I dont know that he is currently loved by the fanbase. He was a quarterback that won a big ten championship in '86. Then he was a pro. Now a coach who has already questioned Michigan's academics in the athletic department (which he will undoubtedly walk back if he gets hired). Why would he be LOVED.
I think the fanbase REALLY loves the idea of him as coach. Like others above me have already said before, if he turned down the job, we would continue to feel chapped.

I thought for a second it was Appalacian State and then "The Horror on Ice" and then reality set in. Nonetheless kinda interesting because Phoenix had a hard time supporting a pro hockey team.

If only there were some sort of device which would allow people to speak to one another over long distances. Something that would allow two way communication. Hmmm. It would probably need a microphone or some sort of device which would allow sound waves to be transmitted to voltages, those voltages could be relayed via low frequency light waves so to a similar reciever where it can be reconverted to voltages which would vibrate a paper plate. If all of this were reversible and portable, I would call it a headset.
I should be an AD. I just invented the headset. Someone tell Hoke!

I seem to recall Herbie et al making a big deal about it last year.
Also, it seems that his only bar is national chamipionships then he goes into a list of teams that have not won a national championship, since WW2 or... like... ever, Standford, Oregon, Baylor.

When chosing a projector:
How loud is it? It matters alot for someone who cares about sound. I dont want to hear the fan when somebody is whispering in the movie.
How bright is the room? A screen will run you $500. Grey screens which will keep darks darker can help if you have uncontrolled light in the room. Lumens, lumens, lumens. Also getting a new bulb would be required if you dont get an LED light engine (which I have in the back of my 56" dlp tv).
How are you going to wire it? I wired through the ceiling because I built in a cabinet in the back wall. The joists were running the right way for me to do this. I dont like wires and neither should you.
10 years ago when I did the theater in my parents basement (for a christmas present for my pops) a projector was a reasonable choice. They had a nice fireplace which they use which meant there was big payback for having an electric rolldown screen.
Currently, my small office of 10 people is moving upstairs and ditching our projector for an 80" TV. Looking and taking notes and having windows in the conference room means there will be alot of light. Also the benefit of basic speakers on the system is an upside for us there.
I would get a TV.

From the video, I am happy that they are showcasing how much Minnesotans love winter. We love the cold. Heck, we have an outdoor beer festival in the middle of January when there are perfectly good buildings sitting empty right next door.

Maybe I am the only one, but havent I been reading that Hoke&Co left 3 or 4 on the table for the 2014 class? Why is 2015 going to be a small class? Shouldnt it be the average, 20 players, plus the 3 or 4 we left on the table?

Maybe within the footprint of the new outdoor track. The master plan hatched a couple years back didnt include a LAX specific stadium but it appears a new track is in the works.
Can a LAX field fit within a 400m track?

Science at its purest form has no practical application. It is just discovery for the purpose of satiating our curiosity.
Passing a wire through a magnetic field resulting in a current used to be a bar trick by Ol' Man Faraday. Its kinda important now.
Engineering is the practical application of science.
I recommend StarTalk with Neil Degrasse Tyson.

I feel like there is a "second lead" in this story which was buried. The speed of light was exceeded... or theorized to have been exceeded. Symantecs as far as I am considered.
What repurcussions are there within physics if light is no longer considered the universal speed limit?
