Tend to agree with all the comments above. It's the smallest or second smallest stadium in the NFL, and I think most seats have pretty good views of the field. East side of the stadium is the club side, so tickets will typically be more expensive, but you have access to the United Club to take refuge if the weather is bad. As far as the fans go, as with anywhere at any level of sports, there will be a few bad apple fans that act inappropriate (both visitors and home team). I think overall the fans are respectful to opposing fans, and it isn't a hostile environment. I haven't personally witnessed anything bad, but occaisionally read about a report here or there. Have fun!
I definitely check it way more than I should... I probably also post way more than I should - which isn't much anyways. Much like this post right here, I rarely have anything significant to add.
Although I agree that the point system needs fine tuning, I think the site is still enjoyable. It was enjoyabe during the Haloscan days, and it is enjoyable now. Although I'm not an avid poster, I don't think the message board is the main function of this website (at least for me). Read what you want to read, post if you want to post, and who cares what everone else thinks - as long as you don't get the almighty ban hammer.
Although this might be true, does this annoy anyone? To me, if you get suspended for something that warrants an entire year's suspension, I don't think you should get another crack at those games...
Coach Smith looks like my high school physics teacher. Thank goodness Smith doesn't sound or come off like him. I agree with a lot of the comments in various posts - I like this staff more and more. Hopefully that opinion continues to grow throughout the fall.
Ha. In the fourth quarter, the ND fan behind me at the game when the sun started peeking through was like "God is shining on Notre Dame now, what do you think of that?" I simply responded with "Denard."
I'll say Old Style Light... Being from Chicago, I make my friends try it when they visit just to see their faces. Also Red Dog is awful. Schmitt's Gay is pretty terrible too. Sorry in advance.
I couldn't agree more with wanting a UConn big win to start the season. I don't think there would be a better way to get the team some confidence and answer some of our pre-season questions.... This day cannot come fast enough.
I too moved to an EVO. Been very impressed. Here are my opinions between an Android and iPhone.....
The Android, or Droid if you want the Motorola Droid or Droid Incredible (I'm pretty sure "droid" just refers to the verizon Android devices... not sure if you want to only limit yourself to Verizon), you are going to get a phone with fewer limitations. As somebody mentioned, you can change the on screen keyboard if you opt for one without a hardware keyboard. Swype is incredible, I have it on my EVO: http://www.swypeinc.com/. Swype even says on their website not to expect this on an iPhone any time soon because the Apple phone software is essentially closed off and their policies limit what applications can do. After switching to the (An)droid, I am very very happy. This is my second one.
My favorite feature of the iPhone was its seamless integration with iTunes for the purpose of loading music. I still haven't found a music application that compares to the iPhone/iPod touch one.
Added bonus: you aren't bound to ATT with an iPhone
If you are observant and the ticket taker for your line is checking closely, just go to a different one. I've found that most the students enter on the north side of the stadium. If you enter on the south side, they didn't really care... just in my limited experience on that side.
Kiffin, Chow, and Orgeron... almost starting to sound like the powerhouse USC program minus Carroll...
I'm really curious to see what's going to happen on signing day now. Both USC and Tennessee had pretty good recruiting classes going for them. At least the football offseason is somewhat interesting.
Da Bears...
Grew up in Chicagoland... nothing like going to Soldier Field in December or January. Also, as a poster noted above, the Super Bowl Shuffle is the best music video ever.
To reiterate:
Only go to Weiner Circle if you are drunk and it is after 1am or so... it's part of the experience... You will never forget it.
Hot Doug's is awesome, but it is more of a gourmet sausage place (insert joke here). They have a rotating menu, so check out their website. Also, the recommendation for goose fat fries is good. It is BYO, so grab a six pack of your favorite brew if you are going to go. Be prepared to wait a long time if you are going during lunch hours. Somebody mentioned Kumas, if you decide on a burger, you can't go wrong there, but also be prepared to wait an hour and a half for a table during lunch.
Pretty much anywhere you go will have a decent hot dog. A lot of the stands use the same brand of hot dogs. I like Clark Street Dogs because I live close. Also have had Gold Coast Dogs. Portillo's are good (I like their crinkle fries too)...

I work with a decent number of Badgers... they are mostly reasonable... annoyingly optimistic but reasonable.
This is great. It's sort of awkward. He seems very calm and content.

I'll likely be there. Not that my presence means all that much as I'm a mostly silent observer (but long-time silent observer).

This is absolutely amazing
This is something I thought the very first version of MGoDroid did and hasn't done since... I miss this feature...
I'll be there - not sure where my seats are or tailgate is yet... Should be a good game.
Wow... Just wow...
Thanks for a good run. Good luck at ESPN.

Getting it on chrome as well... Just going to read on the android app for now.
Holy crap if true.
No issues on the evo...

Great name. I love me some linebackers. Good luck and go blue!
Same boat. I'm not missing this game no matter the cost. It also happens to be my birthday.
Whatever they are brewing today at a local brew pub... then who knows.
That is one of my favorite lines from a that season.
Thank you. The MGoBlue videos never load from the site on my work computer - regardless of the browser.
This made me log in to vote. Good words.

Yeah, as a Cubs fan, the whole "wait until next year" motto sickens me.
This is absolutely amazing.
This might be the funniest thing I've seen in a while. Thank you, sir.

You have those notes for statistics?
Great video. I've been watching these all morning. GO BLUE!
Ha, after the 7th image on google image search for "posbang" al the results seem to be from mgoblog. Yes I'm bored... I'll participate in the banging.

Time to start drinking.
