their paradigms, but if your program has it all vs all the others, does it really take a great sales pitch to sway you away from your dream?! Especially, when you consider kids these days have so much more information at their finger tips and are influenced by media than many of us were?
No question theres so much to consider, which is why I enjoyed reading some of the comments on this thread.
