- Speight got injured in that game.
- OSU's offense was not good for the latter half of the year. They struggled against Wisconsin, PSU, Northwestern, MSU, and Michigan and then got shut out against Clemson.

If you want to make an argument that the night game matters, you need to show that either the home team wins more often or that there are more upsets during night games compared to non-night games.
Not that I wouldn't love to see more night games, but your argument is utterly ridiculous.

That argument isn't that Higgins is incompetent. It either means that he refs against them or that there is a higher likelihood that he refs in their bigger games. Considering that there are more games in the earlier rounds, it makes sense that there is a higher likelihood of him reffing Kentucky for games where they play better competition, e.g. against the 1-seed in the Elite 8.

Technically, they are a middie, but the face of guys are usually only on the field for face offs, so they get the nick name "fogo" (face off, get off). Also, a shot clock can be put on if a team is thought to be stalking, so they do need top continue to attack the net.

That PSU comeback is one of my all-time favorite games. I remember mentioning this on here and someone pointed out that the reason they were down so much in the 4th quarter was because of his interception that he threw. When the comeback was complete on Sunday, one of the thoughts that went through my head was the similarity in circumstances between that game and the PSU game. He's always been and always will be an all-time great in my mind.

Does Jack Harbaugh live in Tennessee? Harbaugh was at the Vanderbilt game with him last night and I, not realizing it was still the dead period, figured he was recruiting. Maybe he was there so his dad could be around for the birth?

|20 weeks 2 days ago||You hit the nail on the head||
You hit the nail on the head in saying that non-conference games don't matter. The CFP and B1G CG selection process are using two different criteria; one is using overall record and the other is using conference record. If you want the conference champion to be the best team by CFP standards, then you need to take the two teams by CFP standards, which is to use the two best teams by overall record. That also eliminates the need for divisions.
The main problem with this is that it incentivises playing a crappy OOC schedule. So, you either take the two highest ranked teams in the CFP or you take OOC schedule into consideration as well either by forcing teams to play equitable schedules or make the tie-breaker SOS.
This is by far the easiest way to fix the problem as it doesn't necessarily affect scheduling and it can be an immediate fix starting next season. Everything else is just using this as an excuse for more conference realignment, which won't do anything to really solve the problem.

It doesn't say $3 million/year. It says $30 million over 10 years. It could start at $2 million per year and end at $4 million. It could all be guaranteed. There could be incentives in the contract to increase his salary if he wins bowl games or makes the playoffs. There is to much that could be in the contract to say that it's stupid for him to take the contract.

I am still not sure, but I think you are right. PSU would be 2-1 over top 10 teams, including over a team in the playoff. Wisconsin would be 1-2. Michigan is 3-1.
Ultimately, I think it's important for that to be a close game. Either team separating itself from the other is probably not good news for us.

That's for a medical redshirt, not a 6th year of eligibility, which also requires that the player not have used a redshirt already. 6th year of eligiblity is granted on a case-by-case basis.

Go a few frames before that and the nose of the ball is just touching the line. Centers get some leeway when setting up to snap the ball, so using the position of the ball once he grabs it is incorrect.

Let it happen. Then grab the 3 NC teams, the 2 VA teams, GaTech, and Pitt/Syracuse. With getting half of the ACC, I think they could dissolve the ACC and avoid the buyouts. Clemson, Louisville, FSU, and Miami can join the SEC.
Put those 7 in the B1G East with PSU, Rutgers, and Maryland. The rest can be in the B1G West. Two round robins within the divisions and a conference championship game at the end.

All undefeated and 12-1 conference champs would go first. Then, you're competing with 10/11-2 conference champs and other 11-1 teams. You've got five power conferences, so you'd need two of them to have a champion with 2 losses. It's possible, but not likely.

Not exactly. Think of an application having layers. You have the database that stores the responses. You have the application layer that retrieves the data and manipulates it. Then you have the user interface that allows user to trigger certain parts of the application. In the case of MGoBlog, there are two user interfaces: the site and the app. The site prevents users from interacting with locked topics, but the app does not.

2007 was an anomaly. The weather was horrible and Henne, Hart, and Long were injured. We couldn't move the ball (hence the 3 points). Tressel was content to 3&out every drive until Michigan showed any ability to move the ball, which they never did.
In 2002, we lost 14-9.
